So B was a pretty fab sleeper until about 2/3 weeks ago. He now wakes up at least twice in the night for a feed. There have been a lot of changes recently: he started weaning, moved into the cotbed in his own room, we moved him out of his sleepyhead, he can crawl and the weather has been so hot meaning his room is about 26/27 degrees - we do have a fan in there but it doesn't seem to do much. H and I are exhausted, not helped by the fact that I've gone back to work for the last 2 weeks and H is on additional paternity leave. So any ideas on how we can help B to sleep through again?! Or even just one wake up would be ok!!!

My little one stopped sleeping through when he started weaning too. I started offering water rather than milk at night and tried to make sure he got more milk during the day.

How much milk is he taking in the day? Could food be making him too full to take his full milk requirements, leaving him hungry in the night?

Has he dropped milk during the day and replaced with food? If so I'd try get more milk in/less solids. Is he just thirsty at night because of the heat? My 3 yr old is drinking over a pint of water at night just now.
It could just be developmental. A was a great sleeper but awful from 4-7 months which coincided with sitting up, rolling, solids and me going back to work.

Thanks for the advice ladies. He was on 5 x 7oz before we started. Some days he has 3 bottles, some 5! So I don't know what's going on. He has had 2 teeth come through recently as well so I do wonder if they are hurting him as well. He also seems to be suffering from really bad wind but not able to bring it up or get it out. I've tried everything Incan think of but nothing seems to help!
