All three of my little ones were sooo comfy they all decided to stay inside for another 2 weeks! I tried EVERYTHING but to no avail! Keeping my fingers crossed your little ones decide to make an appearance soon!

I'll be joining you with a Nov baby too!
Lottie: Sorry to hear that the walk didn't help, keep doing it, your baby will arrive at some point!!
Abbey: I'm sure, if you want another sweep before the induction you can have 1. Contact the community midwives.
I feel a bit similar to you Lottie, most mornings I wake up forgetting i'm pregnant, really don't feel as far along as I am!! Haven't had any signs to show baby might be close to arriving, no cramps, aches, pains or my bump dropping. Oh well, at least I can go to the fireworks tonight!! Got my next mw appointment on Tues then I think I have to start going to the hospital for monitoring as I'm not having an induction.
Fingers crossed we all have babies very soon x

I'm still here too 41+3 by NHS dates & 40+6 by mine & really feeling like I've been pregnant forever!! I'm lucky that other than tiredness I have no complaints but I really wish I was feeling uncomfortable & having cramps or whatever as then at least I'd have an idea that this baby might arrive sometime before Christmas.
I know 3 people who've now had their babies before me who were due after me.
Hopefully not too much longer for us.

Lottie: I don't think you can have a water birth once you've been given the induction drugs but I could be wrong (I know I won't be able to have my home birth if I do). No sweeps yet but then I had a different mw last week who was lovely & hope my usual mw might actually be supportive when I see her on Tues to discuss monitoring rather than induction. Tbh if she tries to force anything I think I'll just walk out on her as I can't be doing with her stress! Hope it's not too much longer for you x
Abbey: Fingers (& toes) crossed you labour naturally in the next few days x

Ladies, sounds like you've both got some progress going on. Really hope you both both naturally before inductions.
Well my midwife is carrying on being a pain & booking things for me with my consent (when she phoned me today her 1st words were, 'haven't you had your baby yet!!' Grrrr). I went over her head & spoke to a supervisor of midwives instead. I've got a monitoring appointment at the hospital on Thursday to monitor his heart beat for 20-30 mins & will probably have a scan to check the placenta & fluid then I'll meet with a consultant to discuss results then have twice weekly scans/monitoring. Will be 42 weeks then (but 'only' 41+3 by mine).
2 friends have recommended acupuncture to help kickstart labour (as I've got absolutely nothing going on here) so I will be phoning around tomorrow to see what I can get booked in for!!
Good luck x

I've never been so happy to be in pain, had cramps & backache all night, really hope this is the start of things for me.
Fingers crossed we're holding our babies very soon x
