if there are any of you out there?
Been getting cramping on and off for a few days and figured he was moving down as it passed yesterday and I could feel him in my pelvis.
Today my backache started as soon as I woke up, it has been horrendous, couldn't walk about for much of the day. It's a different type of back pain to what I normally get. Am also having lots of diarrhoea :/ I am still early but hoping this could be it as i am so uncomfortable and turning into a right moaning mare! ;) Movements were reduced last night so am keeping an eye on it and have been in constant contact with my midwife over text message who is coming to see me tomorrow.
Anyone have their labour start with backache?

I didn't have backache but I certainly had the diarrhoea. That being said, I had weird feelings in my back which is where the contractions started and then swept around my belly. Fingers crossed something kicks off for you very soon x

There has been a constant ache all day but every so often it would tighten more. Every so often I get tightenings and cramps around the front but not enough to be timed.
I think I am just hoping too much! :/
Thanks DS x

I had backache the day before L was born and I had D&V before both my labours.
L turned out to be back to back which I didn't know until delivery. Do you know the babies position?
Warm bath, get your H to massage your back, couple of paracetamol. Do you have a birth or exercise ball? I find this helps when I have backache x

I had a scan last week LR and they didn't say he was but he moves so much that I guess he could have moved around? I don't know lol. I couldn't have a bath earlier as would have struggled to get out and been on my own all day with B (6) btu had a hot shower and it eased my back for a bit.
Thankyou both :o)

No I haven't but didn't at all with B, didn't notice one anyway. They said it probably came out when my waters gushed just before he was born.
My mum suffered with a really bad back with me, it gave out during labour, she had two mws propping her up :/
