Carli, mention it to her!! Have you had any physio? A lot of ladies get induced early or booked in for an elective section. I think it depends on how big your baby is measuring - obviously if bub is a big one then it's quite a risk to go ahead with a natural birth.

Have a look on the support forum there is an SPD post on there with loads of us who suffer from it and also people who have had it in the past offering support and advice x x x

I would make another appointment for physio. I had my appoinment last Thursday and I feel so much better for it. Was given crutches to help walk as I was finding walking a small distance leaves me in such pain. I would speak to your MW about it.

I'm not too happy about using crutches either, but hubby said that I had to get them as I can barely walk (I personally think he wanted me to get them so he could try them out LOL). I've got 4 weeks until my due date and it can't come quick enough. I'm hoping she's going to come early cuz the pain I'm in is awful. Perhaps if you can't get the physio before the birth, they might be able to get you an appointment afterwards. My physio said she is going to come and assess me after the birth to see whether I need any treatment.

LOL the crutches aren't that bad! You get a lot of sympathy from people and I dooo like to milk it. Can get very frustrating too though trying to do things and having to slow right down but they definitely help. They also give you a pelvic brace with keeps everrything together and is a lot more comfy than it sounds. I don't think you'll get any physio so late on now but they will book you in for after the birth. In the meantime have a look at www.pelvicpartnership.org.uk for some very useful tips and exercises to help with the pain xx
