I'm 16+4 and still haven't told our 5 yr old and 3.5 yr old we are having another baby!
A (5) has poked at my tummy and asked why I had a big tummy (I told her that was very rude to ask!) think we need to get a mmove on and tell them soon!

Best for you to do it rather than someone else! It's fab news! Share it!

Aww is there a reason you haven't? Be careful , someone will ask if they're excited about the baby!

I just wanted to wait as long as possible. February is a long way away for them and I know I'll be bombarded with questions. I also wanted to try and get the 20 week scan out the way but not sure we can wait another 4 weeks!

yes, I don't blame you. I remember when we told me son , he was 3.5 and wasn't really that interested! He just wanted to know if they baby would bring him a present! However your 5 year old might be more impatient! Are you finding out the sex?

No we won't find out the sex. I'm sure A will want to know how, why and how it's coming out!

Like others say, be careful someone doesn't say something to them! I can see why you want to wait until the 20 week scan though! When I was expecting my LO I told my 10 and 7 year old nieces and told them what month I was due. They were ok waiting, but they were older! It was trying to explain why I was late to them that was the hard part!!
My mum told me that I apparently told her she was pregnant long before she went for her scan when I was 4!

I've told Jude too, feel so much better since I have, felt like I was lying to him. He's 4, he knows about the baby but not that fussed and at least we've Christmas as a good distraction before the baby comes!
