Join the club!!
After pregnancy 1 when i measured 5ft 3 round gave birth to an 11lb 12oz baby I thought i couldn;t get any new stretch marks, with pregnancy 2 i measured 4ft 3 round and had a 10lb baby and was so much smaller, yet i still developed new stretch marks!
I like mine though!! they look funky!

i was pretty lucky with Ben and only got a few silvery stretchmarks on my tummy which have faded, and some quite purply ones on my boobs, which have also disappeared..
was beginning to think this time round i won't get any, but have still got just under 8 weeks to go.. and hearing that yours have kicked in at 35 weeks has made me rethink!! haven't used any cream at all yet, and remember being a bit obsessive about it with Ben!

I too got all my stretch marks at 35 weeks. I thought i was going to get away with none and then all of a sudden they appeared and each week they got bigger!
I hate them and cant bear to look at them. my boyfriend suggested we go on holiday with all of his friends this summer but i cant think of anything worse!

i agree with the cream situation i used coco butter all the time with jessica (no1) and still got loads i think no cream can ever stop them forming! but i went out and got some more palmers coco butter 2day 2rub on because they're so itchy at least i will smell nice lol!
i know how u feel rachel, i was thinking the same whenever i can fit in2 a bikini again i'm not too sure about showing my tummy! my old marks have faded well but in a nice way they remind me of my babies so its not all bad.
i was dead optimistic too lucy about not getting any more wish i'd slapped a bit of cream on now before it was too late, get stocked up while u've time left lol!
thank u 4all ur posts its made me feel better x x

hiya, has anyone ever used bio oil?
i got some the other day as coby got some really bed chicken pox spots on his face so thought i would try it on my stretch marks too.
i love the smell of the cocoa butter even if it dosent work its nice to have some me time putting it on

my husband's sister used bio oil and it didn't work for her - she's covered in them!! i think it's more to do with genetics than anything else..
i agree Jo about the varicose veins, my mum has them really badly and i did get a couple of nasty ones with Ben.. which are beginning to get bigger and bigger as bump grows.. can't bring myself to wear stockings though - and i would overheat working in the hospital with them on anyway!
put cream on bump for the first time last night, smelt nice, but not convinced it will work!! Rachel, i know what you mean about holiday with friends, but nobody cares really, and you could always wear swimming costume or tankini with sarong.. i would love a holiday this year, but we're too broke..

hi, i used bio oil all through my first pregnancy and i didnt get a single stretch mark. and its not genetic with me as i got them when i was younger on my hips and thighs. i rubbed bio oil in every evening after my bath or shower..the trick is to do it when your skins damp as its more supple.also add it to your bath water..its unbelievable amazing.my son was 8lb 6 and i was huge so i thought it was amazing. im pregnant again and ive started using it again.its only about £7 in wilkos and a small bottle lasts about a month.so its quite cheap really.
good luck..and remember..stratchmarks fade and we all have them.xx
