Hello ladies, don't know if youve got any advice or comments for me, feeling very very nervous in this pregnancy I'm not coping very well, I have a little boy and pregnancy was great no worries, no symptoms but didn't know any different, then wheb we next conceived I miscarried, and now clearly more worried than ever. I had an early scan Tuesday and baby was great with a heartbeat, and it made me feel so positive and happy... BUT then my pregnancy symptoms stopped not feeling bloated, my boobs don't hurt, no icky feeling, I feel like I'm only tired because I'm worrying myself silly.
I'm now 6+5? is this usually a bad sign?
thank you xx

HI Beth, Its understandable you feel nervous, it is good your scan went okay. I think some days feel more symptoms than others, with hormones doubling every couple of days. It doesn't always mean it is a bad sign, I think if you are concerned you could try and get another scan. I also had miscarriage last year and am now pregnant and worried constantly. I sometimes feel symptoms are subsiding. I ended up doing another clear blue test today to see if still pregnant and if the conception dates had changed which they had. I think if you are concerned you could always phone the early pregnancy unit for some advice.

Hi thanks so much for your reply!
I did ring the epu the woman just said if I had no bleeding pain etc then everything should be fine especially as baby was there and breathing, but you know when you can't help but think otherwise! She just said they vary from one level to another and it's the body adjusting, just seems very strange that I have gone from boobs hurting (not overly) and bloating to not a lot! I have bloating in evening still!
just worried as my boobs are not as tender!
thanks for your help xx

Hi yeah that's not that helpful. I think it is good you had a good scan and that there is no bleeding, that there was a heartbeat and that it was just recent all of which is encouraging. I think hormones do vary and sometimes can feel symptoms more intense than other. Its hard not to worry. When will your next scan be?

Yes obviously was encouraged by that reassured. It's the 6th may! A while yet :/ xx

That is a while and won't ease you mind at all.I hope your symptoms come back mines seem to come and go. I still had symptoms when I miscarried, didn't know anything was wrong until I had a scan. I thanks worrying either way. I ended up using another clearblue digital to check I was still pregnant and if the hormones were increasing which thankfully they are. It's not easy but try and not get stressed as could make things worse. At the moment all you can do is take three best of care of yourself. Alternatively if you had the money you could get a private scan. I think any other concerns pain etc just keep phoning epu and hopefully they will eventually get you in for a scan. Take care

Thanks again for reply! I think I'm going to book the docs Tuesday! If I used clearblue would that just measure hcg by saying how many weeks I am now? as in if they've progressed? May be worth doing! xx
04/04/2015 at 18:16
I think that's a good idea, go and see GP and they can have a check. Yeah clearblue measures hcg. So mine went from 1-2 to 2-3 weeks which equates 4 to 5 weeks. The next is 3+ which it stops at and could mean 5 weeks up. It would still say if you' ve got high levels hug as if it drooped to 2-3 weeks you would know something may be wrong

Yes I will as I'm anxious too which is why I wanted to go anyway!
i will get a clearblue I think! I'll let you know how that goes thanks hun xx

Does it matter when I do the clearblue it doesn't does it? Xx
04/04/2015 at 19:12
Right I did the clearblue and it says 3+
so hopefully a good sign!
My boobs have started hurting again I think, only thing is I've got some af type pains not awful and they come and go? xx

Sorry I went away and had tea. No clearblue can be used anytime. Well that's good as shows hormones are there and haven't reduced. That's good your getting symptoms I'm sure they say baby attaches about 6 weeks so that may be the cause of any cramps etc. Hopefully that's what it is

Hi didn't want to read and run I had the same problem with symptoms coming and going and was really worried about it my midwife re assured me and said sometimes symptoms do this and I'm just lucky not to suffer as much but also said that they could come back by 8 weeks which is also common. I also had a few pains which was also told they were normal as it's your womb stretching to make room for baby. I know it's tough not to worry hun but try to think positive I'm now 13 +5 xxxxxx
