morning everyone. Haven't got on much due to work, but I have been reading the thread.
Hope the scan went well boris.
Not much to report here. Baby is still moving, but doesn't feel like it is as much. Not sure if maybe baby has grown so has less room to wriggle, so although I'm still feeling movement there's not as many strong kicks. Parents have been fine about the news, and other children are gradually finding out from my class. It's nice not to have to hide my bump at the end of the day, and I'm glad that I got to tell the children rather than parents gossiping. Going shopping for clothes and brastomorrow

Sorry my phone is hard to control where the cursor goes! Didn't mean to stop mid sentence.

Morning bunny, you'll find the kicks get really strong once baby is bigger. The past couple of weeks or so I've had limbs sticking out all over the place lol
Nothing much to report here, A is going away for the weekend with my parents today to Blackpool so I'm looking forward to the peace :-) think this might be my last day on 2nd tri today - scary stuff!
Hope everyone is well

It's nice not to have to hide the bump! Now you've said that baby is going to give you an almighty thud I bet!
Boris - hope all was well yesterday.
AFM - another restless night waiting for news from BW. I think she's getting me back for when I had A and sent her a message to let her know my water had gone at 2pm, then didn't get a chance to text her until midday the next day!
Got more meetings with recruitment agencies today, I'm having one of those weeks where there's plenty to do but because none of it is urgent I'm just feeling the urge to do it.
One week today until scan!
BG - somehow 19 weeks already!
19/04/2013 at 07:19
Missed you there Ally. How are you feeling? I bet A's going to have a fab weekend.
19/04/2013 at 07:44
I'm ok thanks BG, fine if I don't do anything so feel a fraud being off work lol. Hope your meetings go well today
19/04/2013 at 07:54
Bunny, glad you don't have to hide your bump anymore. The kicks will get stronger again, baby might just be having a quiet spell.
Ally, hope A has a fab weekend. Can't believe you are off to 3rd tri already!
BG, hope the meetings today are productive, and yay for scan countdown.
AFM, all well here. Spent lots of time again last night looking at cloth nappies, but when I went to order on one website I couldn't get through their registration page - grr! School run, supermarket shop and swimming lesson for Joshua today, baby still nice and active. Also bought fabric yesterday to try and make a wet bag for nappies so might have a go at that soon.

Bunny - I get busy days and quiet days movement wise, I go by as long as I feel something a few times a day then all is good!
Ally - hope A has nice weekend, enjoy the rest.
BG - I see you heard from BW eventually! I hate recruitment agencies, they are currently not doing a great job in finding someone for my maternity cover!
AFM - flipping cot didnt arrive, H phoned and could tell they'd made a boo boo, supposed to be arriving at my grans today before 0930. Put my 16 and 26 week bump photos together today, I thought I had a bumpa t 16 weeks, I sooooo didnt! Not a lot else to report, hopefully a quiet work day and a quiet evening for me.

Boris hope scan was good yesterday.
I have a mad busy weekend ahead - shooting a wedding tomorrow, 4 photo shoots to edit, work 3 days next week then off on hols for 10 days so today will be spent washing, packing and sorting... with a trip to the beach in between for G to run off some energy!!
STILL waiting to hear back from midwife a week and a half later regarding anti D and GTT which were supposed to be done at 28 weeks but we're away then. Will have to give them a call and chase up this morning. Is everyone else's midwives office as flaky and crap as mine?
(26+1 - eek!)
19/04/2013 at 09:10
Dinx - mine is pants, I'm surprised youve missed me moaning about her! I have sympathy. Were away for week 28 so I asked about whooping cough and whether to have my 28 weeks appointment before or after? She just shrugged! Aaaaaargh!
19/04/2013 at 09:28
Boris - Hope the scan went well
Bunny - Good luck shopping tomorrow
Ally - hope you have a nice weekend x
BG - hope your meetings go well.
Margot - You are really creative, I like the idea of a wet bag!
PC - sorry about the cot, hope it arrives today.
Dinx - Ive actually never had to call my midwife's office so i wouldnt know, but i presume she would be like that as she is in my actual meetings with her.
AFM - i have a sore left hip from sleeping on my left all night but I am feeling the baby a lot more now which i am enjoying i just wish it was stronger, but I know i will get there. My H keeps asking me when he will be able to feel it, he never asked this last time...... It is so sweet x
19/04/2013 at 09:43
bunny - hoorah for clothes and bra shopping!!
Ally - I've never been to Blackpool. Have a fab time! Off to 3rd tri, dum dum duuuum!
BG - it's weird interviewing for your own replacement isn't it? Don't want them to make a mess of anything, but don't want them to be too good either!
margot - what nappies do you think you'll go for? I've got 10 tots bots and two little lambs. Not sure what else to buy really. Probably some all in ones.
PC - shame about the cot, how frustrating. It's weird looking back at the old bump pics, i think i just got chunky to start off with!
Dinx - where are you off to?
PS - hopefully your hubs will feel it soon!
AFM - came into work with odd shoes on, so that was nice. I've got an appointment in my work calendar at 11.30 saying "private appointment" and i have no idae what it's for. I think it must be seeing my obstetritian again having seen my cardiologist last week, which means another trip back to my car to get my white notes FFS.

My mw is just rubbish. At my 16 week appointment she got her little wheel thing out to calculate gestation. She seemed to be struggling so I said "16+1" to help her out. She persisted with the wheel and decided I was 28 weeks, then 26, then 18, before finally just taking my word for it! My sister has same mw - arranged to have booking in at the health centre rather than home (pre 12 weeks). Sister travelled half an hour to surgery for her appointment to find midwife had gone off to her home. Loads more examples where those came from too, frustrating!!
pombear am pmsl that you went into work with odd shoes on :)
We're off on a little jolly - we'd booked a weekend in Devon so decided to tack a week with rellies in Worcester onto the end of that. Now H has to work in Bristol Thurs/Fri so G and I are going up with him and will entertain ourselves while he's in meetings, starting our holiday a little earlier, which is nice! (Although means I've got a crazy busy weekend trying to get everything sorted to go).

Sounds fun Dinx, were off to Dorset next Sunday for a week! Lovely little B&B, cant wait, hope the weather warms up a bit though!
19/04/2013 at 12:40
Have we heard from Boris about her scan? Wasn't sure if I missed another thread on it somewhere?
Bunny - nice to be able to show your bump off a bit more, I'm sure the baby will give you a few healthy kicks soon :)
Ally - it's good that the rest is helping you to feel better.
BG - hope your recruitment goes well, not long til scan now!
Margot - that's annoying about the nappy website. You are making so many things it seems, we need to see pictures of everything!
PC - sorry that you're still having problems with the cot, that's so bad. Cool about the bump pictures though, I was looking at me at 6 week and then at 16 weeks yesterday and although I don't have an obvious bump, it's nice to see progress :)
dinx - sorry that your MW is so rubbish, exactly what you DON'T need grr. Your trip sounds lovely though, I love Devon and am currently trying to persuade H to go there this summer.
PS - I'm sure you will be getting plenty of strong kicks soon, bless your H :)
PB - oh that did make me giggle about your shoes, sorry. If it's any consolation, I nearly left the house the other day with makeup on only one eye...
AFM - off to see MW for 16 week check up in a bit. I have this afternoon off so am going out for lunch with my Mum and sister for Mum's birthday which will be nice. Not much to report otherwise.
Hello to anyone else that follows!

19/04/2013 at 16:03
Really pleased everything went well for you Boris. I take my hat off to those of you who aren't finding out gender, I am so impatient I could never manage it.
As for me, well I'm still in bed. That's a week now. I am feeling better but just having a shower and washing my hair earlier on left me absolutely exhausted. I'm really pushing it this evening though as I need to go to Toys R Us and get a couple of presents for parties that Zoe is going to this weekend so will see how I fair after that.
