Been awake since 0319 [taps fingers!!!] combination of worrying myself sick a bout the upcoming scan and of pregnancy insomnia , currently searching for a hotel in Glasgow for the commonwealth games which is proving harder than I thought if I want a single room it's fine, pesky husband and children lol!
Lots of movements yesterday which is reassuring after a quiet few days, scan tue and h is off so if its good news we are going to go for a lovely lunch, not booking anything just incase we are held up in a relatives room for hours on end, but fx all ok :-/
L spending 2 days in year 1 which is much more structured than reception, but its his teacher from nursery so he's v chuffed all though she's split his little gang up with them all in different groups which is vvv clever as they are all very boisterous together , Isaac opted for no nap yesterday I'm hoping its a one off, he's not allowed to stop napping yet ,
working all weekend, boo! But thinking if the money on mat leave
take care all x

Ah you beat me again this morning RF! This waking up early malarkey really sucks, doesn't it? I might not be able to get online much next week so I want to wish you all the best for Tues, will be thinking of you.
AFM I can even say I'm awake early with excitement for our holiday as I'm usually awake around this time these days! Got some last minute things to pack this morning and then we're off. I'm not sure how much I'll make it on, if at all, next week so I hope you all keep well. MrsL enjoy your holiday too.
Hi to those who follow x

TRF- scan day almost here. Im hoping the movements are helping make it slightly more reassuring.
WG-have an amazing time! Cant remember where you are going.
AFM, graduating uni today after i became i dr last yr (not medical), so up to get ready. Hoping the maternity skirt i bought fits as not had a sec to try! No sign of movements yet, despite lots of concentration!

Rf I'm hoping that the weekend goes quickly for you so you can get to the scan! Waiting is horrible. Sounds like l is going to be happy with his new teacher and I'm sure he will make more friends in his new class. Good luck with finding a hotel!
WG enjoy your holiday, wish I was going with you!
Rio have fun at graduating! What kind of doctor have you become? I didn't feel movements this time until 17& half weeks.
Sports day and open morning today. Parents get to walk around the school so as I'm potentially covering a class in September I've got to be in that room to meet and greet any parents that want to say hi. I've had lots of excited children tell me they are in my class next year I don't think some of them have twigged that its only for a few weeks as I'm having a baby!

WG - enjoy your break
Rio - not really reassuring tbh, movements don't mean anything in terms of anatomy/structure/anomalies etc. congratulations on your graduation, hope the day goes well
Bunny - no they are all still in the same class (only 1 class per year) and they all live immediately next to the school so they aren't truley split just whilst they work. Hope sports day goes well. I just found out yesterday Lucas and isaacs are on the sane day...at the same time

Rio I'm sure movements won't be long now
Bunny oh bless the kids, hope u have a nice weekend
AFM Im 23 weeks today time is flying. Just waiting for H to wake up and get the last bits packed. Our flights later this afternoon so hopefully we can sort the house out a bit before we leave. I hate coming back to a messy flat!
Speak to you all in a week x

Morning, sorry haven't been around much, I was trying not to use my phone too much while we were away.
RF - hope the weekend goes quickly for you at work. Are you looking forcity centre hotels or just wherever you can get?
WG - have a great holiday. It's going to be quiet on here next week with all the holidaymakers away!
Rio - congratulations on your graduation
Bunny - hope it's not too busy today
MrsL - have a great holiday, very jealous!!
AFM - back after visiting the ILs. We had a good week but glad to be home for a rest! Looks like a horrid day here today so I'm
Not sure what we're up to. I quite fancy going out for a nice lunch but we've eaten out a lot over the past week so don't think H will be keen!
15 weeks today

Mrs L- hope u have a fab hol
Dd - no, we were going to stay with my parents but there's just not any room for the 4 of us and me and my sister don't speak so would be stressful, I totally forgot about actually needing somewhere to stay  we think (frantically xs fingers!!!!!) that my hs work will pay, he's going to tie it in with a meeting in livingston so Iv been looking to see prices if we need to pay ourselves and also availability if what we could end up with. I'm not sure if we will need to stay near livingston since that's where his meeting will be, so I was looking at hotels in Glasgow but also all surrounding areas too but h said leave it as his company have hotels they use regularly but I don't think there's going to be room at the inn :weep:, h joked that he will ask them to arrange a campsite pitch....erm NO!!!
O I'd go out for lunch, may as well if you have been a lot this week, start again next week with meals at home lol x

Rf - I know what you mean. We're just back from a week with MIL, it was getting a bit tight with us 4 and her, will only get worse when we're a family of 5, because we live so far from her, when we do see her it's always for quite a few days and I find it too much.
There's 2 premier inns just down the road from me and I just had a look out of interest picking 2 days in the games period - OMG, nearly £400 for a family room! And that's just a premier inn on the outskirts. That's ridiculous! I hope your H's work will cover the cost!
04/07/2014 at 12:42
I'm not bothered so much about meals at home, more the cost! I think we've spent a small fortune this week.i have tried telling H that it's our holiday but we'd have been cheaper going abroad with what we've spent!
04/07/2014 at 12:53
City centre hotels are about £570 lol! There's a premier inn in East Kilbride for £338  ridiculous when we paid £98 for 2 nights last year!!
04/07/2014 at 12:57
It is ridiculous! You can have our spare room for £100 ;)
