Ahhh, mon, enjoy seeing your little baby again.
TGIF! What a long week this has been!!
I feel like poop on a stick today. Dreadful nights sleep, woken at 3 am with a migraine. It's worn off a bit now but I feel really disorientated and I've got a stonking headache today. Boooo. Can't wait to get home from work tonight.
Got to go out tonight too, my mum is in manchester with some friends so we're going into meet them for drinks and dinner. Last thing I want to do really but it the last time I'll see my mum before Xmas.

Monnie - oooo very exciting, hope you don't giggle like I did hehe belly wobbling about :D will you post a pic?
Imp - so sorry to hear your suffering, I know all to well what that's like. I hope it continues to ease. Have fun with your mum xx

Monnie, yay for seeing the baby again. Post pics if you can!
Imp, so sorry you're feeling rubbish, I hope the headache improves massively over the course of the day and you're feeling more like being social and out tonight.
LeeLee, *waves* how are you doing today?
Afm, all good this morning. J slept till after the alarm, which was lovely. Went out for a nice meal with H last night to celebrate the scan all being well and ate lots of yummy food - it's quite a treat to go out with just H actually, it doesn't happen as often as it should. I'm off with J today, so probably a mooch to the shops to get a present for a 1st birthday we're going to tomorrow, then baby swimming this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Monnie - Enjoy, make sure you show us a pic after :-D
Imp - Poor you! Surprised you're at work if you have a migraine :-( Sounds like you need to be rested up and in bed!
Spikey - Meal sounds lovely. Enjoy your day off!
AFM - Woke up in the middle of the night feeling really queasy and was a little sick. Managed to wake H up in the process so he gave me cuddles and back strokes to help me to get back to sleep (what a gem!). Bless him. Just called the doctors and put my name down for midwife! They said she should call me later today to organise booking appointment.... won't hold my breath that it will actually be today though!

Hi Leelee :) Hope you're ok.
SG- It sounds like you had a lovely night with H. Enjoy today!
Pep- Sorry you've been sick, but yay for symptoms. I hope you hear bcd from the MW soon.
AFM- I have given in and come home from work. I am NEVER off sick and I don't like it But I feel terrible. I'm in bed typing this and soon i intend to be catching some zzzz's!

Well moosh was perfect except he was upside down and back to front haha, and wasn't in the mood for pictures! Measuring 13+4
22/11/2013 at 15:39
Ahhh, naughty baby!
Can you still have the nuchal done on Tuesday?
22/11/2013 at 15:53
Monnie - That is so amazing! Lovely to see.
Midwifes called, my appointments on 16th Dec. They asked the date of my last AF and I said 8.5 weeks ago, but I was fairly sure I wasn't that far along because of irregular cycles. As it happens, my booking in appointment would be 11w 6d if they dated by my AF (but 9w 2d by my dates). I'm tempted to not share that I will have had a private early scan with them in the hope they might send me for an early scan to date me (and I have another opportunity to check everything is OK!) Is that naughty?

Pep I suspect that they'll book your 12 week scan in anyway ( using lmp dates) and you'll probably not be 12 weeks at that point, so you'll get to see baby again anyway. No lies necessary.

Monnie, lovely photo, even if blurry, it's always nice to see the bean :) as imp asked, though, if you're 13+4 today, won't Tuesday be too late for the nuchal?? Did you ask when you had the scan today if it would be alight? I thought the cutoff was 13+6 (so Sunday)....
Imp, I'm glad you went home early, it's not worth making yourself worse for the sake of one day. Hopefully the weekend will set you to rights.
Spikey, your day with J sounds great, did you get a present for the party?
Pep, sorry you're feeling poorly, but thank god for your H! When is your private scan? You should get dates from that, but if you want an extra one then by all means, keep it a secret :). I'm surprised they haven't booked you a scan already for sometime before Christmas.. Or will they books that when you book in?
AFM I am completely knackered, but from having an awesome day. Went out and browsed the shops, met H for an amazing lunch, then went to an exhibition of Renaissance sculpture, then hit up the champs élysées christmas market. I found a bib that said 'baby Christmas' and had to buy it! Also got some macaroons, because they are delicious and I need to take advantage of them being so readily available while I can. Now I'm collapsed on the sofa with Wispa. No baby updates from me, sadly. Next step is to book in for the 16 wk appointment, but as it's at my GP surgery I can't make it until 3 weeks prior, and I have only one day I'm in London to do it!!

Monnie - awesome to see bubs again
Imp - I really hope you're feeling better and if not I hope you get a good sleep tonight and feel better tomorrow.
LL - hey lovely. Hope you're ok
Spikey - sounds good - long lies, eating and shopping!!!
Pep - I agree with Imp, you'll get your 12 week scan booked and you might just need to go back again. No harm done with that. Also I noticed you saying the other day about really bad cramps. I had severe ones during the night when I was 5+5. I've never felt anything like it and was sure I was having a mc. I was scared to move but eventually thought I should go to the bathroom to check for bleeding. There was nothing. I then spent about 20 minutes lying on the bathroom floor as the cramps were so painful and they were making me feel like I was going to throw up. I had fairly strong cramps again at 6+6 but not as bad but, again during the night which woke me and lasting 20-30 minutes. Hopefully this isn't a weekly occurrence!!!!
Wispa - gosh you've been busy. No wonder you're tired. Hope you've got your feet up.
AFM - 7+5 today. I've had slight nausea on and off this week but nothing like it was last week. Still not sure if this is good or bad. Boobs still sore, sometimes to the point I think I could cry. Still dizzy at times, still got v mild cramps at times. I'm not being knocked out with the symptoms though so still extremely uncertain about everything. Only a few days until my early scan now so I'm glad it's nearly here and I can get to see what's happening (or not happening!!). I also got my 12 week scan date in for 18th December which is great because I really wanted to have it before Xmas. I'll be 11+3 by their dates, 11+1 by my dates. Not sure it that will be too early or ok?? Wispa, you had a scan round about these dates didn't you???

We can only do the nuchal if baby moves, if it doesn't move we will have for rely on bloods only. I did ask and they said Wednesday is probably the latest I can have it, so it's fine. But we may have to go by bloods only because he needs to be totally up the other way and round the other way
22/11/2013 at 17:38
Did they give you any tips to move the bag around?
22/11/2013 at 17:53
Just said some walks over the weekend? At this stage there isn't much we can do, she tried to move baby today and jiggly him around but he wasn't budging
CA, mine was 11+2 which was bang on my dates going by ovulation, and they said I just made it for the nuchal, but I reckon one day earlier would be fine. She couldn't get a clear view of the brain and bladder, though, so it was an incomplete scan in that sense and they said they would offer me a second scan a week later to get everything, but that closer to 11 weeks is best for the nuchal measurement. I couldn't go back for another scan, though, because I'm back in Paris now. Oh well!

Thanks Wispa. I'll just see how it goes then and if I need to go back then I'm fine with that. A week later is Xmas week so not what would happen there. Cross that bridge when we come to it xx

Thanks Candy. I did look that post up actually as I remember you getting some reassuring replies. I've had really painful cramps now on Wednesday night, Thursday on the drive home from work, Friday night and this morning. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't panicking. This mornings made me raid the cupboard for paracetamol. Baths really help and as soon as I'm in / out I'm fine again. I feel so frightened, 2 weeks until my scan feels like a lifetime. I've had cramps since the beginning these seem to have increased pain wise. I'm wondering (hoping) that it could be worse because of gas? Without giving details, I felt like I just needed to let air out of my belly with last nights cramps (and I think I've read online that cramps can be intensified with constipation / UTI's). Going to increase fibre today and see if that helps.
Lack of other symptoms doesn't help. Tiredness was my big symptom and I don't think I feel as tired now, but then I could just be use to the feeling and I am going to bed earlier still so generally getting more sleep than I would have when I was super tired.
