what carbs are you having? I was told that its ok forme to have some, but not really given an idea of what some is. I know brown bread is better than white, but apart from that im a bit clueless. tbh.
when you have evening dinners, what are you eating if you cant have potatoes? or are you having them but just a smaller amount?

I followed a low GI diet when I had gestational diabetes. Carbs I had were brown pasta, Vogel's soya and linseed bread or sunflower and oat bread, oatcakes, one or two new potatoes, homemade oven baked chips and wholewheat chapattis and parathas. I avoided white pasta, noodles, every other type of bread, all rice, baked, roast and mashed potatoes, couscous and other crackers.
It's amazing how many non-Indian meals a chapatti will go with when that's the best option!

Brown pitta has had little effect of my bloods.
I've been having potatoes, but boiled rather than mashed.
Tonight we're having turkey stir fry. Noodles are really low GI.
