When did your H's feel baby kicking for the first time? Sonographer told me last week that I had an anterior placenta when I asked why I still wasn't getting 'proper' kicks. I am sure I have seen my bump move and have definitely felt little kicks but when I get H to put his hand on my stomach he can't feel them....or baby boy stops! Just curious really, I can't wait for him to feel baby

H didn't feel anything until around 27 weeks (I remember as we were on holiday), I started feeling it around 24 weeks.

H first felt something around 25-26 weeks I think,

Thanks ladies, so not too long then hopefully! The kicks are definitely starting to get more obvious to me x

It feels like they will never feel them but soon enough you'll be getting nice little strong boots to the tummy :)

i had flutterings from around 15 weeks, then proper kicks at 21 weeks and H could feel them straight away, now she doesn't stop!

Flutters around 22 weeks but not full on kicks till much later & couldn't be felt from outside till late 20's I think. Then I felt her a lot more towards the end when I'd heard you felt them less.

Don't have an anterior placenta, but my H couldn't feel the kicks properly until 2/3 weeks ago, so about 25 weeks. It was definitely after my 24 week appt, though. Now he can feel them loads, and some are really hard, like the baby is kicking his hand away.
According to one book I read you can 'play' with the baby when it kicks by tapping somewhere else on your tummy and saying 'kick, baby, kick'. Supposedly the baby gets used to the repitition and does it, but it seems a bit hit and miss to me.

With E it was close to 30 weeks before he felt anything.

I think it was about 26 weeks before he felt anything. Maybe slightly later. I wasn't feeling big movements until about 23/24 weeks.

Thanks for sharing ladies! H might get a proper kick for Christmas then if he's lucky! Hahaha!

I had flutters from around 16 weeks, small kicks from around 20-21 weeks and bigger kicks that could be felt from outside from around 30 weeks (both H and I were gutted as he was dying to join in the fun!) - like Blackkat I felt more as it got closer to the end x

H didn't feel anything until around 26weeks. Only from around 30weeks have I felt full on movement myself, before it was just the odd kick now and then and was hard to keep track of. Hopefully won't be long until H feels baby too :)

At my 12 week appointment, my ultrasound technician also told me i have an anterior placenta, I'm 17 weeks and 4 days now and have been feeling flutters for a week now, they aren't very routine or consistent, some days i might not feel anything, guess it depends on the location of the baby inside and it usually occurs after eating. I'm hoping to feel real kicks asap!
