baby outs to everyone that needs them!
i have a request for some positive vibes if I may, maternity leave not quite going to plan!
monday saw my H at a hospital appointment ( this is where I need the vibes)
midwife appointment on Tuesday, she couldn't tell position of baby so i had a presentation scan yesterday, baby not breech so all ok but concerned over growth so back for growth scan today.i thought I just got to eat cake and drink tea!

Mrs P- sending lots of positive vibes for your hubby, hope he's ok?!! Im sure all will be fine at your scan, do they think our measuring large or small? These babies sure are out to test us!!
I've got MW this morning, am feeling so grotty and uncomfortable with horrific period pains, just want it to be over now but realistically could still be here for a while yet! I was stressing yesterday as had limited baby movement, turns out he was just being lazy as he picked up last night and is going mad this morning. I hope MW gives me some good news as to whats happening, if she says hes 'free' I think ill actually cry! Ha

Mrs P I hope your H is ok?? Sorry you needed a presentation scan, that's what happened to me last week, its scary to think that something could change your best laid pans at this stage isn't it. Glad baby is the right way up! Oh and maternity leave tends to get very busy I've found so you need to grab your cake-and-tea moments where you can.
Gemini I hope that the midwife can give you some positive news today and that your little one decides that today is the day!

BTW not much planned for me today - got a plumber coming round, then I'm going to the dentist and I might wrap some presents. Not very exciting but I could do with a fairly quiet day tbh. The pelvic pressure is getting worse and I can barely move at all now - had to get H to put my pj's on for me lat night as I couldn't lift my legs up towards my hips to get the trousers on cos it caused too much pain where baby's head is. I hope this baby hurries up and comes out soon!

I've been rubbish at getting on here lately, works been manic. I had meetings all day yesterday :(
Mrs P - I'm sure everything is fine but best to get checked out. Good luck!
Gemini - Ooh hopefully the pains are doing something! Baby out vibes to you :)
AFM - 29 weeks today! Time is really going fast now. Really need to start thinking about the nursery now so hopefully H will get on with finishing the dining room this weekend so we can start it. Worked out I only have 8 working Mondays left now which is a nice feeling!!

Morning Penny! Make sure you rest up today, my SPD is horrific so really feel your pain :-(
Hiya Mrs V! Wow, only 8 mondays left at work, that'll go quickly!

Morning Mrs Bass- eeks only 2 days until your DD! Try taking your rings off, it could be the cause, especially if your getting hot during the night. My wedding ring came off months ago but have managed to keep my ER on.
Enjoy shopping and coffee!

Mrs P - I hope your H is okay, sending mucho vibes! Hope all goes well at the presentation scan.
Gemini - baby vibes for you!!
Penny - that sounds so uncomfortable. Hopefully it won't be long for you now!
Mrs V - hello! That's me just arrived on 3rd tri so nice to see a familiar face! How exciting to start the nursery decorating!
Mrs B - enjoy your shopping and coffee! Defo worth trying taking the rings off to see if that helps.
AFM - Well it's true what they say about trimesters....I felt fab throughout 2nd tri and now the tiredness has hit me again like a sledgehammer! Plus I'm back to getting up multiple times a night! Ah the joys! Think I'm coming down with the lurgy too....moan, moan, moan!! Only next week to go at work before 2 weeks off so that is something to very much look forward to!

Hi everyone, finally wfh today and been able to get on to catch up with you all, but am usually lurking if not here!!
Mrs P- Hope your little one is okay, they do like to worry us! And looooads of vibes for your H.
Gemini- FX for good news at the MW, will be keeping fingers and toes crossed for you.
Penny- Poor you :( I hope it's a sign that baby is getting ready to make an appearance, take it easy today.
Mrs V- Hurrah to only 8 Mondays left, it'll fly by!!!
Mrs B- Enjoy your coffee and xmas shopping. Numb hand doesn't sound fun, could be right about the rings??
SP- Lovely to see you in third tri! I know just what you mean about the tiredness, it suddenly hits again doesn't it! I hope you feel better soon, take it easy if you can!
AFM NCT tonight- learning how to put a nappy on so quite an essential class! I'm wfh today thank goodness... work has been so full on with training my maternity that I am just exhausted. But I finish up next Friday so very exciting times and only a week or so to get through before I can start relaxing and enjoy my maternity leave (having said that you ladies are making me reconsider what ML is about.... I thought it was lie-ins, tea, cake, being a lazy so and so but it doesn't sound like it!! ;p)

just got to the office and don't have time to catch up with you all, hope you are all ok though and i am sending baby out vibes for those who need them
had a manic morning, went to consultants and they couldnt find a heartbeat so got sent for a scan, baby is fine just being naughty! my placenta has moved up so thats good news! also the consultant said that the midwife i saw should never of told me that i cannot have an epidural or spinal and will need to be asleep for C section as she is not qualified to tell me that! so i have an appointment in 4 weeks to see the anesthetic team at the labour ward for them to make a desicion and to discuss my options!
now at work trying to catch up on emails and we have out work christmas party today so got to go up to london and i really cannot be bothered :-/

Sweetpea- sorry your feeling rubbish! Not long until you get a break!
Rose- enjoy your NCT class!
NLH- glad all was well at the scan, how scary for you!
I'm back from the MW, baby still has 1/5 of engaging to do. I'm booked in for my sweep on Tuesday then if nothing it'll be induction on the 22nd ( next sunday) I really dont want the induction to happen if it can be helped but I keep thinking, at the most its only 10 more days! :-)

Massive apologies for not coming back to you yesterday - the midwife was running so late, i was late meeting my mum off the train and the day just ran away from me - had my riding club AGM in the evening (for which my Mum was coming to babysit LO). AGM was fab, got a few surprised looks from people i haven't seen for a few months and the chairman introduced my speech (I'm on committee and 'do'' all the IT stuff for the club) by pointing out my bump, querying if there was a doctor in the house ..... or failing that a Vet. There was a vet, she thought it was funny, phew!!
Anyway, midwife said baby's head is at the brim (of pelvis) - i thought he'd dropped at bit - nice to get it confirmed tho - however she did say 2nd babys don't always engage before labour.... (actually my notes from last time indicate that baby was only 3/5engnaged the day before labour began, eeek!). AND I dont have a UTI for once. HURRAH. I have banned DTDing, caffeine and been drinking gallons of cranberry/squash/decaff tea and it all seems to have worked ..... sure H would like to know which of those 3 worked best, LOL

MrsP - Vibes a plenty hope your H is okay
Gem - Baby out vibes!
Penny - LOL at your H putting your PJs on. Reminds me i had to get H to take my knickers off when i was in labour & pushing last time and the gas+air had me giggling & joking around that it was 9months since that had happened, ooops! (Sure the midwives heard it before?)
MrsV - woohooo for 8 working mondays, excellent countdown method!
MrsB - it could be a touch of carpel tunnel syndrome?
Sweetpea - the nightly wakings / insommina in 3rd tri are soooo annoying :-(
Rose - enjoy the NCT nappy training!
NLH - naughty baby, glad all is well, keep us informed on the epidural / spinal / GA situation! It is possible to do it all on just gas+air & TENs .... i did last time and had a 9lb10'er :-)

Had growth scan, all is ok but baby still very small. He's just on the 10th centile, which is consistent with growth scan at 25 weeks. Do you think that's an excuse to eat more biscuits?
12/12/2013 at 17:24
NLH- that must have been scary! Glad babybwas just being a pickle!
Gemini- 10 days, eeks! Ive heard lots of positive sweep stories! I haveca feeling there are going to be a few BAs next week!
HF- hope u've had a less busy day today!
Mrs P- defo, and cake and doughnuts!
Had my coffee date, finished my xmas shopping and got a mobile phone upgrade (no idea how it works!) And I've definitely over done it, cramps, sharp pains and a very wrigglie (aggravated? !) Baby!
Will be sitting on my back side for the evening!
Great to see Chimps BA!
Haven't heard from weeme in a while!
12/12/2013 at 18:05
Thanks Mrs Bass. Am hoping so, trying not to panic about induction as I know lots of people have had positive ones. Just hope he gets a wriggle on and I have a BA before next sunday! :-)
Make sure you rest up tonight!
I was wondering about Weemee earlier, dont think she had a PP?
