Up early (and LO isnt!) so thought i'd start the thread for once. FInally bucketing with rain here. Hurrah. Off to LO 2year review this morning. No sure what to expect but I know its a group thing so probably a talk from HV on potty training, speaking & other things 2+years do? They will do her height & weight too (Looking forward to finding out if her height is still on the 95th percentile - I'm 6ft1, so expecting her to be tall aswell!)
Thoughts are with Imp today

Morning HF. Hope you find the 2 year review of some use.
AFM currently still in bed hurray!! Isla slept at my parents last night, I can't remember the last time I got up past 6.30! And I've got the day to myself. I'm going to prepare tea then probably venture to the shops to look for a few maternity bits. Hope everyone else has a nice day x

Hope the 2 year review goes ok HF.
Mrs B - Enjoy a day to yourself :-)
All fine with me, had some rain in the night so it's feeling nice and cool. Did suffer with leg cramps again in the night which wasn't so good!
Thinking of Imp today xx

HF- good luck with the two year review. Hope its helpful for you.
MrsB- enjoy your day to yourself. Flash us any nice maternity bits you buy.
BE- Glad its feeling a little cooler for you. Ouch, leg cramps are really painful.
Dizzyduck - welcome! Don't think ive seen you post before. Everything is new and unknown when your having your first baby. I learn new things all the time.
AFM- Going to try and get this house cleaned top to bottom today. Didn't get much done yesterday as i just felt so drained. Aquanatal tonight. Then I've got a pregnancy massage tomorrow and having my hair done.
Also thinking of imp. I wish her all the best. X

Hello ladies. Not been on here for a while but on summer hols now, hurrah! Had scan on tuesday, all is good. I'm 21 weeks today! Lo is off to nursery this morning so off to get my hair done. Thinking of imp. X

Good luck for your scan next week DD, I loved my 20 week scan(s) because you get to see so much more of your baby! When do you go on maternity leave? I'm counting down the days as well - including today, I have 23 days left of work and 89 days until due date, because I have so much annual leave to use up!
Hope the 2 year review goes well HF, let us know what they discuss!
Mrs B, hurrah for a day to yourself!
BE, do you generally suffer from leg cramps? I used to, and 'cured' it by increasing the salt in my diet and calcium (took tablets as I don't have milk with cereal, tea or coffee!) and haven't suffered for years, but last night I woke up 3 times with leg cramps! I don't want to increase the salt in my diet as I'm also trying to minimise swelling in my hands and feet, and I already drink a glass of milk a day - maybe the babies are taking so much calcium off us now we need even more?
AFM, I feel full of snot this morning - I don't know if I have a cold coming or if it's hayfever. I hardly slept and feel exhausted but have to get my *** in year and get to work! Baby is kicking lots throughout the day now which is nice and reassuring, but sometimes the kicks are rather hard! I had a lovely evening last night playing with my 2y/o horse, she's so bright and learns quickly - I can't wait to break her in; just need to time my next pregnancy right so I can do it between babies!

Full of thoughts for Imp today :(
AFM - 21 weeks today! Feeling like I'm starting to look pregnant at last! Bump took ages to appear! Booked my 25 week midwife appointment for August too. Feeling really full up at the moment if that makes sense guess its baby squishing up all my insides!
And I appear to be having a baby banana!

Morning everyone! Hope everyone has been well?!
HorseFan- Has the rain cleared the air a bit?
MrsB- enjoy your day to yourself, sounds like fun!
BumpEnvy- I woke up the other night and got leg cramps, it's only happened once though, is it happening lots to you?
Hi Dizzy Duck- I have mine today and im really nervous! I think its perfectly natural, especially with the unknown!
hi Mrs P
mummysimpson- sounds like you have a great day planned tomorrow, it will be lush, especially after a day cleaning!!
Hi Mermaid- everyone is getting their hair done! I have another week until my apointment and it really needs doing!
Mrs50s- im full of snot this morning too! I think its just hayfever though, it always seems to be worse int he morning so hopefully it will clear up soon! Are you thinking bout the next baby already?!!
Hi Rosy Lee- I get really full up after eating recently, i imagine the food and baby are fighting over whatever space is left!
AFM- in the office for a couple of hours this morning as I have my 20 week scan at 12! Excited about seeing the baby again but really nervous too, hope they are doing ok in there!
I don't need a fulll bladder for this one do i?
We get the keys to our new house on monday! im really excited about that but we still have so much to pack and we have guests this weekend! Bad timming!
My thoughts are going to be with Imp today too, as they have been most of the week. Can't imagine how she must be feeling.
25/07/2013 at 09:21
HF- Hope the 2 year review goes well and you find it useful.
MrsB- Have a lovely wander around the shops. Let us know if you find any bargains later!
BE- I keep stirring in the night, go to stretch my legs and stop just as I feel a crampy feeling! So far I've only had it really bad twice and it's awful. :(
Dizzy- you will be amazed at how clear everything is at your 20 week scan. Good luck for next week and enjoy your last few days off!
MrsPengiun- Booo to being at work. Hope it goes quickly!
MS- I can't say cleaning the house sounds like much fun but looks like you have lots to look forward to tomorrow! Bliss.
Mermaid- Enjoy your day getting you hair done.
Mrs50s- Jealous that you only have 23 working days left! I have 44 after today. Ticking them off my calendar daily now! haha Hope the leg cramps bugger off for you too.
Rosy- I know what you mean about the full feeling. Some times it doesn't feel too bad but last night I felt like I was going to pop!
AFM- Not much to report. Baby still moving lots and I have been a little more tired than usual this week. Don't know whether is it down to the heat/ getting up 239874927354 times in the night to wee or just general pregnancy tiredness. Hope everyone has a lovely day today.
Thinking of Imp and Mr Imp today xxxx

Mrs Bass- Missed you there! No you don't need a full bladder for 20 week scan. I went bursting for the toilet and was sent to the loo before I went in! Doh. Very exciting that you get the keys on Monday and I'm sure all the packing will work out just fine, just chuck it all in a van! haha
25/07/2013 at 09:58
Thanks Sam, I had so many informtation sheets for the 12 week scan but just got given an appointment for this! Do I have bllod pressure and bloods taken again or just the scan?! no idea what to expect!
yeah it will be fine, it's just all the stuff under beds and in the attic we havent thought about yet! H has the whole week off so he is doing most of the hard work, I just have monday morn and friday off so I just get to do the exciting stuff! :-)
Your tiredness is probably a combination of all of those things! Im sure the bigger the baby gets, the more tired you get!
25/07/2013 at 10:16
Sorry, on phone and I can't scroll to do personals. Mrs B good luck today lovey, will be lovely to see baby again!
I'm also thinking of Imp and Mr Imp today, she's been in my thoughts every day since last week and hope she gets through today ok. She's such a lovely person and I so wish there was something I could do for her.
AFM few pains in bump today, nothing major, just a little pain here and there. I was sick again this morning, I was fine up until toothbrush time and up it all came, it was like something from the exorcist! Nice!
Just wanted to ask, those of you this side of the 20 week scan, have you bought stuff for the baby yet? I'd like to start, even for bits and boobs like the room temperature thing but not sure if I should wait? I've noticed alot of places have July offers on and was tempted!
25/07/2013 at 10:27
Mrs Bass- No I didn't see a midwife at 20 weeks so just had my scan and went! Was much quicker than the 12 week scan. Looking forward to seeing your update later :)
Yes, I think you are right about the tiredness. Some weeks it seems to hit me more than others (not that I'm staying up past 11pm any night any more anyway! haha)
25/07/2013 at 10:53
missddeedee- i gave in to temptation, i got a few baby grows in the sale and bibs and socks (they are so tiny, i couldnt say no!)
I decided to stop and wait until after 20 week scan but i was shopping with my mum at the weekend and spotted some bits. she got them for us though so that I didnt break my promise! she got 2 grow bags and a think winter coat styp baby grow.
Sam- I cant rememebr the last time i was awake after 11pm! I normally fall asleep on the sofa between 8 & 9pm!
I will update later but it probably wont be until this evening!
25/07/2013 at 12:51
Miss DeeDee, I swore I would wait until the 20 week scan but caved and bought my pram last night. Also bought a room temp egg thing and a Tour de France and Paris baby grows, oops!
25/07/2013 at 13:12
Oooh what pram did you get Mrs P?!? I'm looking at the room temp egg thing and some 'essentials' like babygrows and muslins. Also, does anyone have a 'must have' list?
25/07/2013 at 13:55
I have a think about a must have list for you MDD, although posting that query on main board will get lots of answers! First time around we didn't buy anything until after 20week scan (we bought somebabygros on way home from it in a little celebration!), I haven't anything to buy this time, have everything already including nappies as we used cloth from birth with Lucy. Boo!
