Isis and Mrs V how are today? Any news? WE has the pain settled? AR I was glad to read you spoke to the school and are getting signed off. Is this a home day for you?
4am seems to be my new wake up time. Yesterday I managed to read till 6 and then fall back asleep till 8 which isn't too bad. No sign of baby D moving despite best efforts but defo feeling comforted by lots of positive real life experiences. Visiting a friend and her newborn this morning followed by a haircut in the afternoon
Hope this finds everyone else well and healthy!

Hey Seeetpea, those timings would frustrate me but you gotta roll with it I guess! Hope that baby of yours is having a rollover!
I'm tired and achy. Baby is pretty low so heartburn is less but unwieldy bump and soreness and getting comfortable is all kicking in. Going to speak to MW about repeat sample, and have a load of stuff in spare room ready to start thinking about prepping labour stuff/packing emergency bag.
Thursday already. The weeks are like whirlwinds at the mo!

Its rubbish but I guess this is what mat leave is all about! Lol! I was asleep by 10 last night so got a decent 6 hours which is okay! I know exactly what you mean by the aches and discomfort - it's just constant isn't it? I can see how Mother Nature works by making you so uncomfortable you are desperate for the baby to appear! Glad the heartburn has eased and that you are getting another sample screened. Hope its all sorting itself out! Defo get that bag organised!! My biggest motivator was doing it myself and not having to rely on H should I have gone into early labour - goodness knows what would have gone into the bag in his blind panic! Hope you get another snooze before work.

Sweet pea- yuk to 4am! Hopefully bubs will turn for you, what have you tried? Enjoy newborn cuddles.
Counter- I agree, the weeks are so fast! Glad the heartburn has eased, mines got worse! How's work now?
Abc- sitting all day doesn't sound fun, hopefully you can have a walk about. Sorry your feeling a bit down, I think all these hormones can just catch up with us at times. Hope your feeling better soon x
Isis- hope sweep works tomorrow. Oh that must be frustrating but you don't have long left either so will soon be having baby cuddles.
Afm currently in bed with a foot in my ribs so thought I'd pop on before work. Think we have finally found someone to do my job but she won't start tip Monday so I am training the weekend girl and she will handover. Past day tomorrow and my boss already asked me to pop in to help Monday! Baby wise all good, lots of heartburn though!

Ended up at the hospital last hight for monitoring as the baby stayed quiet all day. I was surprised how quiet it was there, we had the whole bay to ourselves. Luckily all is ok, and typically she started wriggling once I was hooked up to everything, seems like she's a handful already! Was worth going to put my mind at rest. Tired now but need to go into work as I have so much to do!
SP - enjoy your newborn cuddles! The midwife I saw yesterday said the baby has moved and is back to back so if she stays that's way you'll have to let me know if anything shifts your little one!
Counter - I'm feeling your pain! I'm now at the stage where there's always a part of me that aches! Are you still hoping for a homebirth?
ABC - good luck with work. I can barely do half an hour at my desk before I want to walk around. A whole day would be so uncomfortable. I was really emotional yesterday, I actually ended up on the phone to my mum at work and was crying. I felt the need to just have a massive cry eventhough it was totally irrational.
Isis - I imagine you must be getting frustrated. Sending you lots of baby out vibes!

Missed you there Bertie. I'm so jealous you're almost finished with work! Do you have nice things planned while you're off? I imagine that the Monday after I finish I'll be getting calls from work asking questions!
27/02/2014 at 07:27
SP- sorry you are awake early again. Enjoy newborn cuddles.
Counter = do get your possible UTI checked out. I have always been told to keep an eye out for these in pregnancy.
ABC= sorry you feel down. Hormones and tiredness at this stage do so many things to your emotions.
Isis- hope the sweep tomorrow gets things going!
AFM- well phoned HDU as requested at 7am this morning to see if there was a bed. Told to call back when morning shift starts.....you'd think they would have figured that one out already! I wouldn't have been busy sorting out childcare for before school/nursery starts! Went into work yesterday to sort my lessons out for today. Felt so much better have things in place rather than someone else having to do it. So I (hopefully) have my iron infusion today. Should feel like a new woman by the end of the weekend ;-)

Bertie - enjoy your last day tomorrow. Lots of rest!
Flossy- glad baby was fine. I visited triage a few weekends ago. I was the only one there when I arrived. I mentioned the quiet word to the staff......they told me I had jinxed it now. I had....it became very busy!

counter definitely the bags sorted so you dont envoke law of sod! Glad the heartburn is better.
Abc take it essy with work, youre doing so well! I keep crying at H telling him he doesnt understand, I think its completely normal. Bloomi hormones!
Isis you must be so frustrated. Sending so many baby out vibes. Your time pregnant is limited now though lovely, youll get there!
Bertie just leave work to it. After Tomorrow its not your problem!
Flossy im glad all was ok with monitoring, always best to get checked.
s4 hope they sort you a bed soon and you get going on the trasfusion.
afm - when I got to work yesterday my boss suggested in the nicest possible esy that I finish esrly! Shes right thoug, I need to start listening to my body. Im in so much pain and work just makes it a million time worse. Its a l or nothing with my job, you cant reslly do it less! Tuesday scsred me a bit snd I just cant risk getting so imobile I cant look after p. So ive a gp appointment this mor ing to be signed off. Will go in to handover and finish up tomorrow and then im done!! Suvh s huge relief although ive got a tonne of stuff to mark and sort out tomorrow. Later todsy just need to get a few bits for p's birthday tomorrow snd then will pop to see a friend and her kids.
The sharp stabbimg pain im getting in my bump is still on and off, in fact I nearly rang triage about it last night but its eased again. Always in same place but feels nothing like any stretchy/ligsment pains ive had before. Have mw tomorrow so ill ask her then, in fact will mention to dr this morning if I have time.

I'm back after another wee nap and feeling better for it!
ABC - are just having a crappy day or is something getting you down? Feel free to moan away. Make sure you get up and move about when you can today.
Isis - have you had a show????? Oh fx for you!
Bertie - they found someone at the final hour! Can't believe you have been asked to go in on Monday! Are you going?
Flossy - glad to hear that you went to get checked out. It's horrible when they are quiet in there and the MWs would far rather you went in than stayed home and worried. From 34-35 weeks I was told to stop slouching on the couch watching tv to avoid back to back and now The baby is I need to be even more careful about my posture. Apparently posture is the most important thing as gravity will only encourage baby to stay back to back if slouching. It's not comfy but try and keep your hips in line with your knees with sitting. If she doesn't move come back to me and I'll tell you what else I've been trying!
S4 - I'll keep my fingers crossed that you are taken in today for the infusion and that it helps you feel better!
AR I defo didn't receive a FB message, how strange! That's horrible about the bump pain. Is it tender to touch at all? The only time I've had pain in that place my abs were separating. I'm really pleased to hear about your work situation and you are 100% right to put your health first. Hope the handover goes well tomorrow. What are the plans for P's birthday?
27/02/2014 at 08:47
Definitely sounds like the start of your plug Isis! Oh fingers crossed!!!!
Could definitely be the start isis. Hope so!!!
Sp it might be in your others folder as we're not friends. I hadnt thought of abs seperating but its down one side not in the middle. It is tender and bump goes reslly hard. H has day off tomorrow as ill be in work but as inhave the mw in morning I wont be leaving esrly which is nice. H is takieng her tonsoft play and park then we'll have tea together. Saturday we are going to a farm and pub lunch then sunday we are having a family party for her. So shes having a birthday weekend really. Cannot believe shes going to be 2!!
