Didn't reply to yesterdays thread so:
Boo: Enjoy your last week at work & have a great anniversary weekend
RF: Are your headaches easing off at all? Must be really hard to juggle everything with headaches. Other than that how're you feeling? I'm sure the matb form will be fine.
Saffron: Welcome to the 3rd tri, I don't envy you juggling your NQT year with with being pregnant. Both are hard work! How're you feeling?
AFM: I felt so tired yesterday that I napped with Isobelle (after sleep swimming!) for 2 1/2 hours. But then in the night I woke when she wanted some water & couldn't get back to sleep. Don't think I'll nap today.
Good news: I've finally figured out how to download songs from spotify to my ipod which saves me loads of time & means I can put all sorts of songs on there ready. Now I can sort the nursery out & have some time each evening on my ball in there relaxing & practising breathing. Getting quite excited about the birth now (crazy I know). He's still so wriggly & I'm getting lots of BH.
Bad news: (a bit TMI) thought I'd got away with it this pregnancy but no I've now got pregnancy piles so gonna get a free prescription for them before they get too sore (I hate iron tablets!!)
Hope everyone is well x

no headaches just there, not really eased but can only have paracetamol anyway, not sure if it's psychological as I know I can't have good hard drugs and I know paracetamol won't touch them so in a kind of protest they stick around lol. the headaches have just blended in tbh there's no trigger really, but it's the occasional blurred vision which annoys me , other than that I actually feel ok, just tired, on the count down to finishing work as it's busying up now eugh but only doing 2 dats a week and some of that's teaching so not exactly taxing iyswim.
It's good that you are looking forward to the birth and seem to be getting organised Iv not even gave it a thought, although I did but my toiletries for hospital last week , I'm so jealous that Isobelle still naps omg!!!! What I'd give for Isaac to have a nap
Take care and hi to all who follow

Lovely that you can sort the nursery and practice your breathing. Do you listen to music to do that?
Also, do BH hurt? I've been having pains on and off for a week or so now and was wondering if they were BH - its made me more nervous about the birth as they really hurt! I am terrible when it comes to pain!! I have no hope. lol
Afm - MW appt, scan and consultant appointment today... a busy afternoon!! I hope to get some answers of what the next step is in terms of induction etc. Everything has been on hold until today so I hope we come away with a plan.
Hi to all that follow xx

BK - enjoy sorting the nursery out x
RF - glad you are feeling ok, blurred vision sounds horrible though
Bunny - good luck today, hope you get some answers.
AFM - I had a VERY stressful day at work yesterday which was them topped off when I got home last night but received a letter from the hosp confirming my appt for tomorrow with the consultant. The appt was at 2pm as I have MW at 9 and then need to get upto London. The letter said the appt as at 10am, I had worked late so obviously they had gone home and I just broke down in tears. Im so fed up of chasing and stressing about these appts all the time. anyway I rang the hosp this morning and they said the system automates morning appoitnments and I am booked in at 2, how does that make any sense?? Anyway after a very sleepless night I am feeling shattered today and very emotional still, bloody hormones! x

RF: Headaches don't sound fun but glad they're not too bad. & yes I very much appreciate Isobelle still napping, some days she fights it but I'm determined not to let her drop it, helps keep me sane.
Boo: I didn't have bh last time this time it's just my bump tightening, it's not painful but does take my breath away sometimes & I 'think' they're bh!! Have you got a tens machine? I found it great for early labour. I'm not gonna lie to you about the pain but it's finding ways to manage it. Hence I'm hoping the breathing & exercise I've learnt at lazy daisy will help me. The teacher has 1 track that lasts 1 hour & costs something like £6 to buy so I'm currently getting a few different playlists together with some uptempo songs, some slow songs, some instrumental tracks, some hypnobirthing tracks & some noises (eg waves) & then I hope to listen to them over the next few weeks to see what I like. Hope you get your plan sorted at your appointment. Are you expecting to have an induction?
MrsL: So sorry to hear how stressful these appointments have been, hope that once tomorrow's one is over you don't have to deal with it anymore. Hope you have a good day & get a better night's sleep x
My lovely gp rang me back (so nice not to have to go in) & has made me a prescription to get rid of the soreness, some inhalers & some lactose. She recommended the lactose last pregnancy to take after the baby arrives to make it more comfortable to go to the loo!! I thought it was worth asking for some more this time. Got to use the free prescriptions whilst you can!!
