This is my last day in first tri so I thought I'd start us off!! Have to say there were lots of times I didn't think id get this far, particularly whey I had the big bleed at 6 weeks. But here I am and this place has been such a huge support.
Actually managed a decent sleep last night, only 1 wee trip and no lying awake for hours! Thursday means no work, although I do have to go in this evening for a parents evening. P and I have toddler group this morning and then seeing a friend later so nothing too exciting. Got to call the gp back and sort my flu jab out. I called them the other day and they told me the clinic was full and were really rude so I need to get it sorted somehow. Given im surrounded by germy kids at work I do want it sooner rather than later.
Hope youre all well.

afternoon ladies - cant get on here much anymore as new desk layout at work and people can see my screen :(
I am 6 weeks today, been feeling really sick for the last couple of days. had midwife today, shes sending me for a dating scan as I had long irregular cycles so should have a letter in the post soon. shes also sending me to a dietician as I'm over weight and vegetarian which is fair enough. Quite excited about a dating scan!!

Sorry I'm late to the party today, hope everyone's had a good one.
I found out today our team building event in a few weeks will be quad biking, which I'm probably not supposed to be doing. My boss joked, loudly and in front of the whole office, that if I didn't turn up to this one he'd know I was pregnant. (I missed the mountain biking and go ape a couple of years ago as I was pregnant.) So I think I may be outed if I don't go. Hmm. Not sure what to do then?

I'd go quad biking. In fact u do at the stable every weekend. It's not particularly dangerous or fast Enjoy!!

Hi all, just in from work again. I'd also go quad biking but be careful and don't fall off. I'm still working as a paramedic, still climbing and hillwalking, and generally as active as ever. Generally I don't accept "you shouldn't do....." unless I can see the rationale behind it, weigh up the actual risks, and have evidence for those risks.

It's partially the shouldn't, but partially that I feel so sick the idea of racing round on a quad bike is highly unappealing! I guess I'll see how I feel closer to the time. I hate the early pregnancy subterfuge, would be so much easier if you could just tell people.
