been awake since 3 on the plus side my whole house is gleaming and I'm on my second brew of the day iv changed my bedding too! Schools are on strike here so iv got L and my niece and Ls friend and his sister today the plan is to shove 1200 loom bands on the table and let them get on with it. (They can maybe teach L how to do it lol), iv also got Isaac as usual. We will go to the park later too. No chance of a nap here though. Isaac went to his new pre school yesterday (he goes to one run by my neighbour every Thursday as they take from 2, but this one is where L went before school nursery so he's going weds and thurs mornings from sept) he loved it but kicked off terribly when we had to leave as he was playing with a fire station, he attempted to steal some little figures and had to be carried out screaming, at least they seen him in his full glory .
Other than that not much happening, I want to get to aldi to see if there's any bargains left with the baby stuff, may have left it too late. fil bought the baby an out fit complete with headband , so iv exchanged it for some sleep suits. What is it with grandparents and blooming headbands
o bk yes massive queue jump last time [blush], I think you are quite far ahead of me this time though so fx I won't do the same lol, was booked for elective section as L born via crash section under general anaesthetic due to mw f*ck up, then Isaac was transverse so would have always been a section, booked for 9th feb I think at 39+3 but went into labour on 1st feb and was another emergency section (but v calm) as id gone into labour with a transverse lie. Think I beat you by a few hours I remember HN texting saying your ba was on hitched!

We're still on holiday until tomorrow but I've managed to get on the wifi so I thought I'd check in with you all, plus I've been awake ages!
RF - I hope your day with the kids goes without hassle. Great news about I loving the preschool. Hope you still manage to grab some bargains at aldi.
AFM, we've had a lovely holiday so far. Eaten far too much rubbish but that's what holidays are for, right? Today we're going to take a trip to Padstow again and wander round before grabbing some lunch. Then we've got to head back to the hotel as I have a couple of spa treatments booked. I think H and F will go swimming whilst I'm in there. Have bought baby a couple of little tshirts from the village where we spent our honeymoon :-) I've also had a bit of a change of mind with the two names I thought we'd decided on and now have a third to add to the mix. I might just have to wait until she's here before deciding! I just know that my mum will turn her nose up at it though...
Right, I best go and stick the kettle on as I'm getting I comfy lying here! Take care ladies and I'll try to catch up properly over the weekend x

Rf hope that the loom bands do the trick at entertaining! We aren't on strike today as its only 1 union and only half our teachers are with them, plus its the county's transition day where the children go to their new class or school, something that's really important for some. They might have some stuff in aldi, they had a lot of the bits that they had when I went in Sunday.
WG sounds lovely, enjoy padstow, its so pretty. And I'm not jealous of the spa treatments much!! We've agreed not to talk about names until baby is here now if we can as were not getting any further with them!

Wg I wouldn't worry about what your mum thinks, my mum hasn't liked any of my chosen names and tend the one she gave me was pretty crap [ laugh] sounds like uv had lovely holiday
Bunny hope work goes ok

TRF-sounds like a hectic day, make sure you pace yourself!
WG- sounds like a lovely hol.
Bunny-hope today goes well.
AFM not a lot to report. Starting to looking at bits to get (maternitwear/prams/cars) and not really getting anywhere as so many options.

RF - loving your loom band idea to keep them all busy! And that I tried stealing from pre-school, mean mummy taking him away from the fire station. :)
WG - sounds like you're having a lovely time. Names just seem to be another of those things where people feel they have a right to comment on.
Bunny - hope you have a good day.
Rio - I find the problem with looking at all the stuff is that it seems more real!
AFM - not a lot to report, after waking at 1am for the loo, I must have slept through until I heard M chatting away about 7ish. Best night sleep I've had in a while. The sun seems to have come back out here so hopefully we'll manage a trip to the park at some point.

Bunny - Padstow is lovely but we've done it so many times now. Running out of things to do there, other than eat of course lol.
RF - I know I shouldn't listen to what my mum says but her comments usually stay with me and I end up coming round to her way of thinking. I like to have her opinion but then I run the risk of her hating something I love.
Rio - there's definitely a lot of choice for things out there, too much choice sometimes! I find having a list and working through it one item at a time quite helpful. That reminds me, I really must get myself into gear when we get home!
Sapphire - hope you made it out to the park.

We did, only a quick visit as M has recently developed a but of a fear of swings! Happy to sit on my lap on a swing but the secondsge goes in the baby ones screams are heard! I'm assuming it's just a phase.

RF - these early starts must be such a pain for you, I hope the kids were kept busy today with the loom bands.
WG - glad your having a lovely break - we've got a girls name sorted but H and I hate the boys names we're suggesting to each other.
Bunny - I hope work went well today.
Rio - it's a minefield isn't it! Make a list of must have features for the various items you'll need and that should help narrow your options.
Sapphire - glad you had a good night's sleep, my two joined H and I in bed at various points in the night and they, inevitably, took up all the room!
AFM - nothing much to report, getting lots of nudges from LO and my bump is feeling rather stretched so I'm guessing it's having a growth spurt. The weekend is in sight though H and I will be off to the London Comic Con on Saturday so there'll be no lie in for us!

Rio - there's so much choice isn't there, it can be a minefield.
Sapphire - at least only one toilet trip, glad you got a good sleep afterwards
DS - enjoy your weekend. The early starts aren't really killing me tbh as I wake up wide awake but some days I need a nap but not today, I do go to bed ridiculously early though lol
