Isis - I know what you mean by getting impatient!! Hope she getting jiggling about soon!
CK - happy birthday!!!! Wishing you a fabulous day! Cookie cake for breakkie is a perfect way to start the day!
AFM I slept between 10.30pm - 5am without getting up for the bathroom!!!! It's a miracle!! First time since getting pregnant I've slept that long uninterrupted. I posted yesterday afternoon but was obv too late :( mentioned that I *thought* I felt something on Monday night. It was like bubbles popping! It was v subtle but enough to make me stop and wonder if it was the baby! Nothing since so I may have imagined it! Off to a training course so have a great day day all ESP you CK!

Isis - I went to bed at 10 and didn't wake up till quarter to 8 this morning (well apart from a wee at 3am). LO woke 5mins after me - it was like some sort of miracle!
Happy Birthday CK :-). You make me feel old!
Sweetpea . Sounds like early movements to me :-)
AFM - well following a great sleep / lie in, LO has fell down the stairs :-( I think she is okay, no bumps/lumps or bits sticking out but we've had lots of tears. I think she is more shocked than anything and getting annoyed with me feeling her head for lumps! Have abandoned the woodland/outdoor group we were going to at 10, gonna walk to local shop fir ingredients and then do some baking together at home

Oh, I keep forgetting to mention - I defo have piles :-( Yesterday they were feeling really awful but seem better today. Can't decide whether to go to GP or not. Suspect they won't do anything!

Isis, sorry you are still tired! I know how you feel.
CK, that is very early for cake, hope it hasn't made you feel ill!
SP, glad you got a good nights sleep! I keep feeling weird things too, no idea if it's baby or not!
HF, sorry LO has had a fall! Hope she's ok now. Piles sucks! Could they not give you some cream? Might be better to treat them now than let them get any worse.
AFM, 18+1 now. Saw the healthy living woman this morning, it seems I've finally stopped losing weight! Haven't seen her for 4 weeks and I'm only 0.1 kg less than last time. I thought I was maybe starting to feel baby but at the gender scan the lady said I have an anterior placenta, doesn't that mean I won't feel things as much? I'm a bit confused because I can definitely feel something but now I'm thinking it can't be baby. I keep getting weird waves of cramps too, right where his head is, not sure if this is normal or not. Sometimes it's quite painful! Sickness is definitely on the way out, which is fabulous! Had a lovely day for our anniversary on Tuesday too. Feeling pretty good overall :)

I'm 18 weeks today and haven't posted much on here, but thought I'd join the 2nd trimester thread!
I am also thinking I am feeling movements, little flutters every so often, but no 'big' kick that I could say was definately it! Really want to feel a big one so I know for sure!
Nice to meet you all!

Isis, hope you have a restful day. Im sure those baby kicks will soon come thick and fast. I'm sure mine is practising somersault turns for swimming.
CK, happy birthday x goodluck for the scan tomorrow, I'm not around but will try and check in for an update.
Sweetpea, yeay for good sleep! That sounds like baby wriggles to me :-)
HorseFan, hope LO is ok x boo for piles, horrible things. Touch wood I've escaped so far but I fully expect Brian (as I named my pile) to make an appearance before Pootle arrives.
OB, I have anterior placenta too and for me it meant I felt movement later but now there is no mistaking it, you can even see it and H can feel it. I felt 1st movement at 14 weeks then nothing until 18 to 20, which felt like bubbles and flutters ( for me a bit similar to IBS cramps but not painful) now at 25 it's full on kicks, somersaults and wriggles. Lovely, but nonstop! Pleased the weight loss has stopped too x
Figleaves, hello and welcome to 2nd tri! Hope you've been feeling well so far x
Afm, working from home today then we are going to Devon tomorrow for the weekend, off to River Cottage which was a pressie for husbands birthday. We have been squeezed in for a scan tomorrow as midwife was slightly concerned that baby is measuring too small.

Isis - Oooh hope the mobile version will be available soon. I can never start threads from my phone. I hope you feel baby soon, I haven't felt any definite movements yet either.
CK - You make me feel old :) Happy birthday! Should you find out the sex tomorrow?
SP - Could well be baby. I didn't really feel anything last time until baby was properly kicking.
HF - Oh no, I hope she is ok?
OB - My placenta was low lying last time. I felt movement at about 19 weeks, felt like twitches. Glad you are feeling better.
Fig leaves - Welcome to second tri!
Mrs P - Enjoy River Cottage. I went to the restaurant in Plymouth last week and it was lovely. Hope the scan goes well tomorrow.
AFM - Nothing much to report. H is having a minor op today so waiting to hear from him about when he needs picking up. Luckily the hospital is close to my work. Won a bargain cot on ebay last night aso that's good. Feels good to be buying things :)
