Morning RL that must be such a lovely feeling!
After our lovey weather yesterday it's raining here today so nothing much planned. I think I over did it a bit yesterday and was feeling it last night but H ran me a bath and I had an early night and feel much better today! Doing done baking today and will maybe watch a film later, H has been and walked the dog in the rain so hopefully it will dry up before we take him out again later!
Mrs P I'm sure your scan is today? Good luck if it is and sorry I'm a muppet if its not!x

RL - Happy V day!
MDD - raining on and off here too, just about to go out a walk with the kids :-)
MrsP - Hope everything is well at the scan, look forward to a pic :-)
AFM - nothing much, nursery starts back 2mo for my eldest and toddlers is back for youngest so will be back to routine. Looking forward to it, nursery can deal with Aarons constant "I'm hungry"
Hello to all that follow

RL - what does 'viable' mean in terms of pregnancy? Sorry to be dense.. you can tell I'm new to 2nd tri! Regardless it sounds very positive so congrats!!
MDD- glad you're feeling better, nothing like a nice bath IMO!
Mrs P - good luck with the scan today! Are you finding out the sex or staying team yellow?
I'm at work today, very headachey and tired again, really just want to go home and snooze for a bit! But am off tomorrow and going to try not to run around too much doing stuff so that I am nice and rested for my brother's wedding on Saturday, eek!

Rosy Lee- happy Viable day! i thought it was 23 weeks, guess i have an extra week!
missdeedee- glad you are feeling refreshed!! cery jelous of your plans for today, once Im part time these are the days I plan to have! :-)
Mrs P- good luck for lunch time, i'll be checking in for an update and a photo!
CK- do nurserys have summer breaks too?
AFM- our guests last night werent as exhausting as I thought, the two little girls had their usual tickle fight with H though, arms and legs flying all over the place, i stayed well out of the way! they were both full of questions about the baby!
Had lots of movement last night in bed, H had his hand on the bump for 10 mins but still can't feel anything!
I struggled tieing my shoe laces this morning and had to manouver myself into a better position! I asked H at what stage would he be willing to tie my laces for me and he said, I quote, "At the stage when I stop laughing at you and start to find you pathetic" !!! What a charmer!!

MB - it's pre school, but we just call it nursery. Attatched to the school so they break for summer too. Lol at you H, I've never needed help with laces thankfully, be easier in winter as it's boot season :-)

Mrs Bass, that comment from your H has just had me in stitches, sounds just like something my h would say. He has taken to making trombone 'waddle' noises a l family guy when I get up and walk somewhere.
Rose, we will hopefully find out but stay team yellow as far as family and friends are concerned. Not sure how long I will last with you lot though x
15/08/2013 at 09:45
Mrs P, as i got up off the sofa the other day (which is starting to get a bit tricky) he started making the noise of a truck reversing!!! he would think your h is a genius for the trombone noises! Might not tell him about that one!!
CK- i cant wait to get in my boots!!

Rosy, congrats on 24 weeks.
MDD, sounds like excellent rainy day activities. Hope you feel more relaxed today.
Mrs P, good luck for your scan.
CK, enjoy your last day with the kiddies.
Rose, it’s so nice having a short week. Have you got a lot to do for the wedding?
Mrs Bass, that’s so funny what your husband said. Mine will be like that too I’m sure.
AFM, I am feeling exhausted today. I sooo need a holiday. Roll on the bank holiday weekend.

Mrs P, I spilled for the Tri ladies, you have to tell just us! You'll feel better being able to share :) Mrs B, I'm having the same issue getting socks on, gone are the days I could put socks on effortlessly standing up!lol!
15/08/2013 at 14:43
Ohh I def think you should tell your first tri buddies Mrs P!! Thanks for the link RL, I'd only ever heard it used in early pregnancy so useful to know!
LD I am doing a reading at the wedding (eeeek, so nervous!) and have little jobs like helping the ushers with our side of the family and looking after the cousins who are handing out confetti... then as I'm the only one driving I've been asked to take my brother and his new wifey to their hotel down the road at midnight. Think I'll need to decorate the car!
I'm most worried about being on the go from midday until midnight... hoping the excitement will stop me from feeling tired!

Back from the scan! It was amazing, apart from a ridiculously full bladder, she made me go to the loo halfway through, poor squished baby.
All looked good, baby penguin performed like a star right up until we asked for a picture. Baby decided to turn upside down and hide its face, so the pic isn't great.
Also have anterior placenta, so could explain why I don't feel so much.
So, who is going to guess the team! (The pic really doesn't give anything away)
Pic to follow....

I've just realised that it looks like baby is flicking the v's behind its neck!
15/08/2013 at 16:35
Hmmm Mrs P, my original thought when I saw the pic was girl but before you went I was thinking boy (because I picture a baby boy penguin!) I'm torn but I'm going to stick with boy, especially since they're giving you the v's!
15/08/2013 at 16:42
Great picture Mrs P, I recon a boy.
Rose, you defo need to decorate the car. I'm sure the day will fly by and you won't feel so tired. Can you have a rest on Sunday at least?
15/08/2013 at 16:50
MrsP - I think girl as she,was being shy about having pic taken :-)
AFM been out all day visiting a old uni friend and her daughter. Was lovely and my LO was totally awestruck by older girl (just under 2yrs difference). I asked her when we got home if she had liked playing with Katie and she nodded and burst into tears. Bless!!
