I'm 26 weeks tomorrow, where is time going? My mum and sister are organising a baby shower in September for me so being very secretive with what they're planning haha! anyone else having one? Xx

MrsL - yay for baby kicking lots. Lovely that your mum and sister are organising that for you. I won't be having one, I didn't with M - I don't actually like the idea of them sorry.
DS - hope the scan goes well today.
AFM - I've woken up with a stinking snotty nose this morning. Not impressed with that but I did feel the first lot of flutters last night. :)

Mrs L glad baby now kicking a lot again, no I'm not having one, I don't really like the idea of them, work were going to sort one for me but I nipped it in the bud so have agreed to cakes on the last day
Sapphire - eugh! It's wrong to have a cold in this heat! Hope you feel better soon.
Ds - good luck today for scan
Afm not much to report still no middle name I think im going with the thought she won't have a middle name h off work today and Is going to build everything, hoping the boys will be in their new room by tomorrow eek! My parents arrive tonight, I'm worrying about how many headbands my mum has bought the baby eugh lol
Take care all

Sapphire - yay for the flutters. i wouldnt have organised a baby shower for myself as im not usually a fan but i think they have invited my close family and friends for an afternoon tea,
RF - haha on the headbands, hope there arent too many. Cake sounds like a good idea, as i said above i dont think they are organising a typical shower of piling the mum to be with presents (i dont want it to be like that) they are hosting an afternoon tea!

Yay for kicks MrsL, and that's very nice of your mum and sister.
Yay again for first flutters Sapphire, so lovely <3 Hope your nose clears, I'm the same...maybe it's the weather, although I don't normally suffer.
TRF, did you share the first name on here? If so I missed it, perhaps we could help with ideas? at the headbands, I'm not a fan either. Hope you get the boys moved today.
AFM - hygienist today and my gums were bleeding like crazy, feel very clean though, and yay to not paying for the next 18months! My cloth is in the washing machine ready to be hung out soon, so exciting! Getting organised now for guests arriving next week for the games, we are off to gymnastics this evening. Planning to cook a full meal from scratch for the first time in weeks (months maybe) today so feel like that's a huge milestone. Panicking a bit about next weeks scan now (I've done this before every scan) and wondering whether the flutters I've felt are really flutters...bah! Just going to keep busy and wish the weekend away...I'm working Saturday and Sunday again anyway so shouldn't be hard.
Hi to all who follow

MrsL - how lovely that you're getting lots of kicks and that you're getting a baby shower organised for you x
Sapphire - yay for flutters! I hope your snotty nose clears up today x
TRF - we're going to have difficulties with a middle name - first name sorted which is good. Hope H gets all the furniture assembled today. Headbands can disappear easily [;-)]
AFM - Scan went well this morning, though baby girl (we found out!) was in an awkward position for some of the measurements/checks, so I had to go for a walk and go back after 10-15 mins. All sorted in the end. I found out that I've got an anterior placenta which explains why I'm not feeling any big movements yet, just little nudges and flutters. Family are over the moon that all's well and that it's a girl - there hasn't been a girl born on H's paternal side of the family for 50 years until L came along and now there's another one! I'm going to have a chilled out afternoon after spending some time down the beach this morning.
Hope everyone else is ok!

Sorry I've been so rubbish getting on here
MrsL: Great news about all the kicks and the baby shower. I didn't have 1 last time & I'm hoping that my work will organise 1 (I was a supply teacher at my school last time) but at the same time I don't want people to spent too much - would like a little fuss though!
Sapphire: Great that you felt flutters, hope your cold goes soon
RF: Love the headband worry! No one bought us any (I was so relived but did make a comment early on that I didn't like them or shoes on a baby!). At least your baby has a first name, I think our baby is destined to be called Pumpkin!!
Saff: Not long till your scan
DS: Glad your scan went well, even if she was in an awkward position, how exciting for another girl!
AFM: I had my GTT this morning, I set an alarm but set it for pm instead of am so was 15 mins late!! Then slept for 3 1/2 hours, then got a call from gp to say my iron count is low so have to start taking iron tablets tomorrow. Productive day!
