It's very early for me today, Had my sweep done yesterday morning, and my plug has been coming away in bit's over the rest of the day/last night. I'm 3/5 engaged which is a good thing i assume, MW wasn't too informative of what all the numbers and stuff meant on my chart, and i wish i'd asked her. So i've been awake since about 4 feeling quite sick, but i think it's just bad reflux. I've got up to give H some peace as he's still got to get up for work.
Good luck to Lamby today! looking forward to seeing your BA soon! Hope you had a fab Birthday!
Baby Out vibes to Bexy, and smooth induction vibes to Lamby!
RKB - Fully Cooked + 7 *sob*

RKB - Hope things progress for you today then. Hopefully we'll be reading your BA soon too!
AFM - I have a sore ankle after being at a conference all day yesterday and I still have another 2 days to go. Wore flat shoes yesterday but I think that made things worse as they had no support so today I am wearing flat boots which will hopefully help a bit. Looking forward to going home on Saturday!
Good luck Lamby and BA vibes to anyone else who needs them!

Ooh sounds like things are starting to happen RKB! How exciting. Glad the sweep seems to have worked.
Not much to report here. 28 weeks today so just waiting for Tuesday for the next midwife appointment. Off to mothercare this evening as they have a mother and baby club event at the one near us. Apparently there are experts there on a range of things you can chat to and you get a free goody bag. Can't refuse that! Need to get some maternity bras while there and its also a good excuse to be naughty and get a MacDonalds for dinner as there's one opposite the shop.
Baby out vibes for Bexy, Lamby and RKB!

Morning Twinkletoes. Hope the boots help and your feet aren't that sore at the end of the day. Only a couple of days until Saturday when you can go home.
23/05/2013 at 07:32
RKB - hope things start happening soon
TT - hope the rest of the conference isn't too bad
Bunny - the mothercare event sounds fab, hope you get what you need
AFM, slightly tired after driving home to Glasgow from Paris yesterday. Well, my H drove lol so I have no excuse to be tired. Got home at midnight (really 1am to us) and J has just woken up. Have the fun job of unpacking the car today though and starting on the piles of washing. Holiday was great though, esp the Easy Pass Disney gave me for being pg so I didn't need to wait in all the queues :-) not much baby wise, I posted yesterday saying I'm worried about bump growth but can't get mw appt so will wait til scan next week.
Hope everyone is well x

RKB, hope things get moving for you today x
TT, hope the next two days go quickly for you and your ankle isn't too sore today.
Bunny, enjoy the Mothercare event, sounds like fun.
Ally, glad you enjoyed Disney, hope next week's scan puts your mind at rest.
AFM, not a lot planned for today as we have to wait in for a new fridge/freezer to be delivered - looking forward to a quiet lazy day. Supposed to be at a school governors meeting tonight but will see how I feel as I'm shattered and have a sore throat starting, so might give it a miss. I'm going away with my parents and the boys on Sunday so looking forward to a nice break and some help with the children.

RKB - sounds like things might be happening, fingers crossed!
TT - hope your ankle settles down, dont work too hard!
Bunny - Free stuff is always good! I'm not sure about Mothercare bras, I bought two a couple weeks ago and they are awful no support at all! I chucked them to the back of the cupboard and went back to my trusty M&S underwired!
Ally - I'm sure all will be fine RE: growth, but we dont worry dont we? I worry about something all the time to do with this baby! Dont overstretch yourself too much with the unpacking.
AFM - had a super wriggly baby yesterday which was nice for a change! Been doing my physio exercises, dont seem to be making one jot of difference though. Its so dibilitating I want to cry sometimes! Took me 40 mins to 'pop' to a couple shops yesterday lunchtime when it would normally have taken 20 then I was in agony when I got back to the office. Hmph!
Enough moaning from me, baby out vibes to RKB and Bexy, and good induction vibes for Lamby!

TT - hope the change of shoes help your feet!
bunny - I saw our local Mothercare was having this event, but it was scheduled for my due date, so we never went. Hope you get some freebees and useful info tonight!
Ally - glad you had a good holiday! Being passenger in the car is just as tiring when it's a long journey and your pregnant! - I hope everything goes well at your scan next week! I had people telling me how small and neat I was for a while too which worried me a bit, but the MW said I was perfect in terms of bump size.
Margot - A lazy day sounds fab! I think that's my plan too. Hope your sore throat doesn't come to anything! Where are you off to on Sunday?
PC - sorry the exercises aren't working, but they might just need a few days to start making a difference! Yay to wriggley baby!
23/05/2013 at 08:18
RKB - effects of the sweep sound promising! Hope that things start moving quickly for you and we shortly hear your BA!
TT - hope that the boots help ease your ankle pain
Bunny - enjoy yourself at the mothercare event. I saw an advert for a similar one near us but I think that, for now, we have most stuff we need.
Ally - glad that you had a good time at Disney. Great news about the priority pass! Hope that you manage to get all the unpacking done quickly
Margot - enjoy your lazy day. Your break away sounds lovely
PC - sorry to hear that the physio exercises don't seem to be helping you. Have you had your nhs referral through yet? Maybe some more regular physio sessions will help more
AFM - not the most exciting of days for me - dentist and then midwife! Have yoga this evening which I am looking forward to as I can really do with a good stretch to ease my muscles.
Wishing Lamby the best of luck for induction today and lots of baby out vibes to RKB and Bexy
Have a good day everyone x

Hi Libby!! Hope you're well! :-)

Just poking my head into 3rd tri for the first time....eek!
RKB we just seem to manage to overlap each tri by a week or two! Hope your not here much longer! Out baby!
Twinkle toes ouch to the sore ankle, hope it eases with your boots
Bunny I went to a mothercare event on Monday night was quite good, had water babies/baby sensory stalls there too. Enjoy your McDonald's!

Porkchop I'm with you on the moany sciatica bench!
Ferbs enjoy yoga!
Bexy hope baby makes an appearance soon!
Afm had sciatic pain for over a week now, it's fine when I'm moving around but sitting in the car and sleeping is no fun. Baby seems happy though
23/05/2013 at 10:39
DF - I have the opposite problem, no issue when I'm still, I just cant blooming well walk!
23/05/2013 at 11:05
Oh PC between us then we've got a fully functional body! Have you tried swimming? I felt amazing the other day when I went for my weekly swim!
23/05/2013 at 11:20
Hi Bexy! Hope you're well!
Duckford - Hiya! I'm hoping it won't be much longer before I graduate! But i'm pretty sure i'll be here a while yet! Hope you're well! Sciatica is horrible. I've had quite a mild case of it throughout the 3rd tri!
23/05/2013 at 13:36
Ally- glad you had a good time, I would love to go! It is tiring travelling whether your driving or not! That's brilliant that you got a special pass.
Margot- if I were you I would miss the meeting If they are anything like the ones at our school they go on forever!
Porkchop- glad baby was wriggly. Hopefully the exercises will start to help.
Ferbs- enjoy yoga. There's a class near me I've been thinking about going to, is it enjoyable?
Bexy- hope reflexology works and is relaxing.
Duckford- good to hear the event was worth it. Hope your not in too much pain.
23/05/2013 at 15:01
Bunny, I would definately recommend yoga. It's been great for me to ease aches and pains and have a good stretch. Have also learnt some birth positions that I am hoping will help.
Just back from MW - baby is 3/5ths engaged and in her words, I am all good to go! Told H who couldn't make it to the appointment and he is convinced that we should try very hard this weekend to get things moving which in his mind means only one thing! May try bouncing on the ball and hot curry first!!
