Morning PS! Glad you had a better nights sleep and that the midwife appointment went well.
AFM - still waiting! Got my 2nd sweep tomorrow at 11 and I've been reading some induction stories on here in case baby isn't here by next Tuesday. Still anxious about it and a bit fed up.
Baby out vibes to Imp! Apologies if I missed anyone and hi to those who follow.

PS - sorry that you were emotional - I hope you are ok now? Great that you had a good chunk of sleep.
Ixia - I really hope baby doesn't keep you waiting much longer! Good luck for tomorrow's sweep.
AFM - had my second NCT class last night which was fun. Its a really lovely bunch of people. The teacher was again very anti-epidural which annoyed me as she doesn't give both sides and then give her opinion, she just tells everyone the downsides to it. Two of the four of us are being induced due to medical reasons, (which as I understand it results in a higher number of epidurals? Correct me if I'm wrong though!) so I think its a bit unfair. I felt a bit more open last night (I find talking to new people hard) and spoke more so I'm happy :)
Today I'm getting my new phone delivered and depending on what time it comes I might pop out to see my uncle this afternoon with my sister and nephews.
Baby out vibes to those that want them! X

PS - glad you slept better although the emotional evening may not have been worth it? Hope you're ok! Great news on the baby front.
Ixia - all the baby out vibes coming to you. I think I would be anxious about an induction as I'm really not keen on the idea but know they need to be done. Doing research is the way I would go too. Hope the sweep does it's job and you don't need to wait for Tuesday.
Browny - I've heard that induction often leads to epidurals as apparently it can be more painful. Probably not what you want to hear... I saw your post on yesterdays thread quite late but you're def not alone in getting nervous about labour. I'm really trying to stay chilled and get in my hypnobirthing groove but I can't say it's 100% helping. I had to have an x-ray yesterday and needed to take out a piercing I've had for 5 years and never one removed and that was epically painful!! So god knows how I will manage with labour haha. Really pleased the second NCT went better but I would ask the teacher woman for more info if you're not happy with what's been said so far.
AFM - 2 days left in work. If I say it enough maybe the days will go faster? I did come in to a little present from one of my clinical managers this morning which was so sweet of them. Made me cry. Partly through pain and exhaustion now I think though haha. I am seriously excited for my week of NOTHING next week. I'm going to do as little as possible as our weekends are mental until due date and I feel like I could quite happily doze all day every day at the mo.
Hi to those that follow and massive congrats to Ducky on her brand new twin ducklings xxxx
Bay out vibes for those that need!

PS - glad you got more sleep but hugs for the emotional evening
Ixia - baby out vibes heading your way!!
Browny - glad NCT went well, I'd probably have to say something if I felt I wasn't getting the whole picture!
Jonesy - only 2 days... Woohoo! Definitely use the time to relax!
AFM - midwife last night, still 3/5 engaged. Pains have stopped again which meant a full nights sleep last night. Got consultant Monday if I make it that far, then we will talk induction if nothing happening. Work colleague is a stress head which resulted in her phoning me yesterday to go through some stuff, I was a little bit annoyed by this, perhaps slightly irrationally! Nursery coming along, crib all set up but thinking I should get a little light and a chair for night feeds...
Hello to all those that follow x

oh no being phoned on mat leave is unacceptable!! I plan to not communicate with anyone at all unless it's for gossip reasons haha. When did your midwife start telling you how engaged baby is? I was expecting to be told yesterday but she didn't mention it. She said bean was "right on the brim" when she felt the head but I have no idea what that meant and I forgot to ask! It was painful though when she was prodding in my pelvis which it never has been before.
Ah nursery sounds like it's coming along! We got a light but no chair so ill have to stand and feed I guess haha. I'm not sure a chair will fit so god knows!

Jonesy - hope your last two days go quickly - I bet you can't wait! A week of nothing sounds good. Are you all organised now then?
Kapowski - can't believe you got a call from work on ML! I'd be peed off too. Hope that your baby makes an appearance very soon!

I think we could just about fit a chair in, if not I'll have to sit on the bed. At least Mr C won't have work till September so tough luck if I wake him up!!
I had said to my colleague to contact me if its an emergency (we are kind of friends outside work too) but never thought she would actually ring!! Most of it could have been figured out herself if she would have just thought about it logically!!
