Sorry, I know I shouldn't moan. As someone who has had multiple losses I am very lucky and very grateful that I am in this position.
Today has been horrendous, bad back and bad hips meant I could barely walk at certain points. OH told me to rest while he ironed and did dinner before his nightshift and I hated it. Have felt like I have had a foot in my ribs all day and has meant I can't get comfortable at all, sat down or stood up!
26 weeks and hoping baby will change position tomorrow so I can feel better.
Anyone else want to have a moan...or tell me to shut the f*** up?! Please!

Have you tried laying, bending, moving (gently!) to jiggle the foot away from ribs? A few gentle pushes with your hand might work? Sympathy's, you're allowed to moan xx

I have been shoving the poor little mite all day lol. He won't want me as his mummy when he arrives! :/
Seemed to get better earleir for a bit and then he seemed to do a little somersault and it was back there again.
I know I am but feel bad doing do, thankyou Missus x

Try on all fours to let him sort of drop forward?

Oh I remember the foot in ribs thing, by the time M was born I couldn't sit down comfortably as apparently her feet were pushing my ribcage out, it was so sore.
maybe try on all fours as LR suggests....hope he moves to a more comfortable position soon for you x

You are allowed to moan, pregnancy is a huge toll on your body, it doesn't mean your ungrateful for being in that position.
I think as they run out of room and move down it gets easier, I found around 28 weeks more uncomfortable than now at almost 38 weeks for baby jabbing limbs in any crevice it could find.

I can totally sympathise with the foot in ribs, have had it for about 6 weeks now as baby is refusing to lay anywhere other than my right side. I find leaning on all fours across my yoga ball gives me some respite from it.
Don't worry about moaning, that's what we're here for :)

My ribs still move now and J is almost two and a half! I'm constantly getting one lodged and it gets stuck! Of course you can man, it's perfectly normal!

Thankyou all. I tried all fours and just basically trying to push his feet out but to no avail. This morning he had moved though :o) Think I also need to change my bras as they are not helping the comfort issue lol! :o)

Oh def change for comfy bras. Glad he's moved. A girl I work with had broken ribs by the time her twins were born. Pregnancy has done awful bits no one tells you about!
