S (11 weeks) has been sleeping loads the past week or so so has been going longer between feeds as well as sleeping 8-10 hours at night. My supply has totally dropped though and today he has been getting really frustrated at the breast as he obviously isn't getting what he wants quickly enough. I've had to give him milk out the freezer tonight which I know won't help my supply but he was screaming and it was the only way to settle him. He's just screamed for ages and I kept offering him the breast but he was just getting angry so again I had to resort to a bottle but by the time I'd defrosted it he'd screamed himself to sleep :-( (I tried to give him it as a dream feed rather than it go to waste but in my haste at making it forgot to put the extra bit on the avent bottle so half the milk went over my bed
and baby resulting in waking him up to change him! Not a great night!
I've never had supply problems with the other 2 but iirc it's overnight feeds that up your supply isn't it so am i best setting an alarm overnight and feeding him more often? Or expressing? Any ideas anyone?

Feed/express between 2-4am. Hormones are at their highest. Eat oats, porridge and flapjack galore! Drink lots of water. It's easy to forget I found. I was told to keep expressing frequently to increase supply

I found a warm/hot flannel on my boob helped, and when expressing, using slow drawn out pumps instead of quick ones, HTH

Thanks both, been waking him every couple of hours today to get him feeding more. Trying to eat and drink more too, my H is away with work this week so it's been hard to find the time to eat! My HV said to have lots of skin to skin too so will do that tomorrow when my H is here to look after the other 2

I'd express from the other side if he's only taking one side. If he's taking both sides I'd express from both sides for 5-10 min after he feeds just to make sure its definitely emptied.
Expressing 2-4am is good aswell. Eating and drinking plenty, can you have a bath with S tonight when A abd J are in bed?
