....goes to me!!!
P and i were in the kitchen this evening when we got in. I have my back to her for 20 seconds maximum whilst i put some shopping in the fridge. Turn around and she has opened the bin and is eating from it.
I say eating she is actually shoveling handful of chilli into her mouth. This is chilli that H cooked last week and had left in back of fridge. It had gone a bit gross and mouldy too. Next to the food she was grabbing was a couple of dishwasher tablet packets and underneath was a raw meat container. Nice, nothing dangerous then!!
I had an absolute panic and grabbed her away from bin and screamed no at her!! As i was looking in bin to see if she'd got anything actually poisonous she'd eaten she kept trying to grab at it. So i shouted at her again as i was in such a flap and then of course she started screaming, then more screaming when i wiped her face and hands.
I'm sure she didn't get anything other than mouldy food but YUCK YUCK YUCK. Well done me!!!!!!!

Lovely! Hope she's feeling ok. Obviously don't beat yourself up, from what you've said P sounds like she'd get her hands on anything given half the chance x

Isla's done this before. I caught her with bacon rind hanging out of her mouth which she got out of the bin!!

Sounds disgusting but i'm sure she'll be fine. I found S eating cement last night from the yard brush. Children are disgusting.

Bloody hell, I'm a bad mum every day then! Isaac eats off the floor, out of the pile iv swept up, the guinea pigs food, my friends cats cat food, out if the bin I just cannot keep up with him, I turn round and he's chewing, rubbing his tummy and saying 'mmmmmmm' I ate a Pringles about an hour ago and he has just swung from my arm trying to swipe it. When he eats out the bin I create a huge fuss saying 'dirty' 'yuck' etc and he now says 'yuck yuck yuck' whilst chewing from whatever's been pulled out the bin
