My 14 month old sleeps in all different directions in her cot so I was thinking about getting her a pillow to try to encourage her to sleep with her head at the top! I just wondered what age others have started using pillows & if there are any recommendations of a good 1 to buy.

Zoe was 12 mths and it did exactly what you want it to. We just gave her the flattest of the pillows in the house, even in a cot an adult size pillow fitted.

We tried N with a pillow loads of times but he didn't like it until he turned 2.5
We have always just given him a very flat adult pillow

We gave G a pillow and duvet at 2. Got a set with covers in cot bed size in Argos.
We got a pillow a couple before O's birthday as he seemed to like 1 at my parents when he had a nap, and we were hopimg it'd help stop him bashing his head on his cotbed so much. It sure did the trick....and he loves it! We got a cotbed one from Tesco...fairly flat and less than £5!

Thanks ladies, a lot of the ones I found online were about £15 which I thought was quite a lot for a Toddler pillow but I've now ordered a pillow from Tesco that I'll collect tomorrow. My H told me that when my daughter laid down to go to sleep she laid her head on the folded duvet so I think she is definitely ready & hopefully will sleep vertically in the bed rather than horizontally!!
