So i thought a wee catch up with my Tri ladies would be good seeing as over the next couple of months, we've got 1st Birthday's coming up (or have already been)
W is 10 months and 3 days old today - His 1st Birthday will be the 29th of May and we're taking him to the Zoo on the actual day, with a party on the Saturday 31st!
Biggest milestone to date is that he is now Walking!! obviously, still very unsteady, but he can do it quite well and now just needs to build up his confidence!
He's got 7 teeth, with a possible 8th on the way!
So ladies! How are your little ones doing?

I can't believe my boy is nearly one. After years of ttcing, fertility issues plus miscarriages I've now been a mummy for 10 months and I still don't believe it!
My gorgeous boy is trying to cruise around but can only master standing up so far. He has changed massively in the last 2/3 weeks and learnt to sit from lying down, properly crawling, pulling himself up on furniture and today has nearly learnt how to get from standing to sitting again. He has cut 3 teeth in 4 weeks with the 6th just about to cut through. It's such a delight to watch him grow and change but gosh I miss him being a newborn. He loves cables, stairs (he can climb them) and doors so keeps us all on our toes!
He isn't a massive eater or milk monster but he is still solid. I'm baffled how he is so heavy when he eats so little. His sleep is more miss than hit unfortunately.
He has completed me in so many ways and I'd be happy to be a sahm but sadly that's not possible currently.
I'm still bfing but with going back to work he gets formula then as he wouldn't take ebm from the bottle. I struggled to bf and quit several times so extremely proud of myself to have exclusively fed for 9 1/2 months (bar the odd formula at the very start).
I can't wait to have baby number 2!

They are amazing to watch grow. Sounds like your wee man is doing amazing! And well done you for feeding him yourself for so long! I wish above everything else that I could of been able to do it!

Sorry to crash, just I can hardly believe that's nearly a year. It doesn't seem like anytime since we were on the TTC thread, I remember both of your BFPs so well.
Glad your boys are both doing well. I think this needs some pics!
eta- and TP I'll be soooo excited when you have no2 on the way!!!!

Hello ladies! M will be 1 on 17/5 and I am so sad about it and struggling a little that she will be my last baby.
She s a total delight most of the time. Every day without fail a stranger will come up to me and say what a smiley baby she is :)
She has taken to solids great and will eat anything except bananas! I am stunned to say that I am still bf (fed #1 for 2 weeks, #2 for 7 weeks). We are cutting down now though with a view to stopping completely during the next month. This is also making me sad but I need to do it for my sanity.
Sleep is still awful, goes without saying really!
No teeth here yet but we are permanently in teething hell. My children are wierd and get teeth v late! She crawled at around 8 months and is now cruising along furniture, god help me.

.. Which everyone comments on.He's only just started mostly sleeping through (literally last week or so!). Seems 2013 babies were a batch without sleep mode! I'm also quite sad he's our last. He and his brother get on brilliantly which is lovely to see.

I love this thread - so nice to hear how our tri-babies are getting on!
RKB - How amazing that W is walking already! Very jealous of all his teeth - E has had loads of pain with his teeth and only just cut the two bottom ones in the last month!
TP - Your happiness screams from the page, it's so lovely to hear after your difficult journey. Well done for perservering with the bf, you should be very proud of yourself. Sounds like you are ready to start trying for no. 2...?!
Morph - Fantastic achievment on the bf. Lovely to hear how smiley M is!
AFM - E will be 1 on 14/6 ( where did the time go?!) We are planning to have a party the week before his birthday for family and friends and then go for a day out, just the 3 of us, on his actual birthday.
E is also a very happy and smiley baby. He is incredibly active - a proper little boy who does not sit still! He is also a real chatter box! He loves to clap and wave and will rock whenever he hears music! E can pull himself up to sitting and standing, crawl and also cruise a bit. He loves being on his feet so I am sure that walking is only around the corner (eekk!)
I returned back to work a couple of weeks ago, doing the hours of 4 days in 3. E goes to my parents one day, my in laws for another and nursery for the last day. It seems to be a good balance for him and he has settled in well, although he is still slightly clingy at nursery but I am sure that will change once he has been there longer. So far he has only done two sessions. I do enjoy being at work and putting my brain to some use but I do miss E terribly. However it makes our days together that even more special.
In relation to feeding, I am still doing the morning feed but because of my working hours, E takes a bottle in the evening. He does not seem to be fussed about milk during the day and is eating well. He is just like his father and loves meat! We do a lot of finger food (although not strictly BLW).
Sleep-wise, we are very lucky. E has a good bedtime routine and after cutting out the 3am feed at 6 months, has been sleeping through from 7-6/7. This makes for a very happy mummy!

WH - we must have cross-posted. Lovely to hear how well the boys get on. I can imagine that clothes don't last very long in your household at the rate S is growing!
02/04/2014 at 11:23
Morph - Sorry the sleep is still awful. i hope it gets better soon! That's fab that you're still BFing, and that she has taken to solids so well too. W loves Bananas...well actually, he seems to love everything! - And Oh my goodness to your pregnancy ticket saying your 83 weeks! Ouch would be the word for it if that was true!
WH - That's amazing that S is going into 18-24 months stuff! I thought W was big going into 12 - 18 stuff when he was 9 months! At least he has a healthy appetite too! We call W a little hobbit because he has his own breakfast in the morning and them has a second breakfast when either my mum or myself have ours. Glad to hear that he's started sleeping through too. I think W must have stolen all the May 13 babies sleep because he's been a fab sleeper since about 6 or 7 weeks!
Ferbs - Hello!! Haven't *seen* you about for a while! I hope all is well! E sounds like a fab wee boy with lots of Character! It's amazing how quickly time passes! Hope going back to work hasn't been too hard for you. It sounds like you've got a good set up and support system in place at least!
02/04/2014 at 11:53
gah! i just did something stoopid with my computer and lost my really long reply!
anyway, sorry i don't get on here at all now, work is crazy manic and with 2 LOs, i barely get any me time at all! but it's lovely to see how you are all getting on.
Otis was last placed in the Big Sweep Stake of the 18th april (after very excited's S and hep's I) - i cannot believe that it was nearly a year ago! i am so disorganised and have yet to buy him anything for his birthday - poor neglected second child
i have been so lucky as O is generally an angel baby , he is smiley and even though in the last few days he has been grotty, clingy and whingy, generally speaking, he's just fab. he must be going through a growth spurt at the moment as he appears to be eating me out of house and home, and is regularly eating more than his sister! he's been on 3 meals since he was about 7mo and is turning into a bit of a chunk. he's been sitting since he was 5mo, crawling at 10mo, and pulling to stand 2wks later, and now thats all he wants to do (i am regularly wiping baby crap off of my trouser legs - bleeurgh!) i've got a personal bet on that he'll be walking by our summer holiday in august (at least i hope he is, not that i'm looking forward to 2 toddlers!) he is babbling lots (not so great at 5.45 in the morning ) and making lots of mummummum noises. he's said daddy once, and something that sounded like coco, but otherwise nothing very discernible as a word, but it's always at the top of his voice. he's an early waker, but saying that, he's a generally good sleeper, and, *touches all the wood i can grab*, sleeps through 6 out of 7 nights.
him and coco are just totally adorable together - C just absolutely *adores* him (she calls him o-tidge!), although she is well aware that she is bigger and heavier than him, and uses it to her advantage (oh my girl, just you wait.....) O follows her around like a puppy, and it's hilarious watching her just run from one end of the house to the other, whilst he crawls after her. oh my, the baby days were HARD, especially when O was really little, but it is so rewarding now having a small age gap as they are each other's best friend. i wouldn't have it any other way (but of course, i don't know any different!)
now that i've written an essay, i don't have much time for personals, but it's lovely to see everyone, especially those i 'see' on FB.
here's a pic of my fantastic mr fox and 'king of cool'

Bluewater! O is just gorgeous!! I'm pleased you are doing well and that although it was hard for you at the time, that you are enjoying watching your children interact the way that they do.
We should have a wee flash of our little ones!
This is William the other day enjoying a nice healthy snack. Banana in one hand and a strawberry in the other!

What beautiful boys, such gorgeous chaps!
Here is E on the swings - his new favourite thing!
02/04/2014 at 13:57
Oh Ferbs! He is just beautiful!
02/04/2014 at 21:12
Beautiful babies!! I was on the tri threads with you all but already have a 1 year old!!! How it's happened I have no idea! He's been cruising for months and so close to walking, he forgets and lets go then remembers! He's understanding so many words, can say a couple...especially 'no' whilst shaking his head! Eeek! such a treasure and like TP I still can't believe I'm a mum! Time certainly flies! Sorry, I'm on my phone so can't see everyone's replies very easily! x
03/04/2014 at 08:14
Such gorgeous little ones!! Glad to hear everyone is doing so well.
I still can't believe that E is nearly one!! She's great fun and has a real giggle on her. She now goes to nursery 4 days a week and loves it. I really treasure our Fridays together though. She eats and sleeps well too.
She started crawling at 6 months and immediately pulled herself up to standing (I think being short and light helps!) so she has been cruising the furniture for 5 months!! She is really independent (no idea where she gets that from!!) so won't let you hold her hands to try to walk, but will trundle along giggling with her v-walker!! We've been through so much over the last year with her cleft surgery at 3 months old and all her reflux and feeding issues, but I am so proud of her. She seems to take everything in her stride!
Here's a pic of her in one of her favourite places - the swings!!
03/04/2014 at 13:32
Smarties - It sounds like your LO is ready to go!
Al - E is beautiful! and look at all those teeth! W is the same. toothy grins are so cute to see!

Hi ladies, I haven't been on for weeks but heard about AR's BA so came on to wish her congratulations and saw this thread.
Life is rather busy with two and I really struggle to see MD on my phone, the only time I really surf the net.
Sophie was one of the super sweepstake 18th April babies! She came with the faulty sleep switch and for months would not sleep for longer than 1-2 hours at a time. The last couple of weeks she has started to get better and will sleep for 4-5 hours at a time and once slept for 9 hours IN A ROW!
She is a super smiley baby with the most gorgeous brown eyes and has fitted into our family so well. Her big sister has started to warm to her recently thank goodness as it was touch and go there for months. I did not like sharing us, her toys, her grandparents.
S has 10 teeth, cruises, crawls and has started standing on her own until she realises then quickly sits down! She tries to climb everything and tries to copy her big sister. She loves swimming and sing and sign and says Mumma (when she wants food!), Dadda, Iyabeyya for her sister (Isabella), up, down, and signs all done and waves goodbye to my boob when she has finished a feed which is super cute!!
Life is busy with a kamikaze 11 month old and stroppy nearly three year old but I love it and it is so much easier than I thought it would be.
Here's me and my girls on Mother's Day

So great to "see" you all! I hardly ever get on here now as, like you all, life is pretty hectic with 2 and I am only ever on my phone.
Your babies are so beautiful. Al - the surgery clearly went brilliantly! Would love to do personals but i cant see everyone's replies on my phone.
P is 1 on 25/4. Cant quite believe it!! The early months were HARD with the milk allergy and reflux, then i lost my mum in August and H was made redundant in November so it has been really hard. I was diagnosed with PND in June but am definitely out the other side now.
P is the most wonderful smiley baby! She is an absolute joy. She has 6 teeth and a other one trying to poke through. She commando crawls at super speed which is very amusing! She is pulling herself up and is very cheeky. She eats anything and everything. Yesterday i caught her eating coal out of the fire little minx! It was all over the carpet! Weaning has been great fun. She knows the word "no" but if i say it to her she stops what she is doing, then grins at me, laughs and carries on. Trouble with a capital T! G adores her and P adores G. She gives G her biggest smiles! Dont want to speak too soon but after months of her sleeping in our bed every night as it was the only way she would settle, she has slept through for about 2 weeks since i have been putting a small toy in with her that i keep in my bed so she can smell a familiat smell. Lets hope it contunues!
We are seeing the dietician on Monday to talk about reintroducing milk when she is 1. Bit nevous as things seem to be on an even keel at the moment but need to try it again at sone point! She is off the reflux meds and seems to be doing really well. She had *awful* chickenpox in February and she was quite ill and totally smothered from head to toe but they have just about gone now.
So all in all lifes great! H is settled in a new job, G loves school, P is happy and so am I! :-) Will try and post a pic but havent been able to for ages....xx
