I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome/Hypermobility Syndrome of which one of my many symptoms is IBS. I have gone through two full term pregnancies with it & it isn't easy. I became very strict on drinking, I would ensure I had half a pint of water/squash every hour to keep my hydration levels up, I cut down on caffeine (coffee/cola) as this can increase constipation & help cause the dreaded 'piles'. Adjusting diet to how I was feeling (Banana, Rice, Apple, Toast for loose bowels & more cereal, potato, pasta for constipation) also helped a little along with the good old tummy circles (clockwise to speed things up & anti-clockwise to slow things down). Best wishes.
