Morning ladies, how are we all?
Well I managed to keep food and drink down yesterday which is an improvement but still felt rotten. I'm hoping I'm better today as I'm on my own with D. Got abother private scan booked for tomorrow night. Can't wait to see my little ones again and make sure they are okay.
Anybody got anything nice planned for the week?

MS I hope you feel better today and it's not too tough on your own. I bet you can't wait until tomorrow to see them again, is it sinking in now?
AFM I've still got the cold, I'm working from home today which is ok. I feel nauseous this morning but not been sick. I don't really have anything nice planned this week, just work :( but I have a champagne afternoon tea at the weekend with 3 of my best friends. They are immediately going to clock that I'm not drinking the champagne, or normal tea. They all know we've been trying for a long time and how hard I found it. I don't mind if they guess as they have been a huge support and if anything does go wrong I'd be looking to them for support.
I hope everyone else is well

Hi DP. Sorry to hear you've got a cold still. Make sure you get plenty of rest at home today. Afternoon tea sounds fab. I reckon they will guess pretty quickly if they already know you were TTC. It's lovely to tell people and makes everything seem more real. It's sinking in very slowly. To be honest I don't think it will sink in completely until they are here.
Well more good news. We have just had our offer accepted on a house. Yippee!

Yes, it's odd I feel like I have a massive secret I can't tell anyone!!
Ah fantastic!! I hope that all goes nice and smoothly, you should be in with plenty of time to settle before the babies arrive!

MS - Glad you are feeling a bit better regarding not being sick, hope it continues for you. I often think about how hard it must be feeling like we do but having a little one to look after too. I bet you can't wait for tomorrow it will be so lovely to see them again.
Dolly - Champagne tea sounds lovely, even if you can't have a drink , I'm sure it will be a lovely afternoon, I am also certain your besties will crack on so be in for some premature congratulations ;) Hope the cold clears off soon.
AFM - Well today is the second day I actually feel ok, (apart from my boobs) I haven't had 2 consecutive days feeling ok since the pregnancy I feel like shouting it from the rooftops! Well we have a nice weekend in store, we are travelling up North to see the family and to celebrate my Aunties 50th Birthday, it's all a big surprise so will be lovely. I also haven't seen my Mum since I first did my pregnancy test 4 weeks ago so that will be nice and she's already warmed me I won't be lifting a finger, so it should be nice and relaxing too.

Wow, I completely still feel like an imposter posting here. Weird!
MS - Bet you can't wait to see your babies again. I'm glad there's some improvement but sorry you still feel rotten :( It must be really tough having to keep going and looking after D.
Dolly - Definitely get as much rest as you can today! I hope you have a fab time with your friends - at least you're giving them an excellent reason to toast you eh?!
Claire - So glad you're feeling OK for a second day! Hope you have a lovely weekend with your family. It's freezing up here at the moment - it was actually below freezing this morning!
So far today my head hasn't been spinning and my stomach has felt OK, but who's to say that will last all day?! I can't believe it's still only Tuesday, I really wish time would hurry itself up a bit - I need to see with my own eyes what's going on in there! I think my plans for the week will be the same as the last few weeks; get up, come to work, go home, go to bed ridiculously early. Rock 'n' roll!

ST - I know what you mean about feeling like an imposter but I definitely think it helps that there are a few of us who've migrated with you :) Time really does stand still so I totally sympathise with how you are feeling right now. I spoke to my Sister yesterday and she said it was really cold so I'll be sure to pack my winter woollies although I won't be venturing out for long, the odd dog walk and that'll be me!

Ladies I'm glad you feel time had slowed down too. I feel like every day since my bfp is twice as long! I've been told it'll feel that until after the 12 week scan and then time will run away!
04/11/2014 at 11:21
Claire - it definitely helps that a few of us have come across together, I'd feel even more imposterish if it was just me! Winter woolies are a must, I put my gloves on for the first time this year yesterday!
Dolly - Are you having an early scan or just waiting for the 12 week one?
04/11/2014 at 11:28
Yes we're going to go at 8 weeks for an early one. I've not booked it yet I didn't want to book it too early but am contemplating picking up the phone today.
It's nice that a few of us have some across together, it feels less strange! BFPs always tend to come in clusters on this site I've noticed.

MS- Glad you are feeling better the scan pic is so cute xx
Dolly- Enjoy your tea and let us know if you book the scan x
Claire- Glad you are feeling better, enjoy your Aunt's birthday celebrations
ST- When is your scan?
AFM -I'm 11w2days now, it seems to have flown. Other than tiredness and a bit of nausea, I am still having very few symptoms compared to with Grace (and my MC's), but now I've had a scan and seen the baby I'm really thankful for that. With Grace by this stage I was vomiting 10+ times a day and unable to even keep water down, I've no idea how I'd have looked after a baby if I was in that state now. So I have my fingers crossed I don't get Hyperemisis again and am generally enjoying the pregnancy, which unfortunately I didn't manage at all last time. Tonight I'm taking G to a bonfire, she doesn't seem bothered by loud noises so I'm hoping she'll enjoy the fireworks. x
