Hi MrsP, I love ikea but its so frustrating when they don't have stock! You will have to flash some pics after the weekend :-)
Sealife was great yesterday (once we eventually got there re trains fiasco!) LO was shattered bless her. I had a decent nights sleep last night too so feeling better about life today. Off to the Dentist this morning (booo, LOL) and then have a committee meeting tonight for the riding club i belong too. Should be interesting as we've invited a non-committee-member to 'thrash out' her issues about the way the Veteran Trophy is scored. She bought the Trophy and upset she has never won it. (Surely you dont fund the Trophy and then get upset, try to change the rules when you dont win it!!??? ARRGHHH :-)
I dont know if i will get on the rest of the week as Wednesday I have Midwife 9:30am, Vet 10am, farrier 11am and then driving to my sisters (4hrs away in Somerset) and staying a few days - probably back friday evening/saturday morning - havent quite decided!)
Hope everyone is well

You are one busy lady Horsefan! Hope all goes well at the midwife tomorrow x
10/09/2013 at 08:37
Me too - I've riding my horse agsint her wishes (would she rather I sit on a sofa and eat choclate for 9months!!???) and i'd forgotten i didnt go to the appointment she booked for me with Supervisor of midwives re my planned homebirth and due-date argument. The SOM phoned me ages & ages ago and we agreed over the phone that if i want a homebirth, coming to the hospital for a meeting about it is a waste of time!! Nothing in my notes tho (obviously as was phonecall!). Maybe the SOM will have phoned her too? No idea.

MrsP you sound very organised. I'm not even sure where to start with our spare room!
Horsefan, sealift centre sounds great. Sounds very busy make, make sure you rest too. Hope the appt goes well.
Well today is the first day of school for my boy. I'm feeling a bit emotional! Doesn't start til 11 so just having a leisurely breakfast. Nothing baby wise to report, still no movements :( scan on Saturday and can't wait to see the baby. Mil is coming as well cos I'm a super daughter in law ;)

Morning all lovely ladies
Mrs P - i agree with you and being erally organised, well done to you
HF - just listening to your life makes me tired lol you seem to do so much!
ISIS - i cant even imagine how i will be with the LO goes to school, think i will have to get a job in the school aswell
AFM - things aer quite busy at min, had my last physio session last night, had a car accident in feb and my back is screwed and they agreed last night that they have tried all of the things they could try and its no better so i just got to lump it!
got an exciting evening at B&Q this evening, we are decoration the lounge and bathrooms, moved in in april and done two rooms so far so iv'e told OH we need to get a move on!
Work is a bloody nightmare at the moment and i am really really unhappy in my job, i just seem to be taken for granted constantly, defo dont think i will be returning once my mat leave finishes, but need to start building up my clientelle again for hairdressing as i think this is my only way forward
any way enough of the moaning from me, have a good day everyone catch up later x

Mrs P - defo give us a flash once the nursery is done! We haven't even started thinking about this yet!
HF - You are busy indeed. I hope your horse is okay and the appointment with the MW goes well.
Isis - That's sooooo emotional!!! What a big deal! I'm sure your LO will be great andI hope you survive without too many tears! I can't wait to hear what colour you are having!
NLH - that's so rotten about your back. Back pain is a terrible thing to live with. I'm sorry to hear that work is so sad :( It's great you have a back up option even for the short term. Do you work know you're not returning? I couldn't afford not to go on mat leave if I wasn't returning for even the minimum 3 months. I wish I had an alternative! I should maybe start working on that!
AFM - not much to update. The cleaner this morning told me my bump was starting. I think depressingly it's just a fat tummy but I went along with it anyway! Seeing my wee mum this afternoon which is v exciting. She lives 200 miles away so I don't see her much but they are on holiday outside of Glasgow and coming in for the day! Can't wait!!

Mrs P- ikea is always safer int he evening rather than the weekend! Glad you've got most of the nursery sorted! Ive seen a cot bed in John Lewis which in nice but no rush to get it yet, especially as they wont use it until about 6 months!
HF- sounds like tonight could be interesting!! Wehre abouts in Somerset is she?
Isis- i hope there arn't any tears at the school gate!!
NLH- that's not good news about your back!! Or about work either, just keep focussing on Mat leave!
Well I was woken up this morning but the most painful leg cramps I have ever experienced! it was in both calves and with a little wiggle it went from one leg but it made the other leg so much worse! I was almost in tears! After rubbing my muscle it died down, I lay down again and it came back :-( had to position my leg carefully to lie back down again! not my calf muscle aches!
I have a feeling that after a smooth 6 months, the third trimeseter might be when im hit will all the nasty symptoms! Already this week ive had indegestions, reflux, leg cramps and nausea walking to work this morning (although that might have something to do with having 2 bagels for breakfast!)
10/09/2013 at 09:49
well i orignially loved it here, but things have changed since getting pregnant! i am entitled to company maternity pay which is 20 weeks half pay but the thing is when you return you have to stay in the exact same role and cannot hand in your notice for one year or you have to pay it all back, so i am having to just take statutory, 6 weeks half pay then government mat pay for the rest! i have booked the year off but can only afford to be off for the 39 weeks i get stat pay for!
10/09/2013 at 11:33
Boy at school, no tears but he didn't want me to leave! Home now, going to have lunch in peace then tidy up :)
10/09/2013 at 11:38
Mrs P - Definitely need to see a picture when finished!
HF - I'm sure what the MW doesn't know won't hurt her ;) Like you say 9 months is a long time not to ride.
Isis - Emotional day for you. I haven't really felt much either yet. I'm sure it will happen soon.
NLH - Sorry work is frustrating for you at the moment. Hopefully the hairdressing will be a way out and can fit it around the baby.
SP - I just look fat at the moment too, I'm sure you'll have a proper bump soon enough. Have a nice time with your Mum.
Mrs B - Rubbish about the leg cramps. Isn't it meant to be that you need more salt if you get cramps? I could be wrong though!
AFM - Nothing much to report. Wishing this week away already. Got a full days interviewing today, hopefully will sort out the vacancies so i don't turn into a full time recruitment person!
10/09/2013 at 11:40
Sorry Sweetpea, we must have posted at the same time!! Have a great time with your mum!!
NLH that sounds like a pain nbut if u are unhappy there u dont want to be tied down there for anotehr year!
Isis- I bet he is having loads of fun now making new friends!! Enjoy your quiet afternoon!
10/09/2013 at 14:32
Isis - good luck for scan on Sat
NLH - we too are in the middle of decorating project (hall, stairs & landing) but ours has stalled due to plasterer being unable to start until begining Oct. I tried to plead / reason with him that i'm a priority re gonna still be decorating at 9months pregnant at this rate but no joy. LOL
Sweetpea - the dentist receptionist asked if i'd had the baby yet :-(((((((( I think i have a proper bump!!
MrsB - She owns a house in Wellington, Near Taunton (i think we've had this conversation before!? LOL) but is currently renting a house with her boyfriend on the goat farm they manage. Its in the middle of nowhere but near Wellington, ish.
MrsV - the midwife knows i have a horse (saw all the pics at my house when she did booking in appointment) and previously written in my notes "advised against horse riding" which is annoying as this is not NHS advise/policy - just her opinion as her daughter used to have a horse - NHS advise is not to take it up as a new sport during pregnancy!
Managed to land myself with a big lecture from dentist about brushing properly - and even more so if the gums are bleeding (normal for pregnancy). Slightly shocked as i think i take good care of my teeth and dont eat/drink too much cr8p. I dont have a single filling or anything....... gah!
10/09/2013 at 14:47
Gah- Mrs V I posted at the same time as you that time! Ive heard that sat or salty wter can help prevent them! The amount of crisps ive been eating recently, I really wouldn't have thought I needed more salt! Tomorrow you are half way through the week! :-)
HF- stupid dentist, was proably just annopyed as you wouldnt be paying for his expertise!

I'm 13w+4, I've been a bit slow getting on here because of my ongoing vomiting. Anyway hello to you all, and I hope to be a bit sprightlier and on here more often in future

Hi all, you've all been busy again today.
Won't do personals if you don't mind. I came on this morning with the intention of saying hello but when I saw HF's note about the dentist it reminded me I also had an appointment. I've been forgetting everything lately. Anyway I got told off too and have been sent for a hygienist appt which is probably about right as I haven't been since 2010. Terrible isn't it.
Not a huge deal to report. Baby likes kicking in the evening which worries me as I am totally not a night owl unlike my H. My H thought that he could feel the baby kicking last night but I am not sure whether its too early for that at the moment. Anyway I like him being involved.
Welcome Babylonglegs. Hope your sickness gets better.
