Hope we are all well. Still v excited for some baby news from ppl on this thread in next couple of weeks. Feels a little while since last BA.
Afm feeling a little down in the dumps following weeks of 3hrs a night sleep and then yesterday's glucose reading. I know it is fairly common, might not mean anything, and there are worse things, but it has left me a bit bleurgh. Just hoping I get called in sooner rather than later for monitoring. Also feeling grateful of 34 week scan due to the low placenta as want them to look at growth as bump was measuring 35 weeks at 31 weeks yest (which i know can be inaccurate).

... Meant feeling excited as some of you are sounding close to the end. The 3hr sleeps have taken away my ability to be articulate ;-)

Morning Rio hope you hear something about the glucose reading soon, it's hard not to worry.
AFM I been awake since 5am, no idea why just couldn't sleep and switch my mind off. Im so nervous now about giving birth I can't seem to think about anything else. Hoping I can get a nap in later but waiting to hear about my car as I was meant to get it back from the garage last night and they said it now won't be ready until 10am today. Yawwwwnnn!!

Aw bless you MrsL. I know I'll feel the same as you closer to the time. I think the thinking about it lots is all part of you mentally preparing. Get those naps in!

I just wah I could switch off, I feel so emotional today I've had a cry with H this morning. It's going to be a long day!

Rio I feel your pain on the no sleep!! I regularly get 5 broken hours, I love my sleep too , out in from work at 11, went straight to bed, L shouted to ask if I was home, got to sleep, Isaac needed a wee, got back to sleep, the wind woke me up, couldn't get back to sleep
Mrs L I think maybe everything's come to a head as the end is so close, try to have a open mind and look at it that baby is coming out just not sure how yet. Try to speak to your h so he knows what u want in certain situations
Afm last day at work today, everyone gave met pressies yesterday as I'm on with 3 boys today and the girls said they'd forget lol, we are having a buffet today but I'm in charge all day and I doubt itl be an easy shift . Got 2 big bouquets of flowers, loads of clothes, some JL and next vouchers and the boys got some sweets and some colouring books to keep them occupied when I'm pinned to the couch feeding a newborn lol. Got 2 bottles of flash spray too due to my craving of detergents o and I got chocolates and bubble bath too! I was thoroughly spoiled!
Hoping the storms keep everyone away and I can wind down but I doubt it

Rio: Hope you find out soon about the monitoring, I'm sure it'll be fine & yes, growth charts etc seem so inaccurate!!
MrsL: Hope your car is sorted this morning. It's exciting thinking about the birth, I went through a nervous phase a few weeks ago & now I'm ready for him to come (been reading a lot of positive birth stories & affirmations to remind myself that my body can do this). As for the sleeping thing though, wish I could help, I've got pregnancy insomina too. If you find a solution please share!! Hope you get a nap today
RF: Hope your last day isn't as busy as you fear but at least it'll soon be over. It sounds like you've been thoroughly spoilt!
JJ: Sorry to hear your sleeping is bad too, hopefully it'll get easier to manage as time goes on.
AFM: I've got my mw appointment today so fingers crossed I find out that my baby is no longer back to back but in a good position (although 2nd babies don't engage until labour so he may well move again!!). Only woken by hubby in the night but other than that I slept through but had some very vivid dreams (non pregnancy related) so still feel like I haven't slept fully. Got my last lazy daisy class tonight. I'm really gonna miss them but hopefully I can put the techniques into good use very soon!!

Rf H has been great, I think you're right though it's all just come to a head. Sounds like you got spilt, enjoy the last day!
JJ I'm no good sitting at home doing nothing I get bored haha, going to get some fresh air now and chill this afternoon
BK hope your midwife appt went ok? Has baby moved?
AFM well I managed to fall back to sleep on the sofa of a couple of hours. Car is back but still needs more work on it next week, told them they'll have to come and pick it up and sort it as baby is due, I'm fed up with it not being fully finished every time if get it back. Going to pop out now and get some fresh air and then chill his afternoon.
Hope everyone has nice days x

Rio - hope you hear soon, I'm sure it'll all be fine.
MrsL - hope the car is sorted soon. I think it's normal to have the worries about labour. I remember quite late on with M still being in total denial about how she was going to arrive.
TRF - enjoy your last day, hope it's a nice calm one.
JJ - make sure you can rest up when you can.
BK - hope the mw went well.
AFM - had the growth scan last Thursday (after bump measuring 32 weeks at my 28 week appointment on the Monday). It turns out baby is measuring spot on 50th centile but I have extra fluid, which meant a blood test to rule out infection and having the GTT yesterday. Got my results back and all is clear so it's just back to being monitored by the mw but I may need another scan later on. Otherwise all is well and looking forward to H being on half term next week so I can have a bit of a rest.

Jj- i so understand the lack of sleep and work combo. Hope you can have a restful eve.
Bk-hope MW went ok and that baby has turned.
MrsL- pleased you went back to sleep.
S- pleased baby measuring average.
Afm, I heard back from MW. Got to monitor glucose myself for 2 weeks (find out how at hosp on Fri) and then meet the consultant 2 weeks later to discuss the results.

MrsL: What a pain about the car, hope you manage a chilled afternoon
Sapphire: Glad to hear all is well. I had a growth scan too & turns out I have lots of fluid too which they said was a good thing.
Rio: Hope all goes well with your testing
AFM: Very pleased to say that baby is no longer back to back & is 3/5ths engaged!! Although she did also say that it would be convenient if I had him tomorrow as she's got quite a few of us booked for home births & apparently I'm 'lagging behind' as all her other mums have gone early recently, charming (not even due till Thursday). Then it turns out that, as it's half term next week, there isn't a mw clinic on next week so was gonna see my gp instead but they're all off for half term too & no point in seeing a locum doctor so got to go the post natal clinic at the hospital & see the midwife there. That's booked in for next Thurs when I'll be 41 weeks. She did say that she'd seriously want me to consider a sweep then as I'd need to have a sweep before they book me in for an induction. At which point I reminded her that I don't wish to consider either until I'm 42 weeks. Really hope mw next week is nice or, an even better option, that the baby comes naturally before then.
