i hope you don't mind me startng the thread, first time I have done it.
hope you are ok all. I've been waking up at 4 or 5am everyday busting for a wee and have had loads of trapped wind (sorry if tmi!) I, assuming that's all part of it?
2 days until docs appointment, planning on telling my sister and other brother this weekend. So far only our parents known and 2 of the 4 siblings.
Have a good day all xxx

Sorry didn't get on yesterday.
Yup Mrs l needing to wee and wind seem to be part of it! I had the bloating and wind for about 3 weeks but now its much better, although still having to get up for a wee! Not long until the docs! It does make it feel more official. That's exciting telling people and seeing their reaction. We've decided this time round not to until we have to which I think will be near the end of the month when we visit my family as my mum will notice I'm sure! We just don't want them worrying after last time.
Not much to report, genetic midwife appointment on Thursday so I'm counting down to that. Got to tell the teacher that I won't be covering her class that day and hope she goes with the its follow up from k excuse, which it is in one way. Just got group and one to one work today with the children which I enjoy so that should be nice.
Hello to everyone Elsey x

Ducky - I will see you in 2nd tri shortly!! How the hell are we 2nd tri already? :O
Afm - About to get up and ready for work. Can't wait for a lie in on my day off tomorrow! Spent yesterday playing with my new pushchair and stuck the dog in it so I could push him around the lounge. He was actually quite good about it!

Malteaser - good luck at the MW, keep me posted
Boo - hope you feel better soon.
AFM - I have a really bad earache today which is pretty annoying. Felt a bit sick this morning but nothing much else pregnancy related to report. Starting to get a bit nervous about my scan in six days...it's the day before H's birthday. so it will be bloomin' horrid if something goes wrong!
04/03/2014 at 09:43
Maltesers - 8 weeks already! You'll be having your scan before you know it :)
Boo - Do I *know* you? You are always so lovely to me and I feel like I should know who you are but I don't recognise the username!! So sorry to hear you are feeling poorly, hope it doesn't continue for too long x
Gavi - Oh no another poorly lady! Hope you are feeling better soon too and I was terrified on the run up to my scan too and felt even more poorly so I think the stress of the upcoming scan is probably adding to it!
AFM - A lil picture for you ladies.... ;)
Apologies that he looks like a living mop in this photo. He's sporting his winter coat at the moment and had just had a drink so has a nice soggy beard/moustache!!
04/03/2014 at 11:13
Gavi - fingers crossed that everything goes well witth your scan :)
PS - your dog looks quite at home in the pushchair! Yes, you know me. Kind of. Im an ex hitcher but also on d13. A quieter poster mind! Xxx
04/03/2014 at 11:26
Ooooh!! Boo message me on fb!! I won't tell anyone who you are but the curiosity is killing me lol x

MrsL - I've been having to get up numerous times in the night to wee, well I should say everytime I wake up I have to get up and go! Definitely sympathise with the wind, I just feel really bloated at the moment.
Bunny - will be thinking of you on Thursday. Hope you have good day at work today.
Ducky - all the best for your time on 2nd tri, hopefully see you over there soon!
PS - I love that you put your dog in the buggy and pushed him around. It's made me smile! Enjoy your lie in tomorrow.
Maltesers - hope your booking in appointment goes well.
Boo - sorry to hear you're feeling a bit poorly, hope you soon feel better and that you get a better night's sleep tonight.
Gavi - not long to wait until the scan now! Have you got anything planned for H's birthday?
AFM, I've not long got back from taking F to toddler group this morning. It's such a lovely spring day - I called in the shop on the way home and bought some lovely tulips to brighten up the kitchen (I actually wanted cooked chicken for my lunch but they didn't have any!)
Not much to report pregnancy wise. Feeling pretty okay, just a bit tired and bloated.
04/03/2014 at 18:09
Ducky have fun in 2nd tri! Will see you there in a few weeks.
Purplestar I love the picture of your dog! He is certainly travelling in style :)
Maltesters hope that your booking in appointment went smoothly and you didn't have to wait around too much.
Boo I hope your not getting a cold and that you have a better sleep tonight.
Gavi I'm sure your scan will be fine. Hope your ear ache goes soon.
Weather girl what did you have instead of the chicken? Its annoying when you fancy something and there is none. I love a bunch of tulips.
Well it was an interesting day at work, one of the kids I was working with kicked off, refused to do what he was told, head butted one of the teachers who was blocking a door to stop him going out and just yelling at the teachers and threatening the ta. He's only been at the school a few months and ended up being sent home. Luckily all the other kids are very well behaved. I'm going to make sure that I don't put myself into a situation where he could hurt me.

Bunny, that sounds like quite an eventful day at work!
As it turned out, the chicken I had left at home went further than I thought so I had enough for my salad, phew!
