Morning Coco - glad to hear about your scan date!
AFM: I wasn't sick at all yesterday until after my dinner. I had fish cakes and they were a bit too fishy for me at the moment so they clearly didn't agree with me :(
Does anyone have any ideas for plain dinners? My freezer is full of things I can't stomach at the moment!! x

Morning ladies, just sticking my big head in to say good luck to CJ! Looking forward to seeing your scan picture later.

Browny - perhaps things like homemade chicken kebab (grilled chicken breast, pitta, and salad of choice (we usually have lettuce, onion, peppers and mushroom)...sauce or mayo if you can stomach it. Jacket potatoes, omelette (with whatever filling you can manage). I'll have a think of some more!
Imp - Good to see you and that lovely ticker...yay to 16wks! :-)

Morning! Happy Tuesday and good luck CJ!!
Browny, when I was really nauseous, I just ate anything I felt like, whether appropriate or not. So toast or porridge for dinner, or we'd plan something, OH would start prepping it, i'd get in late form work and decide I didn't fancy it and we'd have to start dinner again! Fun times :-)
Coco, glad you finally have your scan date!
Well, it's hubby's 40th today, he was up and out earlier so haven't really seen him, but we're going out later to celebrate. Today I am meeting with the friend I should have met yesterday but it didn't work out, and I have to pop to the clinic to get bloods done (again!) in preparation for my enhanced Nuchal screening on 1st Feb. They give answers there and then, hence needing bloods well in advance.
Hope everyone else has a good day x

Thanks for the tips etc yesterday, unfortunately it looks like it's not just MS, but also something else - I've got aches, a temperature, a sore throat and the start of a cough so seems my lovely H has shared his germs with me. I'm quite glad actually as I don't know how I was going to cope feeling like that every day for the next however many weeks without being able to say anything. Not good timing as I'm supposed to be at a singing rehearsal tonight! Have to give it a miss I guess. So will be spending the day on the sofa, just checking work emails for anything important and watching the TV.
Coco - good news on getting your scan sorted.
Browny - urgh, the thought of fish isn't great, although nothing is for me at the moment tbh.
CJ - good luck for your scan.

Coco - fab news on scan date :) rubbish you had to chase it though!
Browny - I know the feeling!! We have been eating things like bacon muffins, chicken goujons & chips, potato waffles & beans, plain pitta bread pizza...I actually ordered findus crispy pancakes in the shop last week but when it comes to it I dont know If I'll bring myself to eat them - where they in the horse meat scare?!.
Im usually super duper healthy, salads, omelettes, spelt pasta, salmon & brocoli but I just cant at the minute either, Really looking forward to being able to cook / eat proper again!
Imp - hello!!
Barefoot - hope you have a great day, its lovely to hear you sounding happier / positive :) Good luck with the bloods!
Deedee - Hopefully a day of rest gets you on track - plenty of hot diluted orange & honey will help. I had a bug 2 weeks ago & like you I thought 'if this is morning sickness how the hell does anyone function'...
I didnt feel as sick yesterday & same again today so I am alot happier, wkend was really rough physically & emotionally, Me & OH went a walk last night & its was sooo cold but really cleared the cobwebs.
Hi to all who follow :)

Coco - thanks for the ideas, let me know if you have more!
BF - have a lovely evening with your H
DD - sorry you think you've caught something. Hope it passes soon. I know how much my cold last week took out of me so rest up!
SaSaSi - thanks for the food ideas! I love cooking fresh, healthy meals so its been really hard so far to find things I want to eat. I feel so guilty for eating so much crap but I guess I can only eat what I can stomach! Glad to hear you've been feeling better. Gosh I don't have the energy for a walk at the moment! I really need to do some exercise but just cant face it at the moment.

AFM..... scan went well!!! Lady wouldn't take my £5 as she thought the photos were not good at all, but to me they are perfect. He or she kept waving their little hands around. Was amazing to watch. Had all my bloods taken and so baby seems fine and thickness of neck well under the range (but subject to blood results of course) Went to our head office to tell the big boss in persohn who was really lovely about it and been congratulated by everyone in that office as well as my usual one (and of course all the women who say "I'VE KNOWN ALL ALONG BLAH BLAH BLAH"
Here is my little half french thing ;o)
