Hi ladies, just back from my nuchal scan and it was amazing! Baby is fine and everything looks like it should do, even got to hear the heartbeat which I thought sounded like a galloping horse (girl) but H thought sounded like a train (boy), so who knows! H will need to man up before labour though as he nearly fainted when I had my blood taken, I fear he's not going to be much use to me!!
Hope everyone else is ok x

Hi woowoo! Congrats on a positive scan :) will you be finding out the sex at your 20 week scan?
AFM S has an upset tummy which is hideous and I ended up getting in the shower with him earlier - yes, it's been that bad! Sorry, tmi! Apart from that, still being sick and just waiting for my booking in appointment to come through.
Hi to any that follow x

Hi Woowoo great news re the scan. Its going to be me that has to toughen up for labour, the thought of having blood taken is making me feel dizzy and sick :-( somehow I have made it to 33 without ever having a blood test and am dreading it.

Hi ladies, just a quick one from me as looking at my phone, or anything else is making me queasy.
Fab news on the scan woo woo!
Sorry S isn't feeling well popcorn!
Up until my first pregnancy, I'd managed to avoid getting blood taken too crl
Got an early scan on Thursday morning to check if wotsit is ok as I've had some bleeding over the weekend. Trying to stay calm, but have got it into my head to expect the worst. I keep worrying when I don't feel unwell that it's a sign that something is wrong.

RKB, big hugs lovely. I'm keeping everything crossed that it's nothing for you. Are you at work or at home atm? Hope you're able to take it easy x

I'm at home. Doctors told me to rest, and plus nausea is making travel difficult.

Popcorn - no we're not finding out, we're staying team yellow :) Sorry to hear about S's tummy, that doesn't pleasant at all, poor little mite x
CRL - I've managed until now without a blood test either! I'm a wuss and was dreading it, I told the man doing it beforehand so he just talked about rubbish to me all the way through. My right arm didn't hurt at all but for some reason he then needed to go into my left and that hurt a little bit, just like a sting, although it feels bruised now. But definitely not as bad as I'd been expecting!
RKB - Thinking of you and hoping that Thursday brings good news, which I'm sure it will. Try take it easy until then x
