RL - Try not to worry about not being a regular on here, life has a habit of getting in the way. Keep eating little and often as the may help with the nausea x
AFM - Nothing much to report. I still haven't heard from the MW about my 2nd attempt at the booking in appointment, hopefully she will contact me today. The nausea lessened a lot over the weekend but it's hit me already this morning. I'm off to B&Q with the kids to get some stuff to sort out the chicken run but other than that, I'm hoping to have a lazy day, especially as they woke me at 5am...
I hope everyone has a good day!

RL - Oh no, this is going to sound a weird one but it helped give me energy last time. It was something the acupuncture woman suggested to me - get some cheap lemonade, boil it up so it goes flat and drink it as a warm drink. It's very strange tasting but will help boost sugar levels if you're struggling to eat anything.
DS - hope you hear from the mw today and you defo deserve a lazy day after a 5am wake up call.
Saffron - so glad to see your update from yesterday. How amazing was that?
AFM - 5+3, H is going to pop to dr after work and fill out the form to be put on the mw's list. Even though we won't hear from them until 9/10 weeks, at least it's done.
Hi to all who follow.

RL - sorry you're suffering with nausea. this is my 3rd pregnancy and I was the same as you with the other 2, some days I thought I'd rather be throwing up than just constantly feeling like I wanted to. I retched a lot too especially with my 1st - not good!
DS - 5am starts are not good, I've had a couple over the weekend too! Hope you manage to have a lazy day and the MW gets back to you.
S - I have my docs appointment on Friday, I checked with the surgery to see if I could register directly with the MW as it seems like a waste of an appointment to me, but I have to see the doctor. Your surgery's method sounds more sensible!
JJ - thanks. There was a group of about 15 of us ranging from about 15-70 years old so we all just walked round, it probably took just over an hour. I hope you enjoy your lazy days and get lots of naps in!
Not much going on here, back to normal so nursery for my eldest this afternoon and then bookbug for me and O. I've got a meal out on Friday, where I'd normally be drinking, I think I'm going to say the girls were playing up, making me late so I'll have to drive! I don't think I'm going to be able to keep it secret until scan time but we're at least trying to hold out until H's mum comes to stay in 2 weeks so we can tell her when she's here.
Nice to see the thread a bit busier, hope everyone has a good day x

Hey all, hope you've all had a good day.
Lovely to see you back Rioja, hope your meeting went ok.
DS - I find that the more tired I am the worse the nausea, maybe it's the same for you? Hope you managed to get some rest!
Sapphire, good thinking with getting on the list, hope you're feeling ok for now.
JJ - yes, they're huge! I managed to find a reasonable animal print one, but my other one is awful! I miss my lace and silk! Very jealous of your time off work, I'm soooooo tired!!
DD - hope you manage to keep up the bluff, good luck!
AFM - we are off to a Kooks gig tonight and I'm dreading it! I love them, but I bought the tickets months ago...the thought of standing for hours surrounded by drunk people makes me want to cry! Only two more days at school this week as I'm in uni on Friday...literally counting down the hours!
7 weeks today

Back from the gig and loved it, so glad we went, I really love the Kooks!
Will need to give my lovely PP RKB a huge hug when I see her next. She recommended irn bru to me yesterday, I tried it tonight and it is a miracle cure!!!
Off to bed now, night everyone, x
