morning everyone. Not been on for a couple of days. I hope everyone's ok? Good luck to those with scans coming up. We need to see pics after by the way!!

Had a busy ish weekend, swimming and meeting up with my sister and her boyfriend on saturday. House work and walk to the park and back on Sunday. Work yesterday. I have however felt baby move at last. Only tiny flutters but thats something. I've also completely smashed my phone screen so posting is a bit o a nightmare as im peering at the screen through the cracks!! Sorry for any typos.

Hope everyone has a good tuesday xx

Hello Mrs B - Oh no! I hate broken phones. My is currently just misbehaving but I am due a new one. Just got to find the time to do the best deal.

Not much to repost from me other than baby sparkles is practicing synchronised swimming in there I think. She was off on one yesterday but bless her she seems to know when night time is and calms right down. Good baby! :-)

    Morning!

Mrs B yay for feeling baby at last!

LP you have a good one that settles at night! I've had a few sleepless nights and have felt some definite disco dancing, I have tried telling him that the hours of 11pm til 6am are for sleeping only but it's not really working ;)

Nothing to report here. Getting larger and baby getting kickier. Sleep getting more awkward. I have lots of work to do today but right now am being squished by a cat! Send a rescue party.

    Morning all,

MrsB - lovely that you've felt the baby move at last, hopefully you'll get lots more reassuring wriggles from now on. Sorry about your phone, that's rubbish, can you get the screen replaced?

LP - I love the idea that your baby is synchronised swimming! It does feel like that sometimes! Hopefully she'll always be nice and quiet at night for you.

TT - There are worse things in life than being squished by a cat, mine loves a snuggle up to my bump!

AFM - movements from the baby have definitely changed now, they feel a lot less like little wriggles and nudges and more like full on stretches and strikes to the ribs! When I saw MW on Friday she said that the baby was upside down with head on my bladder and I don't think much has changed. In fact, yesterday I think I was headbutted in the bladder, lovely! Just got to get through this week at work then a week off, woooo!

Popcorn I'm due an upgrade soon so going to try and manage as it is for now.

LP what a well behaved baby you have there!

TT hope the cat releases you soon (or not, you could be trapped under worse things!!)

    Morning All,

MrsB- Yey for baby movements! I have only started feeling definite movements the past week or so. Would it be worth looking at how much it would cost to fix the screen even so you could sell it on after your upgrade? I know if it's just the glass it isn't TOO expensive I don't think.

LP- I hope she always behaves at night time for you! I have actually been sleeping lots better too recently. There have been a few cases of waking up with leg cramp but generally just more comfortable, no idea why not I'm not complaining!

TT- You obviously have a party animal in there :) Being squished by a cat isn't always the comfiest but ours always looks so content that I suffer just to keep him happy! He is so spoilt..

Popcorn- Have you got anything planned for your week off work? I told H this morning that I feel in need of some time off.

AFM- Went to the cinema to see World War Z last night. Was okay but not something I would rush back to see! H said this morning 'I feel really refreshed this morning because we had an early night'.. erm.. no.. We went to bed at midnight and I feel awful. 7 hours really isn't enough any more!

    Good morning!!

MrsB, I cracked my screen a few months back, (drunkenly droped it, numerous times!) the screan just had 1 big crack but it landed where the areal was and duffed it up! Had to send it off to get fixed!

LP you have her well trained already!!

TT there was someone on here (maybe Sam) that was looking at maternity pillows to help with sleep, not sure if that would be any use to u?

Popcorn- i have next week off to between jobs. are you off anywhere or have any exciting plans?

Sam I cant wait to see that, it has had some iffy reviews though! have u read the book?

AFM- we have a lovely sunny day today which is nice but means my hayfever is playing up! Hoping Midwife can sort me out with something next week. Still waiting for my exemption certificate though!

Last week at work so clearing emails and draws! Fun!

TT- I was looking at maternity pillows but haven't actually gotten anything yet! I've actually been sleeping lots better the past few nights so it has gone out of my mind for the time being until it sends me insane again! haha I think LP has one though so might be able to offer some advice?

MrsBass- Noo I haven't read the book yet. Is it worth a read then? I just think there have been quite a few similar zombie/ epidemic type movies out in recent years that it seemed a bit samey? It definitely wasn't the worst and I didn't walk out thinking 'well that was 2 hours I will never see again' like you do after some but I won't be buying the DVD! Hope the MW can give you something for your hayfever. Are you going to be busy this week or is it wind down week at work?

no, my H has and from what he has said the book it quite different. I decided that i might be more disapointed by the film if id read the book so im saving it until after Ive seen it! I do love zombie movies!

quite a quiet week really, deleting emails and bookmarks at the moment! Probably towards the end of the week it will hit people that im going and they will start badgering me for stuff!

Sam - shame the film wasn't up to scratch, H fancies seeing that but I've not heard great things about it. We were going to try and have a meal out on Saturday night and then watch Man of Steel. Didn't go to plan as the restaraunts were all booked and so was the film. Ended up with McDonalds and Hangover III (terrible).

Mrs Bass - sorry your hayfever is playing up, it's the worst. I've managed to escape it this year thankfully, hope your MW can sort you out with something.

We have booked a couple of days at Champneys in Forest Mere, H gets a good discount with Pru so we've got two nights away and I get a Beautiful Bump treatment included which I am beyond excited about! Apart from that, H will be decorating the baby's room and I will be sitting down with my feet up, look at paint charts :)

That pillow looks nice LP - I'm currently bidding on a Jo Maman one on Ebay but the Kiddicare one is my next choice if I don't win the bid!

Thanks all for the pillow advice - LP I will have a look at that one. Some nights are fine but others I can't get comfy at all! I have been using a spare normal pillow which helps sometimes but sometimes it all becomes a bit of a nightmare space-wise as H gets hot and tries to throw his half of the duvet onto me, I am wrestling with my pillow, and then a cat normally tries to lie on my feet or behind my knees! Aaaargh everybody go away!!! I think I need a bigger bed!

Tina - I had a normal pillow at first but then I needed another and there just wan't the room. I was shocked at the £40 for the summer kiddicare one but it is so worth it and it can be used afterwards for baby, or feeding etc.
