I'm looking forward to the warm weather today. Glad the dcan went well yesterday twink.
I did read the thread last night, but unfortunatley work is getting in my way of getting on here!
Not much to report here. Baby has been giving me a good kick this morning after being a bit quiet over the last couple of weeks which is good. some of the parents only noticed yesterday that I was pregnant as I didn't wear a fleece r coat to see the children out. Still waiting for my bump to get bigger though. I feel like it's not growing!

Morning bunny, I find my bump goes through growth spurts rather than being continuous, sounds like you're due a spurt!
AFM - l lovely afternoon in the sun yesterday, Alex was on cracking form, very cute and funny. I must remember those times next time he's throwing a tantrum because I gave him green grapes rather than purple or something equally as drastic.
Baby wise, movements are getting a bit more thuddy and I think my nights of sleeping on my front are numbered, boo! 50 hours until scan, eeeeek!
Found out another baby group friend is due a couple of weeks before me, so that's
5 people I know due within 2 weeks of me and 3 more due in June, maybe this baby will have some of his / her own friends rather than just their brothers!
24/04/2013 at 07:47
Bunny - warm weather? We should be so lucky! Glad baby has been a bit more active.
BG - lovely to have so many little friends for your little one, and people on ML same time as you. One of my best friends is due the week after me so it'll be nice to see her more often. Kids are the cutest, my niece comes out witht the best lines!
AFM - think I'm sorted with baby clothes now, have stocked up on a few basics in 7.5lb and 10lb size. Dont want to buy any more until we know the size and sex of little bean. Keep seeing cute pink/blue stuff I want to buy so cant wait until he or she arrives! 27 weeks today which is madness, think I'll move over to 3rd tri after this week. 3 more working days til holiday, and quite busy ones so hope they go quick!

And Bunny its not Tuesday it Wednesday!!
24/04/2013 at 07:50
Haha, I didn't even notice the Tuesday in the title. Blame it on baby brain Bunny!
PC - you're so damn organised! Do you have anything left get?
24/04/2013 at 07:57
Bunny, glad you are getting more movements. You had me all confused with Tuesday on the thread title!
BG, not long till scan now! How lovely to have lots of people due around the same time.
Porkchop, you are very organised!
AFM, looks like lovely weather here today again, Joshua has a friend coming to play after school so hoping they can all just go out in the garden and play. We're off swimming today then into town for a wander, and then some housework this afternoon. Baby was super wriggly yesterday which was nice, and no more work till Monday which is fab!
We still haven't found out any more about the police being outside school on Monday which is really odd for this village, I'd expect the rumours to be in full flow by now!
24/04/2013 at 08:10
Morning all, I'm cautiously stepping into 2nd tri... I have hardly been on MD recently due to starting a new job but will make more effort! I'm 14+1 today and had hoped the morning sickness would have gone by now, but sadly not! I already have my 20 week scan booked in but have to book the 16 week appointment with MW soon.
24/04/2013 at 08:24
Bunny - great you are getting more movements
BG - EEEEK scans nearly here :)
Porkchop - bet you cant wait for holiday :)
Margot - wish i had no work til monday! you day sounds lovely.

Morning Bunny! I’m sure if parents can tell you’re pregnant then your bump is growing perfectly :) I feel a bit in between where I can’t decide if the bump is small or massive!
BG, love that you’re now counting down in hours!! Not many to go!
PC, I know what you mean about clothes. Even though we know we’re team blue, we don’t really know how much we’ll get given or how much we’ll need. Good luck on 3rd tri! I’ll see you there next week!
Margot, glad you’ve got good weather. Rainy and cold up here :( Hope you find out the gossip soon!
50s, welcome to 2nd tri! Hope MS subsides soon
Twink, so glad your scan went well. Have you been looking at pink things now?
AFM – the baby was very quiet all day yesterday which was worrying me, but he perked up when I had an ice lolly. Already felt him this morning so think everything’s okay now. Just counting down the days to the weekend as I’m not in work next week! I’m off to Centerparcs with my family and can’t bloody wait for a break!
Ha, didn’t notice the ‘Tuesday’ either!!
24/04/2013 at 08:44
BG - not too much left to get really, just bits and bobs! Will sort my hospital bag when we get back from holiday. Need to order crib and mattress. And silly stuff like a thermometer, nail scissors, nappies etc. Its my first, and I want to enjoy the last 4 weeks of freedom on ML that I'll ever have, without worrying about stuff needing to be sorted!
PW - know what you mean about the holiday, I cant wait til Sunday, H really needs a break and it'll be nice to have to do nothing!
Twink - see above, I really need a holiday!!!!!
Hi Mrs 50's!!!
24/04/2013 at 09:41
PW - yes, payday tomorrow and shopping saturday with my mum & my gran :D eeeeek
24/04/2013 at 09:43
Morning all, I seem to only get on here once or twice a week, I don't like using forums on my phone/ipad and those are my usual forms of connection to the interweb world!
I also didn't notice the Tuesday in the title
Bunny what BG said... my bump seems to grow in spurts too :)
BG hurrah not long to wait until scan now!
pc where are you off on hols?
Margot I'm envious of your nice weather - we had one nice day then that was it. Raining today which is a real pain as have loads of washing to do in preparation for going on hols later this week.
Mrs 50s, welcome!! Hope you start feeling better soon.
twink YAY for belly pops!
PW oooooh centerparcs, lovely :)
AFM - I can't believe that I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow... the first 3/4 months of this pregnancy really dragged, but finally over the past couple of weeks I've started to feel more like myself and it's been going much more quickly.
We're off on hols on Friday which I am so looking forward to - a long weekend in Devon then up to see family in Worcester, they have a farm and it's so lovely there for George, he feeds the lambs and goes on the quad through the fields - certainly makes him sleep well at night!
Haven't really done much to get organised for this baby, we'd done loads by this stage with G. Not much to do in reality though I guess as we have so much stuff already. Have dug G's old stuff out and gone through what we're keeping, just need to make a start on the washing but that can wait till the weather is better. Need to dig car seat, sling etc out of loft. Also need to get a crib and a bouncy chair, but some friends have offered us theirs so that's good.
Mat leave wise I've submitted my request and just waiting to hear back. Have asked to finish on 4th July 2013 and go back on 2nd September 2014!! That'll be the longest I've had out of work since I left university!
Have a good day all!
24/04/2013 at 09:53
It took me a while to work out that this was today's thread
Bunny sure it's growing, some days I'm massive others just a little bump
Bg not long till scan, nice to have others due around the same time
PC glad your all organised. After my post on fb I think I need to get some more clothes for poor baby D compared to everyone else
Margot sounds like a nice day planned, your village sounds like ours, you can't sneeze twice without it going round
Mrs50s nice to see you over here!
Twink woo to the belly pops!
PW glad he's perked up after your ice lollies
PW centreparcs sounds great!
Afm had an incident at work where I got kicked in tummy and had a very small bit of spotting not long after on night shift on Monday. Went to antenatal assessment unit for a check, all fine. Baby was quite content and the spotting may have been related to slight cervix erosion from anniversary celebrations from the weekend ill be lucky if H comes near me again before August after that. Glad everything was ok was a bit worrying at the time. I've noticed that Baby D has certain awake times where he kicks alot and then sleepy time. Awake time is always 10-11pm and 8-10am. H keeps feeling him move now which is lovely

Noodles - I got roughly 10 vests and 10 babygrows in each size. You can get some quite good basics now, vests were 3 for £2.50 in tesco, washed with softener I'm sure they'll be just as good as more expensive ones.
24/04/2013 at 10:16
Thanks PC that gives me a number to aim for, might get myself over to tesco at that price!
24/04/2013 at 11:58
Noodle08, you're right - I'm in High Wycombe so not too far from Oxford, where are you?
24/04/2013 at 13:35
Im in oxford centre so not far at all from you margot
