Awww AR that's pants sorry!! Stay in bed I'll let ya!
AFM I have my scan today I'm scared and I didn't sleep again. I'm so nervous they won't be able to do it! I thought the hard part was ttc, then I worried about getting through the first tri, now I'm worried about this scan, then I'll worry about my 20 week scan lol it never ends!!

AR, sorry to.hear you didn't sleep well. Have you been using a maternity pillow? I discovered I was sleeping worse with it than without so ive put it back in the wardrobe for nowx but then I've not got spd. Hope work goes fast, not long till scan now x
Monnie, good luck today hope all is okay. I would kick up a fuss if they can't do all the checks today as it was them that changed the appointment. Funny when you realise ttc was almost the easy bit compared to everything you worry about once you are pregnant.
SP, I hope you see this. Glad to hear all was well with baby, little monkey hiding from you like that!
I've got a poorly little girl today, she fell asleep on the sofa about 5pm yesterday, and has a temp, snotty nose, no appetite....according to her she's fine and wants to go out this morning, I think we will see how it goes! Hopefully getting our new boiler fitted today, if not it'll be tomorrow yay. Baby wise, all fine, lots of wriggles this morning, about to have brekkie that's usually when he seems to go hyper, after I've eaten, wonder if it's some kind of energy rush he gets? I've no idea.
Hi to all coming on later x

Ive been rubbish getting on here lately, work still very hectic!
AR sorry you didnt sleep very well. hope the spd eases for you too.
Monnie best of luck for todays scan. im sure everything will be fine.
WE hope your little girl recovers quickly. yes im sure baby is probably getting a rush prob why they dont recommend too much caffeine!
AFM not much to report baby wise. buying a few more things but will probably wait until after christmas for the bigger purchases like the pram.

Hi Mrs V, nice to see you. What have you been buying? So far I've bought baby a blanket and a lamaze toy, poor second child haha! Oh and a Moby.
My list looks like this:
Hats, bootees, mittens
New mattresses for pram and crib
Additional isofix base for car as H has changed his car and now has isofix.
Think that's it! Could probably get it all done in a couple of hours! But of course we already have all the big stuff, pram, cot, etc.

AR, that sounds pretty rubbish. I really hope you pick up soon.
Monnie, I'd like to reassure you, but you've pretty much got it spot on, in my experience! Good luck, let us know how it goes.
Weekender, your poor wee girl. Hope she feels better.. And good news about the boiler, not the time to be managing without!
Mrs V, what are you buying currently? All my baby shopping has stopped, I'm too excited about Xmas (saddo!)
AFM, getting wriggles I can feel a bit more, and the latest development is some leakage from one boob (as I recall one was always 'better' than the other!). Worked on something urgent at home until 1am, just can't crack it. Back in at 8am and still can't solve it. I *hate* being beaten, ha ha.
26/11/2013 at 08:31
Well my poorly girl is currently wearing dress up clothes and standing on the sofa because that's her stage apparently and is performing a show! Reckon the calpol has kicked in
Counter, it's annoying when something just isn't making sense like it should - I find either putting it to one side for a bit or talking through it with someone helps is become obvious! X

Ha ha! Love her style!!!

AR- Hope the spd eases for you.
Monnie- Good luck at your scan.
Weekender- Hope your little one is better soon. yay to lots of wriggles.
Mrs V- I love buying stuff but am trying to hold out for the sales after xmas.
Counter- Glad your getting lots of movements. Boo to being awake until 1am! Leaking boobs is something I am not looking forward to!
AFM- Well had scan yesterday and its a..... girl! Actually made me a little teary as altough I was happy with either but I would so love a little girl. Baby was so wriggly, contstanttly kicking around, yawning, had her head up near my belly button and legs in my pelvis. BUT she couldnt see the stomach bubble so we had to go away for half an hour and go back...then still nothing. Going back Thursday for another scan. Didnt sleep very well as was worrying but it was apparently seen in the 12 week scan so fingers crossed she had just emtied it right before the scan.

Oh Bertie, yay for a girl! They are fab xx Shame they couldn't see stomach, but if it was seen at 12 wk then it must be there, so prob nothing to worry about. And you get to see your little girl againon Thursday :) xx

Well would you believe that I was on at 7am and started the thread but it dropped off to the 2nd page?! GAH! That'll learn me.
AR - that's good news re your sister (from yesterday's thread!) Sorry to hear the SPD is giving you discomfort and keeping you awake.
Monnie - good luck with the scan....the worry is honestly never ending! Look foward to hearing how you get on!
WE - thank goodness for calpol!! Hope your wee one has a good day! I'll need to revisit my shopping list after seeing yours!!
Mrs V - we are thinking the same re shopping in Jan. Hopefully get some bargains in the sales!
Counter - snap!!! One boob leakage - niiiiiiice! Hope you have success at work today!
Bertie - congrats on your wee girl!!! Wonderful, fabulous, amazing news! I had to go back for a 2nd 20 week scan as well (heart and spine for me) it's lovely to get another opportunity to see baby!
AFM I ended up in the maternity assessment unit yesterday afternoon after not feeling a single movement from the baby in 24 hours. They checked the HB which was fine but no manner of cold water, lying down, prodding or waiting was getting baby to move and they wanted me to feel something before I left. They eventually sent me for a scan and baby was lying traverse, directly under the placenta with all limbs facing in the way so they said it wasn't a surprise I couldn't feel anything. Very relieved to have been looked after so well by the MWs. I still didn't feel a thing all evening but there's been movement overnight as had some lovely kicks this morning!
Has anyone had reeeeally sharp pains in their lady region? I assume its the new position baby has adopted but it keeps stopping me in my tracks its so sore! Anyhoo, I'm a happy girl today as it's all good!
26/11/2013 at 10:02
Bertie, so pleased you're happy at your news!!!!
Sweetpea, that must have been a worry. What a shame. Glad all is well. No pains like that, no. Well, maybe twice, like a shooting pain that shocked me, then nothing. How often is it?
26/11/2013 at 11:26
Its settled a wee bit but its pretty much constant at the mo. I used to get period pains like like - sharp shooting stabbing pains. I'm not worried and am sure its just the way bubs is now sitting but man its uncomfortable!

Hello everyone. Last day on 2nd tri for me, scary!
AR, sorry you didn’t sleep well. Good luck for your scan!
Monnie, good luck for your scan, I’m sure everything will be fine.
Weekender, hope the boiler gets done today! I’m not sure how you’ve coped without the heating on!
MrsV, what have you bought? We’ve done it the other way, all the big stuff is sorted and it’s just little bits we need now.
Counter, glad you are feeling more. Hope you can sort the work.
Bertie, lovely news! I’m sure the stomach is fine as it was seen on the 12 week one, try not to worry too much. Thursday isn’t too far away.
SP, great news that you’ve had kicks this morning!! These babies eh, they are so naughty already! I’m getting uncomfortable now, sometimes I have to jump up if I’m sitting down because of a sharp or weird pain. I think it’s just because they are getting so big, they’re bound to be poking bits they shouldn’t be!
AFM, I’m on the computer and actually logged in so managed personals for once! Baby wise all is fine, had my GTT yesterday and got the first growth scan tomorrow. We had a 4D scan at the weekend too and saw babies face which was lovely. I’m a bit down at the moment, really struggling with panic attacks and nerves, hoping it’s just hormones and I’ll be ok again soon. I hate feeling miserable for no real reason. Baby kicking away lots, it’s really funny to watch my tummy jumping around :) Looked at some fabric for the nursery yesterday, I found one I love but H isn’t keen so it’s back to the drawing board.
In other news, my baby has gone on heat! She’s not a baby any more :( not sure what to do as she really acts up when she’s confined, but I don’t want her bleeding all over the house. She hates the doggy pants too so can only have them on when I am watching her like a hawk.
Hope everyone has a lovely day anyway!

Hi all pleased everyone seems to be doing well.
Weekender -hope your little one is better soon.
Bertie-congratulations on your little princess, look at the extra scan in a positive way, you get an extra chance to see baby.
AR - Sorry the hips are bad, i am struggling with mine over night but so far all good in the day, are you still riding?
Monnie - Welcome, i am a bit rubbish and don't think i have been on since you moved over, hope the scan went well.
Sweetpea - i get the low down pain, consultant told me it is when my lower baby is feet down and kicking my cervix or one of the nerves round there, is always such a relief when he moves.
Counter - hope you have cracked it now and baby is still wriggling away
Mrs V - Have you decided on a pram yet? or waiting till after xmas to even look?
Not much to report here, can now see the babies moving if i watch from the outside, which is a bit freaky but makes me smile, and i am getting pretty enormous, customer assume at work i am due very soon and are quite shocked when i say i am due march oh well.
