Morning! I'm here lol
Welcome to the 2nd tri, I'm sure more ladies will be around soon. It's been quiet again. I'm guessing with the bank holiday.
I'm 16+6 today. Don't know where the time is going.
L and I walked A to school. He's playing Lego now and I've cut the grass but the rain has started so I e not brushed up or strimmed.
About to do some housework before getting A at 1230. Can't wait until they are in till 3 next week, feel like I can't go/do anything g just now.

Hi Isis! Welcome to 2nd tri :)
Hi Lavender, I used to hate the half days lol.
Ob, can you get a prescription for anti-sickness today? You poor thing :( xx
Me...26+4 and my back is bloody killing me :( Got a course later, introduction to dementia care so going to to take a cushion and paracetamol! Nothing else to report really, will be hitting 3rd tri on Thursday! :/
Not me but my brother's OH is in hospital today, havingcontractions at 32 weeks. She also has placenta previa, quite severely so may be a different name, so it is likely she will have to deliver. Vibes please for a safe delivery of my niece!

Hello! It is quiet this morning! I havent been able to get logged on since Wed so I feel like ive been away for ages!
Jem- hope you are doing ok.
Welcome to 2nd Tri Isis!
LR- you must be looking forward to getting some time to yourself back!
OB- that doesnt sound good at all! Have you spoken to the midwife?
Chimp- Lots of vibes for your niece and your brother's OH!
Well we had a great weekend at the festival, getting in and out of the tent started to get exhausting and it wasnt much fun haveing H's get drunk while i was stone cold sober! I also had to sit down and rest a couple of times while we were packing up the tent! It was a vintage festival and I was really pleased I managed to find enough outfits that I could fit in!
First thing Saturday morning baby was wiggling around and I put my hand on my tummy and felt a massive kick! It was very sureal but very exciting!! Considered waking up H but didnt think he would appreciate it! :-) Didnt have any movement yesterday though so i was trying to tell myself not to worry as Ive had it avery day (first thing int he morning or last thing at night) for over a week now. but i felt wiggles last night so i felt better!
We ordered the pram and crib yesterday adn we are going to collect the car seat tonight! I alo bought a changing mat! Im starting to feel rather organised!

27/08/2013 at 13:53
Chimp, hope all goes well for your niece
Mrs bass, what've you gone for? How exciting!
27/08/2013 at 14:22
Oh if you insist! this is the pram we have gone for, Joie Chrome in Jade (although I think its more Teal!) and the car seat
I got this changing mat at the colours match the rug we got from Ikea last weekend! they have a whole renage in Kiddicare which im quite excited by!
plus some bibs and muslins which are a bit boring! Next on my list is sling!
NLH- we were at Twinwood which is a Vintage festival. Where did you go?
27/08/2013 at 14:43
Mrs B - loving the purchases my crib is really similar
we went to Reading festival!!
27/08/2013 at 14:53
Oh lovely! I can't wait to get my pram! Have you decided on sling?
27/08/2013 at 15:24
ooh I think Reading would have been a lot more fast paced!!
The crib is the Kiddicare Classic one.
Cant make my mind up on the sling, think Caboo is top of my list at the moment. i love the idea of the wrap ones and this seend to be very similar, yet easier to put on!
27/08/2013 at 15:31
I do really like the caboo, I had a moby with Jude (my 4yo) and I've also owned my own sling library so used loads. I'm loving the colours on the hoppediz elastic wraps so I might be swayed!
27/08/2013 at 16:14
i've been given a baba sling, not sure how to use it so wil try stealing a friends baby to give it a go
27/08/2013 at 16:55
Nlh check YouTube for sling videos. They really helped me last time. I'm going for a Connecta again. The pattern I like is quite girly so also going to buy a mei tai from eBay for H to use.
