I think i give up trying to get this baby out! i have literally tried everything and they STILL wont budge! I've got a sweep booked for tomorrow, so FX that does something. I did at least get a better sleep last night, but i'm still knackered.
Baby out vibes to Bexy and Lamby, and anyone elsew

Baby out vibes to Bexy, Lamby and anyone else who needs them!

Morning, I'm graduating over to 3rd tri this week from 2nd tri. It makes it feel very real that I'm actually going to be having a baby! H put up the cot in the nursery yesterday as it was delivered at the weekend, so we will need to sort out some bits to figure out where the crib can go in our room and make a decision on what we want to put where. The nursery is the box room and there's now no space in it, although I know we've got lots of time still to move things around to see whats best.
RKB- hope baby doesn't keep you waiting much longer!
Baby out vibes for everyone that needs them. What an exciting time to come to 3rd tri with all these babies due!

Morning ladies, another graduating to 3rd tri this week - even though I've done it twice before, it's still a bit scary to think I'll have another one in about 12 weeks!
RKB, lots of baby out vibes for you.
Bunny, nice to see you here too, plenty of time to sort the nursery.
AFM, all good - MW yesterday, all well with baby, going for bloods on Weds as I have these anti-M antibodies which need to be kept an eye on so will wait to see what the levels are when they come back. Off to work today but last day of the week for me as I only do two days, full day of teaching and a staff meeting and H is away so I will most probably be shattered by tonight!

Hi *bunny* welcome to the 3rd Tri! Sounds like you're pretty organised! We still don't have a cot, but we're hoping to move soon, so baby will be sleeping in the crib in our room and the Moses basket in the living room.
21/05/2013 at 07:27
Hi Margot! Welcome to 3rd tri! Glad your MW appointment went well, and I hope your bloods go ok! What is Anti-M?
21/05/2013 at 07:42
RKB - more baby out vibes to you lovely! Hope LO makes an appearance soon, we dont want to see you here anymore! In the nicest possible way!
Bunny - welcome! Good to gets the big things sorted isnt it?
Margot - nice to see you again! Hope your day isnt too tiring.
AFM - physio last night, he gave me loads of exercises to do, and recommended a belt thingy so we'll see how we get on. No miracle cure obviously (other than birth)! Had antenatal yesterday whcih was about budgeting, and also bonding. This course is an NHS one and reading some things on here I thought it would be rubbish and we'd regret not going down the NCT route, but its good so far. MW this afternoon so another shorter working day!

Rkb... I know how you feel Hun... Sweep tomorrow may get things moving for you. Are you on raspberry leaf tea?
Bunny! Welcome to 2nd tri.. Exciting times getting the nursery sorted..
Margot.. Good to see you here! Glad all is well with you..
Afm.. One day until due date and no twinges either! Midwife this morning!
And baby out vibes to lamby and rkb... Lets get at least one b a this week girls! Xx

PC.. Missed you there. Glad you had physio. Hope the exercises ease things a bit...
21/05/2013 at 08:33
RKB - hope that a sweep gets things going for you. It worked for the last load of 3rd tri graduates so fingers crossed! Have you got anything nice planned today to take yoir mind off things? May also invoke the law of sod... Loads of baby out vibes
Bunny - welcome to 3rd tri! We had a play around with furniture this weekend and after a shuffle managed to get things to work so I hope that you are able to do the same.
Margot - another big welcome to 3rd tri! Glad that all is well with baby and I hope that your bloods come back ok tomorrow. Hope that your day teaching passes quickly
PC - hope that the physio exercises and support belt help you. Glad that you got a lot out of your NHS classes. We opted for the NCT which has been better in terms of meeting people rather than learning that much
Bexy - loads of baby out vibes to you also! I am taking the raspberry leaf tea capsules. How many do you take a day? Currently on 2 but wondering if I should up the dosage next week
AFM - am finding it so painful to sleep at the moment as can't stay in one position for too long without getting cramp or achy hips where my bones have softened ready for delivery. Had a lovely relaxing day yesterday with some naps which helped and then had my parents over for dinner in the evening. Today I have ante natal exercise class this minting then may do some baking this afternoon to take to our last NCT class this evening. As I said above, the course has been great to meet people in exactly the same poaition as us and I have already been out for lunch with some of the girls last week and am due to go for dinner next week with them again. H has also bonded with the guys who have set up a "dads club"!! Think it mainly involves playing golf, watching football and drinking beer!
Loads of baby out vibes to RKB, Bexy and Lamby...come on babies!!
Have a good day all x
21/05/2013 at 08:45
Ferbs.. I'm drinking the tea.. About 4 cups a day. I don't mind it but not sure it's doing any good! Sounds like a nice day you got planned.. Sorry to hear sleep is uncomfortable for you.. X

RKB - More baby out vibes for you!
Bunny - Welcome to 3rd tri, hope you manage to get the nursery sorted.
Margot - Welcome and good to see you again! Hope the bloods come back ok and your day's not too tiring.
PC - Glad to hear the antenatal went ok, I'm only doing the NHS class too so you've given me hope after lots of people telling me we should have paid for NCT (I can think of better things to spend that money on)
BB - Baby out vibes for you too!
Ferbs - Sounds like you've met a good bunch on your NCT classes. Not good about the sleeping though, hope you manage to get lots of rest through out the day.
AFM - I made it ok to France, hotel is awful though and I've had to move rooms once and I'm still not happy so may ask if I can move again. Not sure whether baby liked flying or not, it was so active for the whole of the flight... hopefully it won't be a nervous flyer :-)
Have a good day all!

RKB – fingers crossed the sweep gets things moving tomorrow, if nothing happens before then.
Bunny – welcome to 3rd tri, I still can’t quite believe I’ve reached 3rd tri already. I’m sure the nursery will be looking brilliant by the time baby arrives.
Margot – good to see you joining us over here! Glad your mw appointment went well, I’ve not heard of the anti-M antibodies, what are they? Hope today doesn’t tire you out too much.
Porkchop – hopefully the physio will help, even a little bit. Glad to hear your antenatal class was good last night, how many do you get on the NHS by you? Hope MW goes well this afternoon too.
Bexy – how was the midwife, I hope baby doesn’t keep you waiting too long.
Ferbs – we’re doing NCT for this reason, H wants to make some “daddy friends”, but we’re also thinking of doing the NHS ones too. Hope you’re not too tired later, however much I do love baking and eating the cakes – I’d also consider another nap, if you’re having problems sleeping.
Twinkletoes – I hope you manage to get yourself a better room sorted.
Baby out vibes to RKB, Bexy and Lamby!
AFM – not much to report, I’ve just had an email confirming NCT have taken our money and finally got a date for the breastfeeding session, it finishes at 10pm. Do these people not know I’ll be ready for bed by then!?! Baby is getting more and more active at the moment. I may or may not be around for the rest of the week. Mum is on holiday so I’m going to pick her up tomorrow morning and bring her back to ours (she can’t drive – but means I can pop in and see my grandparents, while I’m there). She’s staying until Friday – then Saturday, me and H are off for an afternoon tea, our last of our wedding presents to enjoy. Before heading off on Monday for our 1 night babymoon. So I’ll try and pop in every day but may just be on phone, so can’t promise any personals.
21/05/2013 at 13:26
TT - hope that you manage to sort out a better room and baby finds flying easier on the way back!
Sapphire - I think I may well have an afternoon nap after I have baked and done some washing! We have got loads from our NCT classes and whilst I understand that it's not for everyone, all my friends who have done it have said that it was worth the money from the support network and friends you make which I now completely understand. We also did the NHS class and found that it was informative but there was no time to properly meet anyone in the 2 hour session. Have a good week with your mother. Where you off to on you baby moon?

21/05/2013 at 13:50
Sorry, haven't been around for a few days again. Doing exceptionally well at hitting high marks on the hormonal-emotional scale recently - work has been rubbish and dealing with some family illnesses, so baby is taking a back seat. Feeling a bit better today though, just counting down to the weekend! This is my last 5-day week at work, got six 4-dayers after this one, then it's ML time! Been researching birth plans this lunch - think there's still lots to learn, but got NCT and NHS classes next month which should help.
Baby out vibes to Lamby, Bexy and RKB!!
Welcome to 3rd tri bunny and Margot!
PC, hope the exercises help some
Ferbs, who knew that bones softened! Every day's a school day! Glad you're getting lots out of NCT classes.
TT, hope you're having a nice time in France - is it a holiday?
Sapphire, enjoy the rest of your week and all your treats this weekend
Hi to anyone who follows!

Sorry MrsC, missed you on the next page! That's fab you've got a date and something to aim towards! 12th June sounds like a lovely birthday!
21/05/2013 at 15:23
Please excuse my lack of personals (you know I don't make a habit of it!) Still no labour but had to go to hospital this morning as it turns out this brown bleed that I've been having for three weeks isn't ok / normal, and wasn't a show so had to get checked over. Baby is fine thankfully, and though they're not sure what has been causing it, they found a polyp on the neck of my womb that could be the cause that they can deal with easily apparently post baby. They talked about keeping me in but as I'm booked in for induction on Thursday and baby and I both checked out fine they were happy to let me go - phew! So we've had our practice run to the hospital and I feel quite relaxed now, and ready for induction - have given up thinking anything will happen before!
Have a splitting headache hence not wanting to linger on the laptop, but wanted to let you know I'm still over cooking, and thank you for the vibes! It's my birthday tomorrow so won't be on, but FX baby Lamby will be here Friday-ish, all being well.
Hope everyone is well, welcome to Bunny and Margot and BABY OUT vibes to RKB and Bexy - Hope sweep is productive tomorrow RKB, and Happy DD for tomorrow Bexy if you make it until then! Can't wait to see both of your BAs xx
Thanks to all the third tri ladies - it's been lovely sharing our journeys x
21/05/2013 at 15:52
MrsC - good news that you have section date booked in! Must be lovely to know when baby is coming, I'm not good at all the waiting!
PW - sorry to hear that things have not been great lately but glad that you are now feeling a bit better. Hopefully your ML countdown will go quickly!
Lamby - wow sounds like you have had an eventful morning. Am pleased that there is nothing to worry about and you and baby are fine. At least they have identified the problem and can resolve it post birth. Happy birthday for tomorrow, hope you have a fab day - your last before being a mummy! Make sure your H spoils you! Sending you tons of best wishes and luck for Thursday, I can't wait to read your BA. I hope that the labour goes well and am excited to hear if baby is blue or pink! I agree, it's been fab sharing our journeys! x
