Cant believe I'm awake at this time. My husband has gone to Newcastle for the day (we're in berkshire) so has left at some ungodly time and now I can't sleep. Not much planned for the day, I've got to send a few work emails but then a friend is coming over this afternoon.
Hope everyone is ok. Baby out vibes to CK. Baby in vibes and best wishes to Weekender x

Will hopefully manage to post this, internet reception not good here. Bleeding is almost stopped thank goodness, and what is there is brown blood so no fresh bleeding. Didn't get scanned yesterday as they were too busy so have my scheduled scan at 9:50 this morning. Had second dose of steroids last night, during visiting which was nice, trying to distract M from the fact I was getting jabbed in the bum! But glad I've had them, will just help baby's lungs on a little bit. Hopeful I'll get discharged this afternoon some time, missing my girlie who was crying when she left last night :(
Hopefully no more bleeding for at least a couple of weeks, this one has to cook longer!! I'd be happy with another fortnight in there although longer would obviously be preferable! Going to ask to be signed off work now and going to chat with H about taking my mum up on her offer of coming to stay for a few weeks, as think it'd be best to put feet up as much as possible. We will drive each other mad but needs must!
Hope everyone else is ok, sorry to hear there's some early risers especially when you've been disturbed by someone other than bump! Baby out vibes for CK x

LD, how inconsiderate of hubby ;) enjoy your day
ABC hope work is okay
Weekender - masses of luck for the scan, and yes to staying off work now and yes to mum helping. Good call. You definitely don't need any unnecessary worry. Wishing your wee chap a few more weeks in the quiet and warm x
CK - how are you feeling in yourself? Hope it's not dragging too much now. Hope baby gets a wriggle on soon!
AR - yay to some decent sleep!
Isis - how scary! Hope the little boy is fine. :(
AFM - I stayed home y/day AND did no work from home. A first. And when I rang in I told them to get a temp in to cover off the latest super urgent set of work needed
for our refinance package. Told them I was at capacity. That's unlike me too. :) Feel rubbish, but not ill enough to be bedridden so leaving for the office shortly. Baby quite quiet last 24 hours, comparatively. Hello to those coming after :)

AR - Hope you are not too late at work, have a good day x
Isis - That's awful :-( sends a shiver down your spine. Hope the wee boy is ok. Hope mw goes well too x
Counter - Not too bad thanks for asking, would prefer baby to come now though but I guess she will when ready. Plus im dying to know if it is indeed a she!. Hope you are feeling better

LD - You are up early, hope you manage to get some rest later. Enjoy your quiet day.
ABC - Yes I've had achey legs and had some cankles by the end of the day last night.
WE - Glad the bleeding has eased. Hope the scan goes well later on. I don't blame up having your Mum to stay, sounds like a great idea if it means up can rest.
Mrs P - Hello, hope you are doing well.
Ck - Baby out vibes, hope you aren't waiting too much longer.
AR - We need a bump shot :) Glad you slept well with your pillow. I know what you mean, I'm a bit hit and miss with mine too. It will be nice to sleep without one!
Isis - Hope MW appointment goes well. Sounds scary about your son's friend, I hope he is ok.
AFM - In work early this morning, just about killed me ha ha. I'm hoping I don't have anymore early starts before mat leave! Only 13 work days left :) Nothing much else to report really, baby seems very happy in there at the moment.

LD- Sorry you were awake so ealy hopefully you can have a relaxing day
ABC- Sorry you were woken so ealry too
WE- Glad to hear it seems the bleeding is easing
CK- Sending you baby vies
AR-Glad you got a good sleep for once
Isis- I hope J's friend improves
Counter- Glad you're feeling better
MV- Now that must be a good feeling on the last 14 days before leave
AFM- I seem so much more spritely this week. The iron tablets have worked a dream. I have MW at 11am, I'm hoping that as the consultant wrote in my notes she's happy to wait for another scan until 36w and that my baby is huge, my small bump doesn't cause another call to the hospital for a growth scan.

Don't think I can function enough to do personals today! Had an awful sleep last night. Was pretty much wide awake from 3am. MW was generally OK yesterday. BP and urine were fine. She is still concerned about my blood levels. I know they are super low and I am sure it is taking more affect on my body as time goes on. I am really breathless.....even from walking most days. I have a repeat blood test on Friday so that they will be ready on Monday for my consultant's appointment. I have just got to the stage where I feel like saying just give me a blood transfusion (I ended up with one after my first pregnancy)
Didn't get back on to update you a second time about weekender yesterday. I am so glad the bleeding has stopped. Baby out vibes for CK too

Just chatting to a mum on the ward, her wee one was born at 34+5, just spontaneous labour. She was in special care two days and is now fine, breastfeeding fine and on the ward with mummy. I like stories like that, giving me hope!

LD- God thats early! Have a nice time with your friend.
ABC- Another early riser! My legs arent too achey, only when I do the stairs!
Weekender- Baby in vibes for you! Hope you can go home today and get some rest there. Sounds like a good idea to take your mum up on her offer.
CK- baby out vibes for you! Have you been told it's a girl or is that just an inkling?
AR- ha, I am the same with my pregnancy pillow, one night I love it, the next im throwing it. Hope work is ok for you.
Isis- How awful, hope he is ok.
Counter- That's good! You needed the rest as you work far too hard ;)
Mrs V- 13 days! I have 23 work days and cannot wait!
BLL- glad you are feeling better this week. Hope midwife goes ok.
S4- Sorry you didnt have a good sleep. Hope our blood test goes ok Friday.
AFM- Had another quite good sleep. I have used a different pregnancy pikllow these past 2 nights that seems better.

Sorry pressed too soon! Bbay wise all good, moving around alot in there! I am unsure whether to call midwife about the colour around my belly button or not. I am sure it's nothing but of course still worry.
28/01/2014 at 09:40
S4- Glad your BP and urine was good, hope they sort out your bloods
WE- I hope your scan settles you down a bit more. I have a work colleague that gave birth at 27 weeks. Her daughter did need a bit of help at the start but she's just got 4 A's in her A level mocks, being prem has done her no long term harm at all
Bertie- Glad you slept better. Contact your midwife if you're worrying. If a 5 min call will settle your mind it's worth it

Weekender- Thats reasurring. My newphew was born at 30 weeks and he is doing great.
