Morning Custard, i too am fed up of sore hips - esp in bed. No advice tho, as not sure there is anything that can be done :-(
I've been awol for a few days - partly because the mobile forums are driving me nuts (is it possible to turn off the Annabal karmal advert? cos it pops up every time i refresh or press back. arrghh - and partly because i've been busy with my Dad & sister visiting over the weekend and dragging me + LO out xmas shopping to Oxford.
I think i have another UTI as ive been getting mild period type pain just above pelvis. Midwife tomorrow so she will confirm! Actually midwife is coming to my house to do homebirth assessment / talk / /whatsit. I have made H take the day off - as last time, i 'knew' all the info .... but it would have been much better for him to know it, so i could get on with giving birth, LOL!

Custard- eeeks!! How did that happen?! Keep me posted on MW appt! Good luck that things are moving in the right direction!
HF- sounds lovely with the shopping but not with the suspected UTI. Hope if it is that, thy can get you sorted.
Mrs P- morning! Boo to the bad sleep but glad you can rest today!
MDD- oh no poor you! I have no experience of them, just know that theyre not nice! :-(
Arghhhh custard- im now third in line! Eeks!
AFM- had a very productive day yesterday. Sorted out and washed baby clothes, cleaned, washed, ironed, sorted out the nursery and then like an idiot, sliced the fleshy part on my hand. Below my thumb with scissors, trying to open a box! Rang my dad and he raced round, first aid box in hand. Thought it may need stitches but seems to be ok so far! I know I was trying to get everything done, that my prolrm, I just dont know when to slow down, ha!
Today ive put a yummy chicken in red wine casserole in the slow cooker for tonights dinner and m meeting a friend for lunch. A much more chilled day!

Custard- hope the midwife app goes well and vibes for baby pointing in the right direction!
HorseFan- sounds like a busy couple of days! Hope the UTI goes quickly!
Mrs P- hope you manage to catch up on your sleep!
MissDeeDee- that sounds horrible, so sorry but I can't help, can you get an appt at your GPs?
Gemini- that sounds painful! good old Dad to the rescue! hopefully this will warn you to slow down lady!!!
AFM- I am absolutely devistated that i have ripped my fave pair of maternity trousers! :-( they are only H&M ones so they were cheap and they have lasted me most of the pregnancy but they were so comfy and versitile! I notice a wearing patch the other day but thought they would last another couple of weeks. I was just thinking this morning that i hope my waters dont break while im wearing them. was putting them on fresh from the wash so they were a bit tight, i did a squat to help pull them up and "rrrrrrip" There is an obvious hole in the crotch! So upset! Going to see if my friend can fix tit with her sewing maching but im not hopeful :-(
Other than that, still got a cough and snotty nose, attractive!

Good morning all! :o)
Custard, Hope the pain eases for you soon :( x
HF, have replied on your thread but will say again, I hope your uti clears soon. It is horrendous isn't it, the pains I had last night were awful :( Oo another home birther, same as me! :)
MrsP, boo for bad sleep!
MissDD, no advice I am afraid but hope they go soon! Isn't pregnancy glam? :/
Gemini, yay for full term! Enjoy your more chilled day! :)
Umm....why is my name at the top of that list?! Eeeek!
Me, 38+5 and getting excited now. I haven't been, I have been quite chilled about everything but am impatient now. Just feel like we are stuck in limbo waiting! Met second mw yesterday, she was so lovely and completely crazy! Very happy with both midwives that we have and hope we get them both at the birth!
Backache has eased, been replaced with stabbing uti pains again. I always have high levels of protein, lucozites and nitrates but there is never an infection present so hoping something shows up so I can get treatment. Am guzzling cranberry juice.
It is bitter out there today so am home form the school run with tea and toast...and some online Christmas shopping! :o)
Have a good day x

Chimp- so happy you are pleased with both your midwives! Glad to hear the back ache has eased but not that you now have UTI pain!
I just walked over the road to get some lunch and I got a stitch on my way back!! Not happy!

Afternoon all. Just jumping on quickly again as I replied on the other thread this morning.
I'm a bit achey from boxing yesterday, did a lit of ab work and really feeling it in my lower abs today. I did a shirt leg work out this morning instead and think another hot aromatherapy bath is in need tonight. Looking forward to it already lol
Hope all those with pains etc get it sorted ASAP!
