lots of baby out vibes for mrs 50s!
39 weeks today and feeling very sorry for myself. yesterdays cold has got a lot worse so ideally I don't want baby to arrive while I'm feeling like this! Still getting lots of movement and bump seems high still so it doesn't look like its going anywhere anyway!
off to meet some friends for a coffee, hope the fresh air will do me good. Then have yoga later if I'm feeling up to it.
hope you all have lovely days

Morning banzy. Sorry you're feeling fed up. Hope you feel better soon.
AFM I had my flu jab yesterday got a bit of an achy Arm but not too bad. Taking Isla to meet a friend at soft play this morning then having my hair cut and coloured this afternoon. Baby still active but I also think bump has dropped a bit. Was quite uncomfortable lying in bed last night my hips/pelvis just constantly ache. Oh well no much longer to go now. Hi to all that follow xx

Banzy- sorry to hear your feeling fed up. Sounds like your keeping active though so hopefully that will help bring baby out
MrsB- Enjoy soft play and getting your hair done. Not much longer to go now
AFM- Nothing going on with baby, H keeps asking when he is coming, think he is getting very excited bless him. Think my mum might be coming over this afternoon. I will probably spend most of the day bouncing on my ball.
Baby out vibes for Mrs 50s and anyone else who would like them

Morning all - check me out, making it onto the thread before it several pages long. LOL
Hope your cold clears soon Banzy
MrsB - Was Isla early/late/on time ... not that its much of a predicater for a 2nd baby!?
MS - Tell your H baby will arrive when he stops asking ;-) Its like a watched kettle!
AFM - Feeling tired. Toddlers dont understand the clock change :-( But its a nice morning - sunshine & blue skys - so will walk into town to get fruit/veggies from market this morning and then i have someone round to measure for carpets for hall/stairs/landing this afternoon (not that we've finished decorating yet ...... and cant decide on which carpet either for that matter!)

Oh I have the midwife tomorrow for 32 week app. But i dont have a wee sample pot (as i dropped one off at the surgery for them to test after i finished antibiotics for UTI, but surgery didnt give me a new one) should i just ask for one at reception when i go to appointment tomorrow?
29/10/2013 at 08:13
Banzy- I hope u are feeling better soon!
MrsB- enjoy being pampered later
MummyS- its great ur H is so excited, I hope that question doesnt become annoying!
Lots of baby out vibes for Mrs50s!
AFM- I had lots of movements y.day evening, over night and this morning so I am very reassured!
As one of my friends left the party on sat, she said she would see me at my baby shower in aa couple of weeks! That was news to me! I though my best mate was planning something but just lunch for 2 or 3 of us! I told H and he was really annoyed that she had ruined the surprise so he is in on it too! I said I didnt want to know anything so that it is still a surprise & H and the friend wefe both a bit drunk so prob dont remember that I now know!
29/10/2013 at 08:16
HorseFan- my body doesn't seem to understand the clocks changing either! If u ask for onevwhen u checknin they will give u one. I forgot minefor an appointment and they gave me one there. Have a drink at home before u leave, there is extra pressure to wee when u are doing it there!

Mrs B - enjoy your pampering, and yay for bump dropping
MS - enjoy your afternoon with your mum and keep bouncing!!
HF - enjoy you walk to town x
Mrs Bass - glad you've had lots of movements and exciting about your 'surprise' baby shower!
29/10/2013 at 08:44
Morning all! Baby out vibes for all those who need them, I think we are heading for a day of MD twins/triplets/quads. Or at least I hope so!
Banzy - sorry you are feeling a bit miserable. Feel better soon and enjoy your coffee.
MrsB - glad the flu jab hasn't left you with too sore an arm. Enjoy your hairdressers trip, I hope they pamper you!
MummyS - my H is the same, I think he is getting unnecessarily hyped up by work colleagues who are asking him if there's any news every 2 minutes!
HF - yes just ask for a pot when you get there, I lost mine once so just sorted it at reception. One good thing about being pregnant is you can always wee on demand!
Mrs bass - ooh a (sort of) surprise baby shower! That will be lovely. You have a bit of time to practice your shocked face ;)
AFM - awake a lot in the night with cramps but I think it is my digestion rather than baby, it's difficult to tell as I am restless and groggy and so by the morning can't really remember properly what they felt like. I remember trying to monitor the feelings and count seconds but just kept dropping off then waking up again! Hmm. Off for a coffee with some of the ladies I did aquanatal with this momrning, and meeting another friend for coffee when he finishes work this evening, so a bit of an indulgent day of tea and coffee shops for me.

Banzy - hope you feel better soon!
Mrs B - ooooh that sounds like a good avo - I may book myself in for my first week on mat leave :o)
Mummy S - my H keeps getting waves of excitement too - and then drives the pram around the house for a while - boys!
HF - Ohhh I spent ages choosing carpets - and wish now I had gone for a stripey number on the stairs - my mum has just had hers done and it looks great!! Will they bring samples for you to look at as well as measuring?
TT - sounds like an ace day - enjoy :o)
Mrs Bass - that sounds ace - you'll need to work on your best surprised face!!
AFM - WFH again today , 2 big bits of work to finish but soo much nicer in comfy wear (I look a state) :o) Cant believe it almost November... maybe then it will start to feel real....... maybe!

Banzy- sorry you aren't feeling too good. Hope the fresh air and hot cup of coffee helps!
Mrs B- sounds like you have a lovely day planned. I know what you mean about the achey hips, it isn't good!
MS- I also have a H who keeps asking when baby is going to be here! Hope a day of bouncing moves things along for you.
HF- do they not give babies/ toddlers the clock change memo!? Yes, just ask for a sample pot when you get there. I often forget mine and have to do this!
MrsBass- glad baby is giving you lots of reassuring movements. Rubbish that your baby shower surprise was spoilt but it does sound likr a slip up I would make after a few drinks! Haha
AFM- I actually thought things were starting yesterday. Things feel different 'down there' and I went to the toilet and qas feeling a strange pressure. I got scared so jumped up and came to lie down in bed! Haha was also feeling quite sickly too but have woken up this morning and obviously it was nothing. Probably just baby dropping and being in a different position than I am used to.
29/10/2013 at 08:53
TT- booo for the rubbish nights sleep but yey for a day of coffee shops! I think cake must be tried in both too just so you can compare.. :-)
Weeme- it still hasn't started to feel real for me and its due date tomorrow! I'm convinced im going to be one of these people that forgets they have a baby and leaves it at the shops or something haha
29/10/2013 at 09:04
Hahahaa I know what you mean sam! reckon I may need post its by the front door! :o)
29/10/2013 at 09:13
Weeme- love the idea of your H pushing the empty pram around the living room. I have to admit although it can get annoying with him asking all the time, it is lovely to have him excited about his arrival. I think he is going to make an amazing dad, *wipes tear from eye*, feeling emotional today!
29/10/2013 at 09:21
Weeme - I agree with Sam, 2 days away from due date and although I want this baby out I don't think I've quite made the connection between "baby out" and "being a mum"!
Sam - I will do some cake sampling just for you ;) Hope your baby is getting ready to go.
29/10/2013 at 09:24
Morning Ladies, hope you're all well.
Banzy - Hope you feel better soon, I think you need cake with your coffee to help you feel better.
Mrs B - I so need a hair cut too. I keep trying my local place but no answer, I don't want to try somewhere new!
MS- Cute that your H is very excited, so is mine. I'm still at the terrified stage!
HF - How dare your toddler not get the memo that clocks change means more sleep not less! I'd be tempted to nip in for a pee pot today.
Mrs Bass - ooo... a baby shower! How exciting! I'd rather know about it so you can dress for the occasion better! If it was just lunch with a friend i'd prob turn up with bad hair and in comfy jeans not a nice dress!
TT- Enjoy your coffees and cakes!
Weeme - When do you finish work?
Sam- How annoying that the weird feelings were nothing :(
AFM - I had a very restless night so i'm all sleepy now, my hip and back are very sore today too. I need to have a hair cut. It's looking a big mess. My hairdressers aren't answering the phone which is very annoying as I don't want to have to go to somewhere new.
29/10/2013 at 09:29
not till the 7th... then having a week in the highlands (a bit risky I know - but have made contact with the team up there so fingers crossed!!)
Ive just seen a pic of this cake - and actually really want a slice now!! (thought I would share the temptation!!)
29/10/2013 at 09:34
I will start practicing my 'oh, what a surprise' reactions!
Tina- make sure you have lots of cake with your tea and coffee too!!
weeme- im not sure yet when its going to start to feel real, probably not until im holding our baby!
Sam- maybe it sthe start of things, baby might be getting ready!
Custard- that is a good point!! Now I have to work out what to wear!! Hope you are feeling better soon adn managed to get hold of your hairdressers, sounds liek you need some pampering!

Morning all, lovely busy thread already!
Banzy, enjoy your coffee date and yoga if you go... the thought of even getting down onto a yoga mat exhausts me!
MrsB, sorry you're achey but I'm hoping it's a good sign - baby must be dropping and pushing on your pelvis? Enjoy soft play.
MS, enjoy ball-bouncing (ooer!) I find it pretty comfy so it's no great hardship to be on it plenty. We'll bounce these babies out!
HF, hope the MW appt goes ok tomorrow. You could just do a sample when you get there - I did once for the same reason. I was paranoid about their being glucose in my urine (as my BMI is high and they were obsessively looking for it / expecting GD) so I ddn't eat breakfast until after I'd done the sample but I expect it's not really necessary especially if you have a couple of hours between eating and sample.
Mrs Bass, lovely that you're getting a 'surprise' baby shower - you can carry on pretending you don't know, but look forward to it more!
TT - a day of coffee shops sounds like bliss!
Weeme - how long until you're on maternity leave?
Ooh Sam, maybe you will actually have a due date baby?!
