No updates from counter yet, I hope she's just not in reception and has Baxter safe in her arms by now. And Bertie, hopefully something exciting has come from your show yesterday.
it's looking like a nice sunny day here today. I'm off work and taking J to a cafe with soft play and meeting some friends this morning, not sure what we're up to this afternoon. Then this evening we're having someone round to do a house valuation- we've been wanting to move for a while and we're just taking the first steps to see where we stand financially. It's going to be a bit messy probably though after a day of J being at home- hopefully they'll look past it!
Hope everyone's well, and baby out vibes to counter if still needed, Bertie and Trifle.

Hopefully the thread being quiet means there are lots if babies here or on the way!
SG your day sounds lovely, enjoy the sunshine. Are you planning to move far SG?
AFM I made it swimming yesterday, it was great, I really enjoyed it and I didn't end up hurting my hips or anything so I'm defo going to make more effort to go regularly. Gorgeous sunny day here today but I'm working, at least everyone will be in a good mood.

Have been checking for Counter updates, hope all is well.
SG your day sounds nice :) haha I'm sure they will. Did you want to move area or just change size etc?
Imp glad you enjoyed the swimming! Shame your at work when it's lovely outside bit like you said it normally puts everyone in a good mood :)
Well I just had more of my show when I got up. Got some tummy pains but nothing really painful. I'm just waiting for something to happen! Have midwife tomorrow so if nothing by then maybe she will do a sweep. Sleeping quite well though apart from sore hips and legs, I don't think my body can take the weight of my bump anymore lol. Out for lunch with mil today and that's all my plans for today.

Hiya everyone! Haven't seen anything from Counter since last night, but apparently Baxter was nice and comfy in there at that point. Hopefully something happened overnight, though.
SG, I hope the valuation brings you good news and you can get started looking. Seconding everyone else's questions, too!
Imp, swimming is great! Not that I actually properly swim anymore, but being in the water feels amazing, doesn't it? Hopefully you can get outside during lunch to enjoy a bit of the sunshine today.
Bertie, hopefully something happens pre midwife so you don't need a sweep, but all exciting none the less. Do you have a PP?
AFM, work today, and another probably slightly awkward evening out with random pregnant couples at the pub at an event called 'bumps in the pub.' Hopefully less awkward than last time, but Ant is coming with me and he doesn't really do chit chat or small talk.
Hi to all who follow, I'll come back on at lunch, hoping for more news!

Imp, I'm glad swimming was good. I had good intentions of going, but haven't made it. Maybe once I'm off work! Hope work is nice and chilled.
Bertie, it sounds like things are starting at least, hope today is your day! Hope you have a nice lunch.
Wispa, the bumps evening sounds like it has the potential to be great or awkward depending on who else is there! Hope it's the former rather than the latter.
We're looking to move within York or the surrounding villages, so not far, it's motivated by wanting more space (our 3 bed seemed perfectly roomy for 2, less so full of 1 baby's bits, and I think will be a bit squished with a toddler's toys and a baby's- jumparoos take up shedloads of floor space!) and by needing to move to be in the catchment for a better school. Our local one was great, and had a great ofstead, but then they decided to merge it with a failing school to try to improve the failing school, so now the school has lots of kids from a rougher area, and is going to be dragged down. I know it makes me really snobby, but I want my kids to have the best opportunities possible so want then to get a good education.

SG, I love York, it's so pretty. Good luck for the valuation later, I hope this is the first step towards you finding your dream home. Enjoy the soft play and catching up with your friends!
Imp, so glad that you managed a swim yesterday and that your back and hips are still fine today. I'd love to go swimming but our local baths have closed down and it just seems like too much of an effort to get myself to the next nearest one. I'm so lazy! Wishing you a speedy day filled with nice and happy clients :)
Bertie, eek to more show! I hope this is the start of things happening for you. Enjoy lunch with your MIL, and good luck for the mw tomorrow! I hope things will have started by then, but if not I hope she can get things moving a little for you with a sweep. So exciting!!
AFM, was woken up at 7am by a phone call from John Lewis to say that they'd be with me in half an hour to deliver my pram! Just as well they rang in advance because when I got up my top was wet - I've leaked for the first time! It feels very weird and I feel like I've stuffed a couple of sanitary towels down my bra. Big day, pram and leaky boobs lol!
Here it is, it's so beautiful, I love it! (The pram, not my boob lol!)
Hi to all who follow, lots of baby out vibes to everyone who wants them x

Wispa hope work is ok for you. Bumps in the pub, sounds interesting! Hope you have more fun this time.
SG not too far then. Hope it all goes smoothly for you. I totally understand about the school thing, not snobby at all! We are moving to a village up the road and they have an outstanding ofsted, just hope it stays that way until our little one goes there!
Figaro that pram is a beaut! So exciting when it arrives :) we wish we held out for the 3 but was a bit risky as so close to due date, so got the 2 but I still love it. I would have got that colour too. Leaky boobs, it's all so glamorous isn't it! Although I haven't had any leakage yet I'm sure my day will come!

Sorry wispa didn't answer your question, Purplestar is my PP :)
15/04/2014 at 10:56
Sorry Wispa, I didn't mean to miss you out! Hope Bumps in the Pub is fun, it certainly sounds interesting!
Bertie, what colour did you go for with the 2? I wanted the 2 originally as I was very panicked about the 3 not turning up on time, but John Lewis said they only had bits and pieces left in stock and that I would probably have to mix and match the colours, so I took the plunge and went for the 3. I played with the 2 in the shop and there really doesn't seem to be a lot of difference other than colours. I love it :)

We just went for the black in the end. I loved the silver mint which was the light greyish one bit H was worried it would get dirty easily, however your colour is darker so would have been perfect!
