Oh wow how has it been?
Im ok generally just really really tired atm which is hard as I also have a 7 year old and 3 year old but struggling through :)
And after we got over the shock we realised how lucky we are and yes a double blessing xx

Well I was like you, had to get past the shock and joy first :)
i found out at 8 weeks on a reassurance scan.. I had a miscarriage previously so I was so nervous throughout my pregnancy but luckily I didn't suffer from sickness but I did have the awful back pain, the regular toilet trips (two little monkeys on the bladder) and the struggle of getting comfy at night but totally worth it.
The consultant was aiming for me to get to 37-38 weeks then if twin 1 stayed head down I could choose vaginally or c section but my little terrors made a surprise appearance bang on 32 weeks. My first pregnancy so I was so scared I hadn't been to antenatal classes etc.. but everything was so quick and smooth, hospital staff amazing. I had them both naturally with labour under 3 hours.
The boys were in Neonatal Intensive care for 29 days under the special care unit just so they could grow, learn to feed and regulate temperature. Now they are thriving 6 month old boys. I'm so proud of them. Defo take on all the help you can get. I used to push people away and say no it's ok il be alright but I quickly changed and asked for support where possible. Routine is key with twins. they eat and sleep same times together. When u go out u have people come up to you saying same stuff - are they twins? Oh rather you then me. Twins must be so hard... well their a joy, can be hard work but I love watching them grow, knowing they have a best friend for life and how they interact with eachother is beauriful. Double the cuddles and kisses.

We found out at 12 weeks and I am now 14 weeks. I have had some major food aversions but that is getting better now and the toilet trips are a nightmare at night. I hate it already!!!
I gave birth to my other two children naturally but I am considering an elective c section this time round although I haven’t met with my consultant yet I think it is recommended for identical?
I am more nervous this time round as I feel like there are so many more things that could go wrong :/ tying to stay positive though. Xx
