We've just seen that Mary Portas (below), the TV star who was also the government's 'shops tsar', has said she thinks women should get full pay while they're on maternity leave – and it should be their call when they come back to work.
"I genuinely believe we need to sort out maternity," Mary told the 5th annual Fortune Most Powerful Woman International Summit, in London. "I think you should be paid fully.
"I’ve just done it with two of our directors, I’ve just paid them [in full], and you see the love that comes back. They come in with a baby under their arm, breastfeeding, they hold meetings – you don’t put a time scale on this.”
Mary adds, "It’s the one biggest thing that stops women from taking that big leap and it shouldn’t do, because the most important thing so many of us do is have children."
But what do you think?
Is Mary right? Should we be able to take as much maternity leave as we want? Would it make us more likely to return to work enthusiastically?
Or is she wrong? Is it a completely unworkable idea?
We'd love to know what you think. Please do let us know by adding a reply to this thread. Thank you!

I would LOVE that. Don't think my boss would agree in a million years, though!
