How are you getting on?
Can you believe our babies are almost 4 weeks?!
How is the feeding going? Iris is fairly regular now every 2-3 hours during the day and more like 3-4 overnight, last night she went 4.5 hours an it was bliss! She's finally sleeping in the hammock instead of on me so we're all sleeping better.
Luckily my H works from home and goes out to meetings froth home so I have help in the mornings as logistically I don't know how I'd get all of us up and breakfasted without him! I must practice!
First ever solo bedtime with two children tonight, god only knows how I'm going to do that! N likes to sit in us for stories and have a cuddle before bed which coincides pergectly with Miss I feeding usually, H has been putting Ned to bed while I feed Iris but who knows how I'll do it tonight?! Late bedtime maybe for N?!
Are you on Facebook VE? Xx

Hey chick, I was going to put a post out for you but can't start threads on my phone.
We are doing ok so far. H is still off work so not had to go solo and he is a shift worker so next Monday I will be on my own from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. I have no idea about bedtime...
Feeding is going ok especially as last time I couldn't do it. We are still feeding with shields and hopefully getting her tongue tie snipped next week so it should improve. We are on about the same feeding schedule but she is taking a while to settle after feeding at night. Last night she fussed all evening which is normal for her, fed again around 10 then went down from 11 to 3.30 which was lovely then another feed and she took an hour to go back off so was back down at 5 then up again around 8. We have had a couple of nightmare nights but when you get a chunk of sleep it really helps. Ask me again when I am solo next week!

Hi lady, have just added you on FB!
Sounds like feeding is going great, don't worry about using shields, that can be weaned off over time once the TT is sorted.
You're right that one good night does help counteract the bad ones, last night was bad here but is had a good night Sunday so I'm not *too* shattered today thankfully!
I've discovered dry shampoo which is a godsend and am living off quick dinners but can't complain! H is great but so busy with work at the moment, I'm having to not ask too much of him as he's so busy IYSWIM?
I'm trying to toilet train N as well at the moment which is hard work, he is great when naked but keeps having accidents if I put pants on him. And inevitably he always needs a wee when I'm feeding Miss I!
How is I getting in having a little sister? Xx

I cannot believe you are doing the toilet training, you are very brave! I was showing interest just before S arrived but I discouraged it... Bad mummy, will probably live to regret that.
Last night she did 5.5 hours which was amazing. she is still widest awake all evening I can't remember when I settled in the evenings I remember NOTHING from last time!
I is doing really well, she is fine with S and will now kiss her but we st'll don't have a photo of them sat together. I am so pleased she is ok with her, we are just trying to keep things the same as possible for her.
Have accepted you. Gorgeous photos of your two x
