I'm in the 1st tri. I dont post everyday as it's so dead but there are a coupl eof us around. I am feeling much better at the moment. The random nausea has gone so I just feel icky if I'm hungry. Oh and I'm a bit emotional I cried on Saturday because I was hungy how pathetic is that! I can't remember the last time I cried before that. I'm still fairly tired too but that just makes getting up hard. I'm just waiting for the scan now and scaring myself that there will be nothing there despite an early scan at 6+3 in the EPU. Only 3 and a bit weeks to wait.

Hi Popcorn! There are a few of us but not many that post here! I'm always lurking around
Hope your doc won't shout at you for too long, I'm sure she'll be fine with you though! Did you have much sickness with S?
AFM - going through cycles where sickness goes away for a few days and then I wake up and bam, there it is! Had booking in appointment last week and faced my fears of getting my bloods done, 4 days later I still have a lovely long green/yellow bruise :( Just waiting for scan date to come through now I guess!
18/08/2014 at 11:07
Missed you there Rosco - glad everything is getting better for you. I totally hear you about the tiredness and I'm not even working! Have you got a date through yet?
18/08/2014 at 13:33
Tonka - a date for the scan? It's September 10th it came through a few weeks ago before my booking in appointment.

Hi Ladies! I'm usually lurking about!
Good to see you on here popcorn!
Hope your sickness isn't too bad Roscoe and Tonka
AFM - I'm feeling a smidge better in the past few days, but getting nervous for my nuchal scan on Thursday

Sorry I didn't come back to this yesterday ladies. Shall we make this thread one for the week instead of having a daily one? I'm always hopeful for a few bfps from the TTC board to boost the numbers. I found the tri threads invaluable with S so I'm looking forward to getting to 'know' you all :)
Roscoe glad youre feeling a bit better. I feel rubbish if I'm hungry but that's pretty much my only symptom. Excuse to keep eating!
Tonka hope your bruise goes soon and the nausea stays away
Hazel good luck for Thursday, I hope you continue to feel better :)
Going to take S to the library for rhyme time today which he hates because its always so packed he can't crawl around but we get to see one of my nct friends so I enjoy it! What have you all got going on today/tonight?
19/08/2014 at 09:39
I think a weekly thread is a really good idea. I only really post when i'm at work (lurk on my phone at home), so always seem to be late!
Library sounds nice, even though S will be a be grumpy! Haha I'm at work till 6, but H is at home so will have cooked tea ready for when I finish. Simple things, hey?!
19/08/2014 at 10:02
Always nice not to have to cook dinner :)
I've edited the thread title so that if anyone pokes their head in later in the week they can see it and will hopefully join in.
19/08/2014 at 11:14
Hi ladies - mind if I join you? I've been lurking on the TTC thread for a while but have finally plucked up the courage to join after getting my BFP last week. I already have a 13 month old daughter, so there's going to be quite a small gap. It still hasn't really sunk in as, other than a few cramping pains just around when AF was due, I've had zero symptoms, which worries me a little bit. I was horrendously sick with my first, but I can't remember when it started. Anyone else have no symptoms for a while?
19/08/2014 at 12:39
Hi Ladies, I'm usually lurking but it's been so quiet I don't post much, a weekly thread is a good idea. There's also a 2015 facebook group which is a bit more active and you should come and join us!
Ninky - Congratulations! Do you know how far on you are? I found out when I was 6 weeks and hadn't had any symptoms up to that point, still had no sickness just a bit of nausea, and other than sore nipples and bloating haven't felt much different, I think it's perfectly normal to worry when you have a lack of symptoms (I had an emotional outburst at about 7 weeks due to it, early scan at 8+5 showed everything to be fine!).
Popcorn - congrats on your recent BFP! Hope the doctor goes easy on you!
Hazel - Glad you're feeling a bit better, good luck for the nuchal scan x
Rosco - I know what you mean about worrying! I had a scan at 8+5 and everything was fine, I have another scan booked for Saturday which originally I was going to cancel but I'm starting to panic that there'll be nothing there, I think we all must think the same, which is a bit reassuring!
Tonka - Glad the sickness has eased a bit and you're at least managing to eat now. I'm not looking forward to blood tests either, managed to avoid them my whole life :(
AFM not much to report, I'm 10 weeks today so feels like I've reached a milestone and as mentioned we have another early scan on Saturday. Hoping to get my NHS scan date through this week too. Not much in the way of symptoms apart from nipples from hell!

Thanks for the welcome Woowoo! I'm only 4+5 so still early days. Haven't phoned my GP yet whereas I'd already had my appointment by this time last time! I had a private early scan last time which was very reassuring, so I've just booked one for three weeks' time.
19/08/2014 at 12:52
Welcome Ninky and congrats.
Hey everyone else. I really do think we should try and keep things going here...I know we are on the fb group too but we wouldn't be there without MD so lets make more effort! #
I am 13+4!!!!!! I have my nuchal scan tomorrow and then I stop my cyclogest on Friday. Which terrifies me! I'm definitely looking more pregnant at the mo, which is fun but I also struggle finding things to wear!
Fingers crossed I am back with a good update from my scan tomorrow and then from Monday I will be off to 2nd tri! AAAH!!!
19/08/2014 at 15:15
Welcome Ninky! Early days so I'm sure your symptoms will kick in soon!
Woowoo - 10 weeks, eek!
Rod you're doing so well! It's gone really quickly since you told us about your bfp. Loads and loads of luck for your scan xx
19/08/2014 at 15:37
Ah Rod those early bump days aren't fun for your wardrobe are they?! Maternity clothes are still way too big but everything else is just that little bit too tight and the bump doesn't really look like a bump yet! I was in 1st tri during winter last time, so managed to hide under baggy jumpers!
20/08/2014 at 14:14
Nice to see a few more people joining in. Maybe we can have a bash at a daily thread next week?
Welcome ninky - my little boy will be 18mo when this baby arrives so we can support each other through small age gap chaos!
Really wanted to pop on and wish Rod all the best for the nuchal scan this afternoon. Hope all goes ok, looking forward to an update! Xx
20/08/2014 at 14:46
Thanks popcorn - it's a little bit scary when I think how full on she is at the moment! I'm expecting a tough couple of years, but it'll be worth it when they're growing up so close in age I think.
21/08/2014 at 09:25
Morning! Nuchal went great! Baby was there wiggling around, measuring further on than we thought....I'm now 14 weeks 1 day and going to graduate to 2nd Tri! AAAH!!
Got a lovely pic of bubs, cute little profile and a hand up by their head. I cant stop looking at it!
21/08/2014 at 09:33
Good luck in 2nd tri Rod!
I've got my nuchal scan tomorrow afternoon, although slightly confused why as I'm only 10+2, but not going to complain if I get to see baby! Quite scared about it mainly as I've convinced myself that there won't be anything there. Will be glad when it's over.
21/08/2014 at 09:43
I was under the impression that the nuchal can only be measured between 11 and 14 weeks? Is it defo Nuchal and not Dating? x
