    Hi All

Wondered if anyone else was doing this?

I have been having my usual brazillian wax every 5-6 weeks during my pregnancy, however as I am coming up to D Day I am thinking I want to be as neat as viably possible so I have booked an appointment 9 days before I am due? So I am chancing it a little!

Anyone else thought about this - what are your plans if any?

This occured to me too although I am only just pregnant. i tend to use hair removing cream and take the whole lot off every now and again. i think I will plan to do this approx 2 weeks before my due date so will hopefully be nice and neat when the time comes.

I'll also be getting waxed to within an inch of my life fairly soon before my due date!

I probably go every 4-5 weeks anyway, so will hopefully not be *too* hairy whenever I go into labour!

I have found that waxing hurts a lot more now though - I imagine it's only going to get worse as the weeks progress - ouch!

I've booked my pre-baby waxing in for my first week off - 3 weeks before bubs is due, I'm lucky in that fact that once I've had a good waxing I tend to stay neat and tidy for a good 8-10 weeks before any stray ones show up so plenty of time before D-Day (unless s/he comes early  ).

It is definitely more sensitive whilst pregnant, but my beauty therapist is great at trying to make it as least painful as possible which helps.

I saw one of you wrote about using creams - I've been advised not to use these because of the high levels of chemicals plus the smell of them seems extra strong to my pregnancy nose at the mo!!

with my daughter i was plannin getting a wax near the time but she came prem and i was mortified that i had not shaved....all i was saying to doctors was "ive not shaved my lady garden" so embarassing esp as had emergency section and had get cathator put it...if gone into labour i would made time to trim the bush before she popped out since labours can go on abit hahahaha...fingers crossed go to plan this time round hehe.xx

oh ladies, with my first i got my lady bits and legs done around 38-39 weeks and it was fine. My second though came at 38 weeks and i was hairy as just ready to go!!!

I said to the midwifes, i cant believe ive got hairy bits/legs and they joked that they had all been laughing about my hairy legs over their t-break!!! Doh, not something to say to a woman in labour!!!
